The Golem Mage - Chapter 577
Chapter 577: Strings.
Chapter 577: Strings.
Terran made his way around the academy, as his gaze landed on a two-story crystal building, as he entered, he couldn€™t help but snort in disdain upon seeing the person in charge of the mental cultivation rooms.
The War God Mage Academy had two main cultivation buildings, which were the Origin Cultivation Building and the Mental Cultivation Building.
Both of them had the potential to enhance the cultivation speed of the mages in the academy, however, there was a significant restriction associated with it, as many mages in the War God Mage Academy still remained unaware of the existence of these cultivation grounds within the academy premises.
The reason for this restriction stemmed from the fact that the cultivation rooms relied on power stones obtained from deceased high rank intelligent life forms from the Second Dimension, or natural power stones from the power mines within the second dimension.
And obtaining these power stones was no simple task, as killing a high rank life form from the Second Dimension was easier said than done, let alone accessing the power mines or even Power veins that were guarded by mid or high Tier powers of the Second Dimension.
This is why when one of the academy€™s captain guard discovered that Alec had managed to steal from a low-tier mine that is undetected by any mid or high tier powers in the space passage that led to the Orcs race and tree lifeform, he saw it as an opportunity to claim it as his achievement and gain favour with the management of the War God Mage Academy.
As he hoped that such a contribution would propel him higher within the academy€™s ranks and entitle him to a share of the looted mana veins, should they successfully acquire them.
However, his involvement not only accelerated an attack that was meant to occur later, but also brought attention to the existence of the nature power mine to the mid and high tier powers surrounding that region.
Since that day, the War God Academy had withdrawn their guards and refrained from attempting to claim the power stone mines in the Second Dimension, as they were well aware of the disadvantage they faced.
The races within the Second Dimension would fiercely battle amongst themselves to establish dominance and gain permission to extract the valuable mine veins.
However, if the War God Academy were to join the fray, the forest lifeforms and Orcs villages, who were fighting for ownership over the power stone mines, would set aside their grudges and unite against them the human faction.
Their desire to prevent the humans from obtaining any cultivation resources from their lands was stronger than their obsession with keeping their rivals from claiming the treasure.
€œI want to use my quoted time for this month, find me a room real quick,€ Terran said to the mage at the counter, who happened to be Orion€™s master, he was responsible for organizing the allocation of rooms for cultivation, it was kind of his punishment.
€œI€™m sorry to let you down, but there are no available rooms at the moment, you€™ll have to come back another time,€ Dylan responded with a smirk on his face.
€œDon€™t play games with me, Dylan, as an instructor of this academy, I am entitled to ten hours of training in the Mental Cultivation rooms per month , Additionally, due to some of my disciples being chosen by the academy for the competition, I have been given an extra five hours,€ Terran asserted.
€œThis means I am supposed to have a total of fifteen hours to cultivate inside the Mental Cultivation rooms, don€™t tell me you would deny me my rights,€ Terran exclaimed, slamming his hands on the table before him in anger.
€œOh, how feisty, don€™t forget, you and your disciple are the reason I€™ve been assigned as a caretaker here in the first place, so be prepared, because as long as I remain the caretaker, I won€™t let you have a chance to cultivate here, you€™d better go drown your sorrows or find something else to occupy yourself,€ Dylan taunted.
€œAnd you think you can get away with this?
All I need to do is report this issue to the Dean, and he€™ll make sure you€™re punished again since it seems you haven€™t learned your lesson,€ Terran retorted, his head facing down.
As he cursed his luck for encountering Dylan on duty.
Terran attempted to use the Dean as a scare tactic against Dylan, but deep down, he knew he wasn€™t the type to report such matters.
But his desperation was evident, however, his statement only seem to elicit wild laughter from Dylan, who trembled with joy and patted the table in front of him.
€œThe Dean?
Sorry to inform you, but your big bad Dean isn€™t currently at the academy, this puts your fate in my hands.
If that doesn€™t sit well with you, you can go to the next in command, the Head Instructor at the moment as only he has the power to override me,€ Dylan explained, bursting into laughter at the end of his sentence.
Terran fell into deep thought, grinding his teeth in anger.
He was furious that he wouldn€™t be allowed the opportunity to cultivate, his shattered mental Image was a vivid reflection of his wounded mentality, and the only way he could heal faster was by cultivating in the Mental Cultivation rooms.
However, he had been denied access with a flimsy excuse, and even though he knew he had every right to cultivate there, he chose not to cause a scene, as that can be used as another excuse to punish him again now that the dean wasn€™t around.

Terran could already sense that the faction was likely behind this.
As they had been attempting various methods to impede his progress and prevent him from reaching the Tier 8 Mage realm.
They had found ways to impose bans on him or force him to stay away for months as a means of punishment for his actions or as a way to make him pay for his troubles.
Now, with no valid excuse left to restrict him from the Mental Cultivation building, they were resorting to telling him that all the rooms were occupied.
If Terran wasn€™t certain that the faction was pulling the strings behind the scenes, he might have reserved a place just in case a room became available.
But judging by the smug smile on Dylan€™s face, it was clear as day that he would never receive a call back.
With a heavy heart, Terran walked out of the Cultivation building with wounded feelings, well aware that he would only have a chance to cultivate once the new Dean returned and he could lodge a complaint.
He contemplated filing a complaint with the highest-ranking instructor in the academy due to the Dean€™s absence.
However, when he thought about how the highest ranking instructor in the Academy, at the moment, was Igor€™s father, who was also a member of the faction, Terran was left with no choice but to wait it out.
