Chapter 713: Rich Kid Aura 1.
Alec had just finished severing the head of the third Tier 6 demon he faced when a system notification flashed before him, informing him of a recent level-up.
The message caught him off guard, leaving him with a perplexed expression, while he knew that slaying Tier 6 lifeforms would grant him significant more experience points, he still hadn€™t expected it to be this easy to progress to the next level.
Sure, he had been systematically eliminating the low Tier 6 Demonkins, as they were the only ones he could overpower in just a few strikes with his special Blood scythe weapon, but this Level up still felt unusually swift.
Due to being curious about all this Alec decided to open his system interface to review the notifications.

As Alec scanned the notifications, he felt both surprised and impressed.
The sheer volume of information being shared with him as the team leader made him realize why his level progression had been so rapid.
The 30% experience gain from his team€™s collective efforts was an unexpected boon, in return, his team members were advancing faster than normal due to their connection to Alec€™s system.
With this revelation in mind, Alec tightened his grip on his Blood scythe, its blade gleaming ominously in the eerie light of the Blood moon, he took a moment to swiftly survey the chaotic expanse of the Royal Grand Arena.
The sight he saw brought him little relief, as the Bloodline Academy team, who had previously been opponents, had now joined the other academy teams as defenders against the second Dimension invaders.
After Dragov was fully healed by the pill Alec had tossed their way, they rallied together and started to clear out demons around them.
Though they had been at each other€™s throats only moments before, but Alec couldn€™t deny his gratitude for their assistance as the Bloodline Academy were a very formidable team.
And he knew they were a crucial ally in this battle, if he ever wanted to win this battle with less casualties on his own side, For now, the survival of everyone depended on unity, no matter how temporary or strained.
But while the other academies had stepped up to assist after Alec€™s directive, and taking control of one side of the Royal Grand Arena€™s exits and aiding in the evacuation of the low rank mages there had been one academy which stood out in its refusal to cooperate, the Royal Mage Academy.
Their inaction was infuriating Alec, as he firmly believed that every available hand was needed to eliminate the Mid Tier Demonkins swiftly.
But instead of joining the fray, the Royal Mage Academy€™s team had moved up and remained stationed in the Third VIP section, guarding the paralysed High Rank mages who were unable to fight or move due to the blood moon€™s restrictive spell.
To Alec, their actions seemed not only unnecessary but cowardly.

It was clear that the Demonkins weren€™t even targeting the High Rank mages, instead they were focusing on Mid and Low Tier mages, leaving the so-called €œguards€ looking like they were simply avoiding the battle.
In Alec€™s eyes, their stance was nothing more than an excuse to shirk their responsibilities out of fear.
His frustration was interrupted by a blood curdling scream.
The cry of pain snapped Alec out of his thoughts as he turned to see another instructor slain just a few meters away.
€œYou€™re next!€ came the guttural snarl of a flaming skinned demon who was responsible for the Instructor€™s death.
This demon was unlike the other Tier 6 Alec had faced so far, it exuded a far more oppressive aura, it was a High-Tier 6 demon, about two smaller tier above the ones Alec had been able to kill.
Having taken down three Tier 6 demons, Alec had begun to attract their attention, even without the direct involvement of Azgoth, who was watching from above with malicious intent.
Alec steadied himself as the demon launched forward, flames roaring on its razor-sharp claws.
Though Alec knew this fight was far from favourable, but there wasn€™t an ounce of hesitation in him.
Instead, his fighting spirit burned brighter, overtaking any fear he might have felt.
The more blood Alec spilled, the stronger his bloodlust grew, it was as if every kill eroded a part of his reason, pushing him closer to reckless abandon and a complete immersion in the carnage of battle.
Yet, in the back of his mind, he knew he couldn€™t afford to lose control
The only solace Alec found amidst the chaos was his awareness of the bloodlust clouding his thoughts.
He recognized it as an effect of his Blood Reaper class, a stage where the primal urge to kill threatened to override reason.
What kept him tethered to sanity was his little mentality stat, it was the sole reason he hadn€™t devolved into a battle-crazed maniac yet.
Alec was well aware that losing control of his reasoning means, either by getting surrounded when his mind failed him or by being cornered by an even stronger Tier 6 Demonkin.
€œThink…
think!
Shit, I got it!€ Alec muttered, pushing his strained mind for a solution to the overwhelming demon before him.
Inspiration struck, but not a moment too soon, as the demon was already upon him.
Bang!
A deafening crash echoed through the battlefield as the High Tier 6 flaming skinned demon slammed into Alec with its foot.
The impact created a shockwave, sending ripples of energy through the air and slamming Alec into the ground.
€œWeak!€ the demon sneered, glaring at Alec€™s groaning form sprawled in the dirt and debris beside him.
€œActivate!€ Alec growled in response, his voice laced with determination.
The single word left the demon momentarily confused, but its confusion turned to alarm as the ambient mana around them began surging toward a specific object him, or specifically a card Alec had left in air while he was being stuck down.
The demon€™s instincts screamed danger at the sight of what looked like an attacking talisman to it, and an overwhelming sense of death washed over it.
It tried to flee, its massive body twisting to take off, but the gathering mana was far faster.
In an instant, the spectral image of a High Tier 6 Golden Horned Drake manifested in front of the demon.
The beast€™s aura was suffocating, exuding raw power, after all this one was from the beast forest.
This creature wasn€™t just any entity; it was one of the High-Tier 6 subordinates of the Peak-Tier 6 Golden Horned Drake, the same one which had troubled Alec once.
While Alec had failed to defeat the Peak-Tier beast, Titan and his summons had hunted down several of its minions, often with assistance from the main golems.
Those victories had granted Alec valuable spoils after he made the big unveiling, including random spell cards that are tied to powerful demonic beasts.
Now, one of those cards was unleashed, causing the flaming-skinned demon to freeze in terror, its earlier bravado replaced by desperation.
It could sense the Golden Horned Drake€™s deadly intent, seeing such an improvement made Alec change his strategy, as it was now clear to him that he can€™t just be hoarding these high-ranking cards for later when he was in a life or death situation.
This battle was not looking good yet as there was still an overwhelming number disadvantage and if it extended longer they might break first so Alec was trying to use every resource he had to get a win faster.
