The Golem Mage - Chapter 741
Chapter 741: Preparing 2.
Chapter 741: Preparing 2.
The reason for their surprise became evident as they inspected the once-blank contract within their minds.
The first line now displayed a clause, and it was Alec€™s exact words that was etched onto it with eerie clarity, as they processed this, feeling with a mix of unease and intrigue, they noticed Alec pulling out four more contracts and pushing them toward Aiden, Kelvin, Emma, and Ethan.
It then dawned on Endrick and Sophia that Alec€™s initial move must have been a test, because if he was willing to bind even his clansmen in the same manner, it proved how deeply he valued the secret he was about to share.
This realization made them feel honoured, as it indicated Alec considered them as trustworthy as his closest allies.
When Endrick and Sophia glanced at Arthur, Brandon, and the others who had not been asked to sign, they saw smug expressions that seemed to mock their earlier hesitation, Endrick and Sophia then assumed these individuals had already undergone this process before, considering their bond with Alec have reached a level beyond formalities.
However, the reality was different.
Arthur and the others weren€™t gloating but were genuinely content, they appreciated Alec€™s trust in them, as he had shared his most guarded secret with them without requiring any binding contract.
Although they would have signed it without hesitation if he had asked, but knowing Alec valued their loyalty so highly bolstered their confidence in him.
The second set of contracts went through the same ritual after the signing was done.
Each contract split into two halves, with one half flying to Alec and the other vanishing into its respective signee.
Alec recited the same clause, sealing the agreements.
With that completed, Alec finally spoke, his tone light yet purposeful.
€œNow that that€™s out of the way, it€™s time to grind some levels and make me a little richer, especially since I€™ll be prioritizing your growth from now on.€
His words sparked some confusion, particularly the phrase €œgrind some levels.€ Several people exchanged puzzled looks, their brows furrowed.
However, seeing the calm demeanour of Arthur and the others who they assumed had more experience they decided to flow with it without question.
Alec summoned a free branch from the Primordial Tree, which materialized from the space just above his right shoulder.
Six of the ten people around him wore expressions of surprise, while the other four, especially Arthur, exchanged knowing glances.
Arthur couldn€™t resist mouthing the word, €œAmateurs,€ as though it had become his personal mantra, thanks to Alec.
The six tried to steel themselves as roots shot out toward them, but to their surprise, the roots didn€™t hurt when they pierced their bodies.
Instead, they felt an overwhelming drowsiness before slipping into unconsciousness.
–
€œWelcome to my space, or as I like to call it,€ Alec€™s booming voice startled the six awake as they found themselves standing in an unfamiliar dark environment known as the amulet world.
€œNormally, I€™d explain what€™s going on,€ Alec continued, his tone brisk.
€œBut I€™m in a hurry and won€™t have time to cater to your questions, hold hands with each other-I€™ll ensure you€™re teleported to the same place, when you arrive, look to these four to guide you.€ He gestured toward Arthur, Brandon, Agnes, and Knight, confirming what the newcomers had suspected, that the four had already been through this before.
€œIs there anything you€™d like us to know before we blindly jump into…whatever this is?€ Endrick asked, clearly clueless and slightly apprehensive.
Alec didn€™t bother with a detailed explanation, instead, he flicked his hand, and the massive second door of the Beast Forest detached from its position, and floated toward them.
As it loomed closer, Alec finally said, €œJust try not to die too quickly.€
The ominous remark sent their thoughts spiralling.
Sophia, in particular, was already second-guessing her decision to trust Alec for the second time that night, after her first doubts had been barely cleared earlier.
Before anyone could protest or ask further questions, Alec swiped his hand, and the gate expanded, transforming into a portal with a swirling, glowing entrance.
From nowhere, a gust of wind surged forward, pushing them all into the portal before they had time to react.

As the gate slammed shut and returned to its original position, Alec smiled faintly, this was one of the things he had learnt, and he was pleased with how effortlessly he could manipulate things in the amulet world, after all, in this realm, he was the sole master.
When Alec was done organizing his group, he summoned all his golems, splitting them into different teams.
Titan headed toward the second dimensional door on his own, flanked by his minions, Titan€™s goal was clear: to hunt down low- and mid-tier 6 demonic beasts in the icy regions.
After its recovery, Titan€™s strength had been growing rapidly, fuelled by absorbing the life force of ice-elemental beasts.
In the frozen tundra, where its attacks and movements were amplified, Titan seemed less like an invader and more like a predator thriving in its natural habitat.
As Titan approached the portal and it opened after he wished for the icy regions, a wave of chilly air seeped out, and that€™s something Alec just noticed a few days ago that titan could already project where he wanted to be teleported to.
Once Titan entered, the rest of the golems began moving.
Oni and Butcher were the next to head out, both were close to reaching the Tier 6 realm, but a few more levels of progress remained before they could break through the gaps.
The second team consisted of Sword Saint and Hunter, a peculiar combination, but Alec allowed his golems to decide their partnerships unless he was inside the battlefield with them to give direct orders.
The last pair to step through the portal were Hive Queen and Magnito, as they disappeared into the portal, the door shut behind them.
And Alec then turned his attention to Legion, who stood before him, awaiting orders.
€œHow do you feel, knowing you€™re about to enter the Tier 6 realm?€ Alec asked, smiling as he observed Legion, who had reached the very peak of the Tier 5 Mage Realm.
Alec had deliberately blocked Legion€™s experience points to prevent an uncontrolled evolution and the ensuing phenomenon, much like what had occurred with Titan.
€œI feel good, I can finally act smug around Titan again.€ Legion replied confidently, as Titan was the only golem he truly saw as a rival.
€œWell, I wouldn€™t say I approve of that,€ Alec said with a chuckle.
€œBut your increase in strength will definitely make me happy, especially considering your firepower.€ With that, Alec opened his system interface and communicated his thoughts to the system spirit, and a notification promptly appeared before him:
[Send all EXP points from the hunting party to Golem €˜Legion€™ until it evolves?
(Y/N)]
Without hesitation, Alec€™s hand slammed down on the Y button, immediately, a surge of mana from the amulet space gathered around Legion, enveloping him completely, and unlike the icy sphere that had surrounded Titan during its evolution, Legion was encased in something entirely different-a massive iron-like egg, its surface gleaming with raw energy.
[Evolution options available…].
