The Golem Mage - Chapter 623
Chapter 623: A New Golem.
Chapter 623: A New Golem.
Alec wore a look of surprise because, no matter what he had imagined, Knight being knocked out of the Beast Forest was never one of the possibilities running through his mind.
He hadn€™t even realized that one could access the Black void Space after entering the Beast Forest, because once he entered, he fought until either his time ran out or he was killed, both of which always resulted in his consciousness being transported back to his body.
This meant that he thought there was no way back after entering the Beast Forest all this while, whereby there might have been a way.
With many questions swirling in his mind, Alec couldn’t help but move closer to Knight, who looked pale and exhausted.
€œWithout omitting anything, tell me exactly what happened to you in the Beast Forest!€ Alec demanded, staring directly at Knight not even caring if he was still tired or not.
€œOkay!€ Knight nodded, trying to catch his breath.

#Beast Forest
Agnes cautiously walked through the forest, initially believing that when Alec sent them flying toward the portal, the whole gang would reappear in the same location since they all entered together.
It was only after she fell into a large pool that she realized how mistaken she had been, even Alec had not expected that they would all be teleported to different parts of the Beast forest.
Fortunately for her, unlike the others who encountered demonic beasts upon entering, she spawned in a location devoid of any immediate threats.
And as she wandered, she felt somewhat clueless, unsure of what to be on guard for.
€œGrrrr!€
However, in the beast forest such leisure would never last long, as the sound of growling reached her ears, forcing Agnes to take a defensive stance.
She summoned her Spirit Equipment Set, which swiftly encased her body, within seconds, the Wolven Tide Set enveloped her, draping her in Tideborn robes and Aquatic Stride shoes.
After fully summoning the defensive aspects of her equipment, she drew out her wand and pushed her hand forward, watching as its form began to change.
In just two seconds, her wand transformed into a staff.
Without wasting any time, she lightly tapped the staff on the ground, with her eyes closed just so she could cast a wide area spell.

Even while putting space between herself and the demonic beast, she didn't forget to unleash two Mid Tier Spells in quick succession, showcasing the advantages the Magic path mages had over the other Mage paths.
The ground beneath the panther who had landed on the ground skill fully caved in, forcing its legs deeper into the earth and trapped.
But that was just the beginning; the panther struggled as its legs became ensnared in the sand, leaving it vulnerable to the incoming Water Bomb hurtling toward it.
Boom!
The panther's head exploded, killing it instantly after being hit by a Mid Tier attack, its body landing in the ground with a thud sound.
"What the hell is with the strength of that thing?
Even if it was just a Tier 2 beast, its moves and power were on another level entirely," Agnes muttered, quickly surveying her surroundings.
Her Earth Resonance spell had alerted her that more demonic beasts had closed in, so she tried to locate them with her eyes.
And as she scanned the area, she noticed several creatures lurking in the bushes, some hiding behind the trees, their deep red eyes watching her from a distance.
They weren€™t attacking yet, just observing, as if waiting for the right moment to strike.
Agnes could feel the tension building, because they weren't just going to let her leave peacefully.
Though the beasts appeared wary of her power after the last attack, but it was clear they were all waiting for one of them to make the first move.
Agnes' attention was drawn to the last panther in the group surrounding her, seven in total, but one, in particular, stood out.

It crouched atop a tree, staring down at her, its presence almost imperceptible, she had nearly missed it entirely, and even her Earth Resonance hadn€™t detected it, its aura expertly concealed.
Only by noticing one of the other panthers glancing toward it did she spot the creature perched on a gnarled branch of the nearby ancient tree.
This panther was different, its massive form crouched in the shadows of the huge leaves, blending seamlessly.
It was also Larger than any of the other panthers, its inky black fur absorbed the surrounding light, making it nearly invisible to the naked eye.
Its molten amber eyes glowed with an eerie intensity as it fixated its gaze on Agnes below, watching her every move.
Muscles coiled beneath its sleek coat as the panther€™s barbed tail flicked silently, and razor-sharp claws gouged deep grooves into the bark of the tree.
The air around it thrummed with malevolent energy, as it finally revealed its aura, as Agnes locked eyes with it.
"Great, just what I needed, a Tier 3 demonic beast leading a pack of Tier 2s," Agnes cursed under her breath.
She had barely managed to handle the Tier 2 panther she had just killed, and now not only was she facing six more, but the leader itself, a cunning creature willing to sacrifice one of its own to gauge her strength.
If anything unnerved Agnes, it was the intelligence behind the Tier 3 panther€™s tactics.
"I guess it's time for Plan B," she muttered, slamming her staff onto the ground, causing a pool of water to spread out around her, the liquid shimmering as it rippled across the terrain.
With a second strike of her staff, runes began to etch themselves into the wet earth.
"Arise, my clay golems!" Agnes commanded, slamming her staff down a third time, and this time the ground trembled as a hand made of clay emerged from one of the pivot points in the array, the first sign of her summoned army beginning to take form.
