Chapter 779: Happy 1 Million Words To Golem Mage.
One by one, Alec’s golems began to materialize before him, first came Oni, emerging with a shroud of dark energy swirling around its form. Butcher followed, crackling with a surge of thunder upon arrival. Then came Hunter, Hive Queen, Magnito, Sword Saint, and finally, Titan.
The moment Titan appeared, the temperature in the area around him plummeted, as frost began creeping across the ground beneath his feet, coating the earth in a thin layer of ice.
“I will handle this,” Titan declared the instant he laid eyes on the horde of zombies lunging toward them.
“Don’t hog all the glory now, Titan. Leave some for your juniors,” Butcher remarked, breaking down his massive two-handed axe into a pair of one-handed versions, though smaller and less powerful than the original version of the Thunder Axe, but these dual axe weapons granted him enhanced speed, explosive agility, and the ability to seamlessly chain his attacks without much restriction on his speed.
“Stay out of my way.” Titan’s voice carried an unmistakable chill, without hesitation, he thrust a single punch forward.
A wave of freezing air surged forth, barrelling into the advancing zombies, the weaker Tier 4s were instantly frozen solid, their bodies encased in thick ice, while the sturdier Tier 5s were knocked backward by the sheer force of the attack.
[Ice Golem Summons – Emerge]
“Arise, my capable ice warriors, and carve your path in frost.” Titan’s voice echoed as glowing ice runes materialized in the ground that had been covered with frost, from them, massive hands of solid ice emerged, gripping the ground as hulking figures pulled themselves upward.
Within moments, ten colossal ice golems stood in formation, flanking Titan on either side, their towering frames, nearly as large as Mini-Giants or smaller Ogres, made for an almost comical contrast against their comparatively smaller leader.
But the humour was short-lived, as Titan’s body soon began to shift and expand, growing taller and taller until he finally stood just a bit above his newly summoned lieutenants.
Titan stood proudly at eight feet, towering slightly above his summoned golems, who ranged between 6.5 to 7 feet in height, his entire body was encased in an imposing ice armour, swirling with intricate ice runes that pulsed with a faint glow.
In his right hand, he gripped a long chain, its links forged from solid ice, running all the way to a massive spiked mace resting against the frozen ground, in his left hand, three elongated ice claws extended from his hand guard, giving him a fearsome, almost predatory appearance.
The weaponry bore a striking resemblance to an ice-forged version of Lynx’s weapon (for those familiar with Shadow Fight—if not, a quick search would clarify for the very curious ones).
As if his menacing presence wasn’t enough, Titan slowly swiped his left hand across his face, causing a half-ice mask to form, covering the side of his face where his half ice crown was levitating on.
While his uncovered face remained stoic and emotionless, the masked side bore a deep, frozen scowl, making it appear as if his very essence radiated cold fury.
Meanwhile, his summoned golems began conjuring their own weapons, massive heavy ice armaments forged from the frost itself.
Some wielded colossal ice axes and maces, others carried wide, blunt clubs and hammers, each one sculpted with brutal efficiency, one golem among them however, took a different approach, constructing a pair of ice shields.
The left shield was massive and broad, offering full-body protection, while the right shield was smaller, compact, and uniquely designed to shift between his hand guard and fingers, even allowing it to be thrown like a boomerang.
But their preparation wouldn’t go unchallenged, the zombies, having momentarily hesitated, were now gearing up to strike once more.
The only reason they had held back this long was due to the mental-type zombie leading the horde, which had grown increasingly cautious.
After all, it had not expected another Tier 6 golem to suddenly emerge from nowhere, and not just one Alec was now surrounded by an entire force of deadly, battle-ready golems, each exuding a presence that promised devastation.
The battlefield had just shifted, and it could sense it, this fight was about to become a whole lot more dangerous.
Though the Type 2 Mental Zombie held the numerical advantage, but it still didn’t feel secure with such a force against Alec’s group, after all, these weren’t ordinary humans, scratches and bites wouldn’t be enough to infect them or weaken them over time, making them far harder to eliminate, than human mages
In fact, even if the zombies managed to kill one of Alec’s golems, it would stay dead and wouldn’t rise again as an undead zombie, stripping the mental-type 2 zombies of one of their race greatest psychological weapons, the ability to break human spirits by forcing them to fight their reanimated comrades, for the first time, the Type 2 Mental Zombie itself felt the unfamiliar sensation of fear.
Desperate, it sent a message back to the Type 3 Mental Zombie, requesting reinforcements under the pretense of wiping out the enemy for good.
When the Type 3 Mental Zombie received the sound transmission, it frowned in frustration, it knew for a fact that it had already sent thirty Tier 6 zombies as part of the one-thousand-strong force that would be attacking Alec.
While the zombie horde was vast, Tier 6 zombies were not disposable resources either, diverting thirty of them had already eased the pressure on the Tier 6 human forces battling against the Mid-Rank Zombie Horde, giving them a moment to breathe, a mistake that could prove costly.
More frustratingly, its subordinate was suddenly panicking over a new set of summoned golems, from its own spiritual scans, the Type 3 Mental Zombie had already determined that only one of them was a true Tier 6.
Since it was positioned too far away it couldn’t sense the sheer pressure Alec’s golems were emitting but could only read their realms from afar, and it dismissed the threat.
As far as it was concerned, Alec and his ragtag team of summoned golems were still within the zombie army’s capability to handle, however, it wasn’t completely careless. Instead of ignoring the call for aid, it contacted another Type 2 Mental Zombie within the main zombie Mid rank army, instructing it to redirect five hundred more Tier 4 mutated zombies toward Alec’s side of the battlefield.

Now assured that reinforcements were coming, the Type 2 Mental Zombie raised its decayed, clawed hand and thrust it forward, giving the final command—
“Annihilate the mage in the center.”
The new kill command on Alec sent the zombie horde into a frenzy, their rotting forms surging forward like a relentless tide.
Yet, despite the sheer number of enemies, the other golems apart from Titan’s unit remained still, their gazes shifting toward Alec, silently questioning whether he would overrule Titan’s bold declaration.
But Alec simply waved them off, showing no intention of interfering.
Titan had claimed this battle for himself, vowing to handle a thousand-strong zombie squad with nothing more than ten summons at his side, as ridiculous as it sounded, Alec was intrigued.
Rather than stopping him, he wanted to see just how far Titan had come, he wanted to witness the full extent of his power, which was now on the verge of breaking reaching the High-Rank realm.
