Chapter 780: Titan’s Emotionless Killing Squad.
“Move out,” Titan commanded, his voice sounding like the grinding of glaciers, as his unit of ice golems advanced in unison, each step exuding an overwhelming, oppressive aura, as they moved, the Tier 4 zombies that had been frozen by Titan’s earlier attack crumbled into fine icy dust beneath their feet, as if they had never existed.
Bang!
The mutated zombies retaliated, a particularly fast Tier 5 agility-type zombie lunged at one of Titan’s lieutenants, the golem wielding dual shields by using its speed to its advantage. Its claws slashed forward in a blur, aiming to tear through the ice construct.
Clang!
The ice golem raised its broad left shield, allowing the zombie’s claws to scrape against the surface, the screech of bone claw against solid ice was unbearable, but before the zombie could follow up, the golem struck back, a swift, low uppercut aimed at its jaw, but the zombie barely managed to dodge, twisting its body out of reach.
Boom!
But before it could regain its footing, the golem slammed its larger shield forward, sending the zombie flying backward; without hesitation, it resumed its slow, relentless march, completely unfazed.
And it wasn’t just this golem, every single one of Titan’s ice warriors was locked in battle, yet not a single step of their formation wavered, it was as if the attacking zombies were incapable of halting their advance.
Behind them, the battlefield was left in ruin, blood splattered against an ice-coated path they had created, broken bodies littering the frostbitten ground.
A particularly unfortunate zombie that had leaped toward Titan found itself caught in his outstretched left hand.
Frost rapidly spread over its head, creeping over its decayed flesh, turning it brittle, before the creature could even struggle, Titan’s grip tightened—
Crack!
Its skull shattered like glass, the frozen brain matter reduced to mush, without breaking stride, Titan flung the lifeless corpse aside and delivered a crushing uppercut to another zombie flying toward him.
His ice claws impaled the creature mid-air, suspending it in place as it flailed helplessly, still, Titan never stopped moving, step by step, he pushed forward, his golems trailing behind him, methodically keeping pace as they carved through the horde with the same unyielding, glacial momentum.
The zombie ensnared in Titan’s ice claws was a Hunter-Type 2, one of the most versatile and deadly mutated zombies, but here it was, groaning in agony, its insides freezing over at an alarming rate.
Desperate to take its opponent down with it, the Hunter-Type zombie swung its tail, its limb laced with deadly toxins and a highly infectious zombie virus, but before it could strike, Titan merely flicked his hand to the left.
With that simple motion, the Hunter-Type zombie’s body was sent hurtling through the air, crashing toward the nearest ice golem wielding a massive ice club, no verbal command was needed, his underling understood Titan’s intention instinctively.
The moment the Hunter Type 2 zombie entered its range, the club-wielding golem adjusted its stance and swung—
Boom!
The impact shattered the Hunter-Type’s head in an instant, killing it on the spot. One strike. No hesitation. No wasted movement. A perfect synchronization between lord and summon.
Yet there was no time to pause for the rest of the squad while it was killing this zombie, the march forward had continued with the rest, and just as the club-wielding golem had finished executing Titan’s leftover prey, three mutated zombies lunged at him from different angles.
Before he could be caught in a precarious position, the dual-shield ice golem intercepted, by stepping in front of him and rotating its larger shield at an incredible speed, the motion not only deflected their attacks but also prevented the club-wielding golem from being forced into a vulnerable stance.
“Argh!” The club-wielding golem roared as it dashed from behind its defender, surging toward the dazed zombies that had been knocked back.
Before they could recover, it slammed its weapon down, crushing the skull of the closest one—instant kill.
Without missing a beat, it turned the attack into a fluid combo, hurling its club toward the zombie on the far right. Mid-air, the weapon erupted into massive spiked ice shards, impaling and instantly eliminating the second target.
Now, only one remained.
Despite having recklessly thrown away its weapon, the club-wielding golem didn’t falter, as the final zombie which had finally regained its senses opened its mouth to unleash a deadly projectile, but the golem clamped its left fist over its Jaws, crushing them shut before the attack could even be released.
It didn’t matter what kind of toxin, acid, or virus the zombie was about to spit out, there was no way the ice golem was going to give it the benefit of the doubt to attack, without hesitation, it froze the zombie’s mouth shut, its hand surging with ice elemental energy, encasing the creature’s lower jaw in thick frost.
Ensuring the threat was neutralized, the golem slammed its right fist into the zombie’s face, making it stagger backward.
Without giving it a chance to recover, the golem swiftly grabbed its neck, then swung it with tremendous force toward its fellow dual-shield ice golem, who still had its massive shield raised.

BANG!
The zombie’s head collided with the shield, causing a minor explosion upon impact. Yet, despite the force, the shield-wielding golem didn’t so much as flinch, standing firm as if completely unaffected. A testament to its sheer strength and durability.
But its companion wasn’t done yet. In a blur, the club-wielding ice golem appeared behind the dazed zombie, gripping its skull from behind—then slammed it into the shield again.
Once. BANG!
Twice. BANG!
Thrice. BANG!
Again and again, the golem repeated the brutal attack until the zombie’s skull ruptured, splattering brain matter across the icy surface of the shield.
“You got my shield tainted.” The dual-shield golem remarked in an almost casual tone, before turning away and resuming its march, eager to catch up with the rest of the unit still carving through the battlefield.
As it advanced, it suddenly swung its right arm forward, launching its smaller shield like a spinning disc, the projectile whizzed through the air, impaling a zombie approaching another ice golem from its blind spot.
By the time the shield boomeranged back into its hand, the golem had already cast a cleansing spell, and its larger shield began absorbing the surrounding icy air, restoring itself as the blood and brain matter vanished completely.
The battlefield around Titan and his summons had transformed into an Ice Domain, the more icy attacks they unleashed, the more the frost spread, thickening the air with accumulated ice energy
With this ever-growing cold, the golems could manipulate the frost itself into energy, using it to cast offensive spells, reinforce their defences, heal their injuries, and even recreate their weapons and armour if damaged, though reconstruction took longer unless they willingly sacrificed a portion of their mana reserves.
But that wasn’t the most important revelation, what truly mattered was that Alec finally understood why Titan had been so confident.
From the moment Titan had been summoned, his Ice Domain had been passively active.
Alone, Titan’s icy aura was already formidable, but he was just one ice golem, even with his immense strength, his individual ice energy output had limits, and was just a speck of cold air that surrounded a few meters around him.
However, now that he was surrounded by eleven ice golems, each radiating their own frost, the Domain around them had become a generator of pure icy energy, a relentless storm of freezing power that only grew stronger with every passing second, the ice domain was evolving by itself.
