Chapter 669: Wild Nature vs Cold Nature.
Chapter 669: Wild Nature vs Cold Nature.
With the referee signalling the beginning of the match, both teams skipped any mind games or elaborate tactics; their sole aim was to clash head-on and eliminate their opponents on the opposite side.
Dragov’s white hair swayed as he charged forward, his intentions as clear as day, all he wanted to do was engage Vincent Whitefang who was on the opposite side head on.
Seeing this, Vincent swiftly unsheathed his long sword, with iron chains curling all the way to his left elbow, and the ending of the chain in his palm was connected to a kunai.
Watching Vincent summon his weapons, Vladimir knew he was fully prepared to confront Dragov, but he wasn€™t keen on letting that happen just yet, he turned to his three other main team members.
Though it was merely a brief exchange of glances, the mages seemed to understand his intentions and quickly cast spells to boost their agility, swiftly matching Vincent’s speed.
As his three main teammates caught up with him, Vincent€™s expression shifted.
He could have surpassed them by casting the same spell, but instead, he turned to Vladimir.
€œIt€™s not yet time for you to face him, use this opportunity to eliminate anyone who can assist him; we€™ll handle Dragov for now,€ Vladimir instructed.
Although Vincent didn€™t fully agree with his vice captain€™s tactics, he had always trusted Vlad€™s judgement.
Knowing that Vladimir had continually looked out for him, Vincent figured there must be a reason for targeting the main members of the Bloodline Academy first.
So he turned midway towards Dragov and redirected himself toward those three main members of the Bloodline Academy team who were now free since his own teammates who were meant to clash with them were now keeping Dragov occupied.
€œYou dare run from me?!€ Dragov shouted as he noticed the shift in the Battle Mage Academy€™s lineup.
As he Swung his sword with one hand, showcasing his incredible strength, by effortlessly manipulating such a heavy two hand weapon with just one hand.
As soon as Dragov made his move, the three mages from the Battle Mage team advancing toward him brandished their weapons in unison, positioning themselves to defend against his strike.
This caused all of them to fall back a few steps, but thanks to their cooperation, they didn€™t sustain significant damage from Dragov€™s attack and managed to hold their ground.
Dragov, determined to advance toward Vincent again, but this time he found himself surrounded once again as the three mages formed a tight battle formation around him, which forced him to fight against them.

Meanwhile, while Dragov was occupied, Vincent redirected his attention to Carmilla, Connor, and Kira.
€œSorry, Kira!€ he called to his cousin as he dashed toward her, planning to eliminate her with minimal effort.
Both Kira and Vincent utilised their footwork as their weapons clashed; Vincent’s sword met her daggers in a sharp collision.
However, Kira could not match Vincent€™s level of weapon mastery and began to falter, just when she felt she was reaching her limit, she tapped into her bloodline and called upon its power.
The moment Vincent saw the fur starting to appear, he moved in closer, causing Kira’s eyes to widen in fear.
With a swift motion, Vincent struck her head with the hilt of his sword, producing a small bang as he knocked her unconscious.
He was about to slit her throat with his Kunai, knowing that the light would descend and take her away after such fatal attack.
However, before his left hand could complete the action, an incredibly strong force pulled him back, reminding him that there were still two free members of the Bloodline Academy.
Vincent had targeted Kira first for two reasons, one she was the weakest, and the second was because she was his cousin.
This was the main reason he had knocked her unconscious, as he didn’t want her to suffer when he eliminated her.
But his plan was thwarted when Carmilla used her hair manipulation to drag him back.
Seeing one of Vincent’s hands restrained, Connor seized the opportunity to strike, as he lunged through the air, transforming into his werewolf form, and swung his claws at Vincent.

However, they had made a slight miscalculation.
While Vincent might have been lenient with a family member, he had no reservations about unleashing his full strength against others.
He wielded his sword with skill, as his blade was engulfed in scorching red flames, as he parried Connor€™s attack.
Using the momentum, he allowed himself to be pushed back, positioning himself closer to Carmilla.
Without warning, he swung his sword backwards towards her in an horizontal manner, aiming to decapitate her and free himself from the constraints of her hair.

As he swung the sword, it seemed to absorb the surrounding light, sending a swift blade of energy toward Carmilla€™s neck.
Startled by Vincent's decisive move, she realised that to survive, she had to release her hold on him.
She swiftly summoned the full power of her hair, relinquishing her restraint on his left hand to create a tall barrier constructed with her hair.
The sword light cleaved through the hardened hair with ease, but fortunately for Carmilla, most of the energy was expended in the process.
Her hair also returned to its normal length as she too had expended the energy she had saved in it just to save herself, leaving her desperate as she realised she could no longer use it to attack.
The brief distraction allowed Connor enough time to deliver a kick to Vincent's stomach, producing a loud impact.
However, Connor felt his leg hadn't connected as expected.
Vincent hadn't been knocked back, let alone sent flying.
Instead, Connor's leg had struck a solid surface rather than the soft flesh of a stomach, upon closer inspection, he realised that Vincent had subtly raised his right leg at the last moment, absorbing the impact and preventing any serious damage.
Connor wasn't ready to miss such an opportunity, as he sensed Vincent being pushed back from his previous attack, indicating that he had more strength than Vincent.
Seizing the moment, Connor closed in and swung his hand, aiming to claw at Vincent's neck.
€˜One strike, just one strike,€™ Connor muttered, however, as he entered Vincent's attack range, he noticed something unusual: Vincent's body moved at such high speed that he seemed almost ghost-like.
With his incredible speed, Vincent was able to tilt his body to the left, causing Connor€™s attack to slide past him, although Connor's movements might have been stiff and couldn't match Vincent , but his eyes were locked on Vincent's body as he moved beyond his reach.
Suddenly, a feeling of danger washed over him.
Puchi!
A sharp pain surged through Connor as he realised that while his focus had been on Vincent, Vincent had deftly moved his left hand.
He had wielded the kunai in reverse with his left hand, piercing it straight into Connor's neck and slowly sliding the small weapon in, all while maintaining eye contact with Connor.
