The smooth, sandy ground transformed before their eyes into a bush-covered battlefield.

Unlike the first round, which took place in a magical forest with towering trees, this terrain had knee-high bushes.

The tallest shrubs barely reached waist height, allowing each team a clear view of their opponents on the other side of the battlefield.

Without hesitation, ten members of the Onyx Academy sprinted across the bushy terrain, racing toward the War God Academy team.

Their captain lingered behind as his teammates surged forward, dark abilities and shadowy elements swirling around them.

The air grew colder, filled with the chilling, negative energy they brought in their wake.

€œDon€™t forget the plan, move out!€ Alec commanded, the War God Academy team sprang into action, streaks of colourful magic trailing behind them, each hue representing a different elemental affinity.

Unlike the Onyx Academy, which boasted only dark and shadow abilities, War God Academy€™s mages wielded a dazzling variety of elemental powers.

Selene tilted her head slightly towards him, a smile on her face.

€œYou€™re interesting, and so is your team, but if you think I attacked with my shadow corps out of concern for your pitiful squad, you€™re sorely mistaken,€ he replied, his smile widening.
