Chapter 653: The Dream Army.
Alec shuffled through the forest, determined to reach the source of the noise, he had sent his golems out to scout the area, and they returned with a list of demonic beasts nearby.
After careful consideration, he decided to hunt five Peak Tier 5 demonic beasts.
So far, his strategy of letting his golems take the lead had proven effective; as they had successfully hunted three of those beasts without any issues.
The only challenge now lay with the final two, a duo that worked well together, a Golden Armored Rhino and a Jungle King Boar.
Alec carefully navigated the forest, wanting to observe how the battle would unfold.
He had spread out some of his golems to either scout ahead or secure the perimeter to make sure no other beast breached in, and he is confident they would meet up with him shortly, as he had sent them all a mental transmission to return.
The golems currently facing the two Peak Tier 5 beasts were Titan, Legion, Hunter, and Tempest Butcher.
With a boost of speed, Alec finally caught up, reaching a clearing.
He added Mana pressure to his legs, launching himself upward and landing on a nearby tree branch where he could get a good view of his golems in action.
Normally, Alec wouldn€™t attempt such a risky maneuver; as the beasts of the Beast Forest typically possessed higher battle prowess than their realm suggested.
However, Titan had already reached Peak Tier 5, and Butcher had surprised Alec by breaking into the High Tier 5 realm, an achievement he hadn€™t closely monitored due to his focus on the competition.
But in his last fight with Dorian, Alec had noticed a significant improvement in Butcher due to him watching, as for Legion and Hunter, Legion was the golem with the most firepower among all of Alec€™s creations, providing him confidence in the upcoming battle as Legion Always came through.
Hunter on the other hand was still integrating with the team, though he still is a low Tier 5 golem.
As Alec observed them, he sensed that even Legion would soon reach the Peak Tier 5 realm, which caused him to partially blame the system for his slow progress.
The higher experience points required for each level-up made his journey to the next realm considerably lengthy.
While it seemed the golems were also suffering from this same effect, their experience point requirements were less than his, likely because they were sharing a percentage with him, and it felt as though the system was being more lenient with them because of that.
The Rhino Demonic beast charged forward, and the golems quickly spread out, leaving Titan at the forefront to confront the beast.
€œCome on!€ Titan shouted, spreading his arms wide.
Bang!
The Rhino collided with Titan, attempting to lift him off the ground, but instead, it pushed him back until his legs rested against a tree.
€œArrgh!
Get rid of the other one fast!
I can only hold this one for about three minutes at most,€ Titan groaned, his body slightly enlarging as his freezing powers radiated from the tip of the Rhino’s horn down its back, as it seemed his ice abilities had grown stronger.
With this newfound strength, Titan locked his hands around the beast, throwing it off balance.
While Titan engaged the Rhino to buy time, the remaining three golems finally moved against the Boar demonic beast.
Tempest led the charge, moving like a bolt of lightning, just before clashing with the Boar, he swung his massive two-handed axe, creating a swirling windstorm in his wake.
With that motion, Butcher generated enough lightning energy to envelop his axe, which now sparked with destructive electrical currents as he prepared to launch himself into the air.
Rotating his body, Butcher slammed his axe down toward the head of the Boar King.

The creature grunted, and almost immediately, a dome-like shield appeared around its body just before the axe struck.
Boom!
A loud explosion erupted as the axe smashed into the shield, and Alec squinted, trying to focus with his mental abilities to see through the electrical currents that lit up the point of impact.
Through the flashes of lightning, he realized that Butcher wouldn€™t be able to break through the Boar€™s defense.
And things could get dangerous if they didn€™t finish this before Titan€™s three minute deadline; as he observed that Titan was actually on the losing end of his own battle.
However, Alec was more interested in watching than intervening with the battle going on.
At that moment, Oni landed gracefully on a nearby tree, clutching his dark scythe with its blade resting against his neck.
To Alec’s left, Sword Saint squatted on another tree, surprisingly still wearing a blindfold made of earth, which seemed to impair its vision.
Yet, in an extraordinary way, it was still able to follow the rhythm of the fight using its enhanced sense of sound.
With these two already present, Alec was confident the rest would soon arrive.
Swoosh!
It didn€™t take long, less than thirty seconds after Alec sensed that Butcher was about to lose that clash, he was actually sent rebounding.
But like an expert, Butcher twisted his body mid-air and landed on a branch of an ancient-looking tree, while Legion and Hunter closed in from the side.
€œA little help!€ Hunter called to Legion.
€œA little patience would go a long way.
It€™s not like you can rush art, if you want, you can still keep it company!€ Legion replied, assembling and coupling some kind of cyborg-styled sniper in his hands with various iron shaped cubes he was getting from his jetpack.
.
However, it couldn’t really be called a complete sniper; because below the muzzle, another device resembling a launcher appeared to be designed for rocket-propelled ammunition.
€œIt€™s always a drag fighting alongside you, why can€™t you just kill it?
Must you always make your kills about perfection and catchphrases?€ Butcher complained as he launched himself off the tree, heading back toward the Boar king.
But the golems still closest to the Boar were Legion and Hunter, and in an instant without needing to discuss anything they both switched places, with Legion falling back to complete his weapon coupling and letting Hunter take the lead.
Hunter stretched his left hand backward before thrusting it toward the Boar King, which was still sprinting forward with its dome-like defense intact.
As he swung his arm forward, the hook weapon that represented his left hand shot forward toward the protective barrier.
