Chapter 576: First Day Conclusion.
€œWell, I want the corpse of a Peak Tier 6 Demonic beast and any unrefined Tier 5 Spirit metal, I don€™t really care about the name or attributes of the unrefined spirit metal as long as it is Tier 5, I will gladly accept it,€ Alec stated.
The two instructors standing beside the Dean looked at Alec with puzzled expressions.
Initially, their minds struggled to comprehend just why Alec would request such items.
However, it didn€™t take long for them to consider the cost that would be deducted from the newly assigned team fee, causing them to nervously bite their fingernails.
€œWhat do you need the corpse of a Tier 6 demonic beast for?€ Instructor Phil, who is now responsible for the team€™s finances, asked.
But before he could say more, the Dean€™s raised hand silenced him.
€œConsider it done already!€ the Dean replied with a frown.
No matter how hard the Dean also pondered about the matter, he couldn€™t understand what Alec wanted with these specific requests.
The Dean briefly considered the possibility that Alec possessed crafting abilities and wished to create something.
However, he quickly dismissed that idea since Alec was far too young.
Furthermore, it seemed implausible for a Tier 4 mage to be able to melt, break, or even forge the bones of a Tier 6 demonic beast.
The absence of a nearby smithy only added to the confusion.
Still contemplating, the Dean wondered if Alec would change his request, believing that the initial one was simply a test to see if he could accept his real request.
€œThank you!€ Alec sincerely said, shocking the Dean out of his thoughts and plunging him into further confusion, as Alec didn€™t change his request as he had thought.
Just as the Dean was about to question Alec about his intentions with the requested items, they could hear the distant sounds of cheering, which eventually reached their room.
€œI guess someone finally won that match, well that€™s my cue to go and get the others, I€™ll be on my way, just make sure you ask for something tangible and combat effective,€ Alec said turning to his team members, before leaving the room and banging on the door as he exited.
€œBefore you say something like that, make sure you do the same thing for yourself,€ Pale responded, before turning to the rest of the team and seeing the way they were staring at him.
€œI€™m not wrong, right?
What truly contributes to combat effectiveness about obtaining an unrefined spirit metal that hasn€™t even been fashioned into a weapon or a deceased beast?
Despite its realm, I fail to see how it will enhance his battle prowess,€ Pale explained to the team, who stared at him with confusion.
His words seemed to be an attempt to justify himself, as he didn€™t want to be on the wrong side of the team.
# Hours later
The battle between the Bloodline Academy and the Holy Grail Academy had come to an end long ago, with the Bloodline Academy advancing to the next round as the Holy Grail Academy€™s captain, Julian, was unable to defeat Dragov.
Agnes, whom Alec had asked for details, struggled to find the right words to describe how the battle had been won.
She mentioned that it had been a close match at first, and Julian did come close to a victory a few times.
However, as the fight progressed, Dragov€™s strength continued to grow, reaching a point where Julian couldn€™t withstand it any longer and was forced to surrender when
Dragov had unleashed a powerful wind slam spell on his rib cage, utilizing the massive battle axe as a conduit to unleashed the spell.
The precise execution of the spell opened the eyes of many spectators who had deemed Dragov as merely a physical mage.
For the first time, they truly realized how dangerous he was.
He had displayed remarkable endurance, incredible strength, and the ability to withstand spells of the highest rank head-on.

On top of that, his control over his spells was also exceptional.
Through his display, they witnessed the fighting style of a perfect Bloodline Mage, however, there was one discrepancy, he had yet to even transform.
In his first battle with Marcus, they caught a glimpse of his dragon scales colour when he transformed his hands.
Yet, the dragon scales colour didn€™t align with the wind element he had showcased, leaving them with a sense that he was hiding his primary power.
While others still marvelled at Dragov€™s victory, Alec found himself concerned about the possibility that his primary powers might be linked to his ability to grow stronger the longer he fought.
Such thoughts made Alec cringe, as he fervently prayed that his improvement stemmed from an external source rather than his own power.
Cause he believed if the latter was true, defeating Dragov would become an incredibly arduous task.
The second match concluded with Alec hearing that the Battle Mage Academy had achieved an easy victory.
While he wasn€™t particularly surprised about their victory, Alec couldn€™t quite explain why he had been so optimistic about their success.
Nevertheless, the team had proven to Alec that he was not wrong to place his faith in them.
When Alec asked Agnes to recount the details of their triumph, he was met with the most ridiculous story.
The Battle Mage Academy had defeated the Witches and Wizards Academy without even deploying their captain, instead, their Vice Captain, Vlad, had led them to a straightforward and unconventional victory.
As after each win, their fighter would step down while allowing the next person in the team to take over the stage.
Five fights, five wins, and five different fighters.
This alone showcases their immense courage and determination to secure victory, as any misstep or loss could have resulted in serious consequences for the team.
Yet, they emerged triumphant, exhibiting remarkable confidence, learning about their accomplishments served as a growing realization for Alec, further intensifying his eagerness to obtain what he had requested from the Dean.
While the rest of the team also made their own requests, they were limited to choosing between a spirit armour or weapon, and when Phil was questioned about the limitations after they had promised to give anything they asked for, he deliberately responded with a malicious intent.
€œAlec is the reason why all of you are suffering with these limited choices, his request for a corpse and an unrefined metal, which we still don€™t know the purpose of or if it will even enhance the team€™s power, has depleted our funds, as a result, we also have to limit the requests,€ Phil declared.
His visible intention was to vilify Alec and turn the team against him.
However, his attempts failed miserably, as the team didn€™t even complain when Alec€™s name was used as an excuse.
They understood that even though Alec€™s request had affected their gifts, without him, they wouldn€™t have the opportunity to compete as one of the top eight academies, which is the reason they were being given gift in the first place
Although they didn€™t always vocalize it, deep down, they all recognized Alec as their saviour.
Phil€™s attempts to badmouth Alec were fruitless, especially considering that Alec had been the one generously providing them with cultivation pills which the academy couldn€™t give, and he did this without any stress or excuses the new instructors were giving.
Meanwhile, the academy couldn€™t even be honest with them about their financial struggles and inability to afford such resources, as the instructors were trying to put the blame on Alec€™s requests.
