Chapter 58: Genius In Tactis Always Have A Black Heart (Part 2) Chapter 58: Genius In Tactis Always Have A Black Heart (Part 2) The goblins initially felt overwhelming fear as they witnessed the ease with which their teammates had fallen mysteriously, without even encountering the enemy.
They had lost half of their numbers, which only added to their anxiety about the unknown.
And their cowardly instincts urged them to flee the battlefield and join the others squad of goblins who seems to be engaged in seemingly more reasonable battles.
However, as the horde of mages charging towards them came into view, their fear transformed into furious determination.
At the front, one Goblin uttered something in a language Alec still couldn€™t comprehend, Alec turned to Agnes, seeking clarification.
€œHe said we are underestimating them,€ Agnes translated.
€œHe ordered his Goblin brethren to attack the 50 mages accompanying Brandon and eradicate their shame before retreating.€
Chuckling to himself, Alec scoffed at the Goblin€™s choice to speak in another language.
€œWhat a coward, let€™s see how he will be able to retreat, especially after facing Brandon, Titan, and Legion, they€™ll tear them apart,€ Alec smirked confidently.
He knew exactly what he was doing and believed that the group he sent was more than capable of defeating the five hundred Goblins on their own, given they had enough time.
The Goblins finally found their courage to attack after enduring humiliation.
They raised their axes and black bats high, emitting piercing shrieks as they charged towards the group of 50-plus mages coming straight at them.
Tension filled the air as onlookers wondered what Alec€™s plan was to send only 50 mages against five hundred Goblins.
Many believed it seemed like a suicidal decision.
However, as they observed Alec€™s actions throughout the fight, it became evident that he never did anything without careful consideration of the benefits to himself.
He always made his moves when he was most confident in their success.
The attention of the Dark bliss Family turned towards the 50 mages, which was Alec€™s new move, as they were eager to see the surprise Alec had in store for them.
And it quickly came to fruition, as the confrontation between the Goblins and the group of mages happened, just as they were 20 meters away from each other.
Brandon casted a spell, his words unheard but the gathering of earth elements in the air above him was keenly felt by everyone in the battlefield.
[]
With a swipe of his fist, which was coated with earth elements, the onlookers€™ eyes nearly popped out of their sockets as they witnessed Brandon combining two spells together.
Alec knew that this was possible, although typically it required reaching the mid-mage stage before spells could be combined.
But with a little training from Alec himself and his peak affinity for earth magic, Brandon was able to achieve this feat.
In contrast to other earth-based shaking spells that only affected small areas and were not very effective, Brandon€™s technique was different.
It felt as if a genuine earthquake was about to unfold.
However, that was not all, earth spears erupted from the ground, piercing the goblins from beneath.
Most of the goblins experienced piercing from their legs upwards, but some unfortunate ones were struck directly through the head due to the unstable ground.
Once they fell due to the unstable ground what awaited them was an earth spear, piercing their heads,
The cry of agony reverberated among the goblins as they suffered the pain of being impaled from below.
From their vantage point in the sky, they couldn€™t help but feel that death from above, when the earth spear fell, was a better fate.
At least, that was the sentiment among those who had witnessed their companion€™s swift death.
They had believed it was a mercy to be struck in the head by a falling spear, to die instantly with minimal suffering.
But now, if the spear did not claim their lives, it rendered them incapable of combat, leaving them in excruciating pain.

Being impaled with that pain was the worst fate the goblin warrior tried to avoid , yet in the heat of battle, they seemed to forget their perilous situation.
However, Titan had not forgotten, he plowed through the Goblin ranks like a bulldozer, his presence alone a force to be reckoned with.
With a single swing of his mace, more than ten Goblins were sent hurtling through the air.
The Mace, already slick with fresh blood, seemed to thirst for more with each devastating blow.
Titan€™s stone armour was spattered with blood that was not his own-not that he possessed any blood to shed.
Unrelenting, he continued his forward charge, each swing scattering Goblins like leaves in the wind.
Observers were left in stunned silence by the display of raw strength, having not anticipated the Alec golems to exhibit such formidable power.
Titan€™s might was indeed a surprise, but the two other golems flanking him were equally formidable.
Meanwhile, Legion moved through the battlefield with a deadly grace, dispatching Goblins in hushed finality.
Though his presence was less overt than Titan€™s, but none could compel him to reveal his full might.
With effortless flicks of his spear left and right, the spearhead found its way into one Goblin skull after another.
His mastery over the weapon was evident; as he wielded the spear with the finesse of a seasoned expert, despite being only a golem.
The spear, was manipulated like a sinuous whip, and left onlookers questioning whether it was truly crafted from the earth element.
No one seemed able to evade its reach; as a mere flick in the intended direction resulted in another life claimed.
Legion was like a silent harbinger of death on the battlefield, maintaining a three-meter radius around him free of Goblins, as if he commanded a small, sovereign domain amidst the chaos.
In stark contrast to Titan€™s blood-soaked battleground, Legion€™s area of combat was conspicuously devoid of blood.
Even the spearhead remained clean, as he deftly flicked away any blood after each precise strike.
Spectators felt as though they were witnessing a master spearman€™s exhibition, each move a testament to his unparalleled skill.
Meanwhile, the other golem named Oni was also drawing considerable attention.
As it Engaged in its first battle, Oni unleashed its full strength, which had previously been restrained due to Alec€™s commands during the duels.
Today, in the all-out war, there were no such restrictions.
Oni€™s prowess with blades was a spectacle to behold.
Its six arms were a whirlwind of relentless dicing, cutting, and slashing.
The blade skills were exceptional, a reason Alec had permitted its participation.
With six hands, Oni achieved thrice the results in weapon skill training compared to the other golems and dispatched its foes with remarkable speed.
Its blade skills and evolutionary enhancements made it a formidable challenger to any peak Tier 1 creature or mage, its presence on the Tier 1 battlefield was akin to that of a demon with no blind spot.
Goblins attempting to ambush Oni from behind met their demise before they could even approach, as if Oni possessed eyes on the back of its head, effortlessly freeing a pair of arms to counter any rear attack.
Clarisa could only gaze in disbelief at the unfolding carnage, unable to fathom why Alec possessed three golems of such extraordinary caliber.
Brandon, however on the other hand was not to be overshadowed.
He continuously wielded the earth spear skill, claiming lives with an almost rhythmic regularity.
Capable of conjuring five earth spears per second and directing them with pinpoint accuracy, he was a force in his own right.
But he knew better than to measure his strength against the golems; as in such a contest, he would be utterly out matched, so he just focused on his own mission.
