Chapter 680: Iron Body 4.
€œTell me, people of the Northern Kingdom, are you ready?€ the red-haired referee shouted, his voice ringing out as the audience chanted €œYes!€ in response.
It was finally the day after the battle between Bloodline Academy and Battle mage Academy, and now it was time to determine who would secure third place and who would settle for fourth in the inter academy competition.
The match was set between Onyx Academy and Battle mage Academy who had both lost in the third round, though many fans had come to support Onyx academy, but they all understood that it would take a miracle for their team to win.
First and foremost, their captain was still in poor condition and wouldn€™t be able to participate, while their vice-captain was capable, but they all knew that she couldn€™t bear the entire team€™s burden alone, unlike the Battle mage team.
Despite their captain being injured as well it didn€™t affect them much, as the Battle mage team remained stronger overall and could defeat Onyx Academy even with their captain side-lined.
Observant fans in the crowd began to glance around as the beginning of the match approached, they were quick to notice that the entire Bloodline Academy team was nowhere to be seen; they hadn€™t even come to watch the match.
But the crowd did spot another team when they looked up to the third level of the VIP section, they spotted members of the War God Mage Academy team seated there.
Although Alec and a couple of others were missing, but the mere presence of the War God Academy demonstrated respect for at least one of the participating teams.
Without further delay, the referee, who had taken on the responsibility of overseeing all the matches after recent event with the other referee, called for the beginning of the match.
Prompting both teams to dash towards each other, aware that they had no chance of advancing beyond the bottom half of the top four.
They have Discarded any thoughts of tactics, as they clashed head-on against each other, their only focus on ensuring their team secured the third position.

While the rest of the team had gone to watch the match, Arthur and Brandon had chosen to stay behind to keep an eye on Alec.
Even Selene agreed with this decision, which is why not all the members of the War God Academy team attended the match.
€œIt€™s just like old times,€ Arthur said, glancing at Alec€™s door, which remained locked, while Legion stood at the entrance like a guard.
Arthur and Brandon were seated in the main living room that connected to all the rooms.
€œIt feels like it€™s been ages, but it still seems like yesterday that we were all cultivating in Alec€™s courtyard,€ Brandon reminisced, lost in thoughts of the good old days.
€œEven now, Legion is still acting like Alec€™s personal guardian.
I just hope he wakes up soon,€ Arthur added, both of them surprised that Alec had not yet regained consciousness.
Though it is unusual that Alec seemed to enjoy sleeping more than usual considering that even cultivators didn€™t typically need sleep as often as he appeared to.
But despite his sleeping habits, Alec had always managed to wake up on time, no matter the circumstances.
So it was strange that he hadn€™t gotten up yet, just then, they saw Alec emerging from his room, with Legion giving a slight bow as he walked in.
Alec appeared with sleepy eyes, stretching his body and yawning as he approached his two brothers.
€œLet me see your golem,€ Alec said to Arthur, cutting them off before they could ask him anything.
Although they thought he had been sleeping, but Alec had actually been busy inside the Amulet world.
He hadn€™t been aware of what was happening because he saw some few changes happening; and it seemed the world was undergoing some sort of progress, but he didn€™t really care at that moment as he plunged into the second level of the Beast Forest.
He threw himself at beasts left and right, testing the full power of his new spirit equipment set, and now he felt fully confident that he could easily dispatch Low Tier 5 demonic beasts there.
Mid and High Tier 5 demonic beasts would only present a minor challenge for Alec before he defeated them, but his greatest achievement was that he could now easily kill peak-tier 5 beasts without resorting to his bloodline or revealing too much of his abilities.
The Infernal Mantle spirit equipment set had elevated him to another level of strength entirely.

Now, even if he encountered a low-tier 6 demonic beast, Alec felt no fear as he could escape from its pursuit; and if he met a solo Tier 6 beast, and he summoned Titan, the beast would likely turn tail and flee.
And that was precisely what Alec had been doing in his sleep, he didn€™t just go against a solo beast this time because they would run seeing Alec€™s support,
So he had initiated a war with one of the Tier 6 overlord demonic beasts, the Golden-Horned Drake.
Alec had two reasons for going against the Overlord Drake: the first was for revenge on how the Drake chased him around, and the second was that killing it would help his own Golden Horn Soul Beast advance further, should it acquire the soul of a Tier 6 demonic beast.
The conflict between Alec€™s newly enhanced golem army and the Golden-Horned Drake beast army, led by its tier 5 minions, was destructive and caused many lesser demonic beasts around the area that didn€™t work under the Drake to turn and run.
This battle lasted for hours, as the Drake commanded a significant number of tier 5 minions to rush at Alec and his golems hoping to wear them off but it still backfired as in the final moments, it ended up being bombarded by both Alec and Titan from different sides.
Fortunately for it, just as the confrontation reached its apex, Alec ran out of time and was recalled back to the real world before he could be the Drake.
Although he felt a pang of disappointment from not being able to kill the Drake once and for all, but his disappointment was outweighed by his anticipation of returning to challenge the Drake now that its strength had been reduced and its minions mostly annihilated.
Before leaving his room, Alec reflected on his battle with the Drake, analysing where he could have performed better tactically.
As a smile spread across his face as he realized that, for the first time since entering the second level of the Beast Forest, he could go wild without fearing running into a Tier 6 demonic beast.
He felt liberated, sensing that he was close to being on equal footing with the Peak Tier overlord beasts of the second level.
The thought of being closer to acquiring Tier 6 loot filled him with joy.
