The Golem Mage - Chapter 79
Chapter 79: The Leader of Lanzt Family In the Shadow Chapter 79: The Leader of Lanzt Family In the Shadow The Gordons family patriarch quickly went to City Hall to ensure he answered the city lord on time.
If all, he always wanted to leave a good impression.
But on getting there, he realized he was not the only one given an invite as he could see the patriarch of other clans and families waiting in the large hall waiting for the city lord.
He kept surveying everybody until his eyes landed on the person representing the Lanzt family.
And his pupils almost bulge out of their sockets.
“Who do we have here?
It’s old man Bailey,” George Gordons said with telepathy, which connected to Bailey’s plant after he got past his surprised emotion, and the man named Bailey turned in his direction, locating him instantly.
“Hmmm, so you still respect the elders, Gordons boy.
I heard you shamed my son a few days after I was out of seclusion, ” the old man Bailey said as he stroked his long beard.
The patriarchs around looked between them as they could feel the slight frequency being transferred between them, so they were sure they were talking with telepathic messages.
They were curious about what two strong men in the Tier 7 realm were discussing.
They were not ready to disrupt the free, which could lead to two strong enemies.
After all, no one loved having their secret conversations being spied on.
“Have some shame, Bailey.
You are only a few years older than me; you are not my elder, and except for that, we are both in the same realm, so I don’t see where this seniority complex comes from,” George Gordon snorted.
“You punk, you call 30 years just a few years.
I think you need treatments,” Bailey said as he flung his head in another direction to show his displeasure at being unable to claim superiority.
After all, they were both Tier 7 mages, leaving little room for respect.
“Don’t take it to heart, though; why are you here anyway?
I thought you already left everything to your tier 5 son, and he is the new patriarch,” George Gordons said
” hmmm, your voice seems to have some type of toxicity to it, but never mind, and I would like to announce that the reason I am here is that that son of mine got an inspiration in the recent blood moon and is trying his best to break through to the next realm which means my family would now have a Tier 6 mage,” Bailey Lanza said
“You have tried to build a family from scratch and make it big with many members.
You should be proud.” George gave an unexpected compliment, which shocked Bailey.
After all, he had been expecting The Gordons patriarch to continue with his toxic behavior, so when the comment came, he was unprepared for it.
Some people call the plant family a clan, but that was because of him, who had a Tier 7 realm.
His family was still a long way from being able to compete with those clans who had many members and old heritage, so in a sense, I was still a family until they had up to four Tier 6 mages.
However, he was a Tier 7 mage and could even deal with five Tier 6 mages, but that was his strength and not of the family.
That was why he was pleased his son was breaking through; he just knew if they could stay in an alliance with the Gordons family, then in a few years, they might become a big clan after all his descendants had extraordinary talents.
“Well, you, too, are a great man.
You brought the Gordons family to what they are now; your father would be proud of you,” Bailey said in the past when George was still young and hot-headed.
“Nah, you know that was all my dad’s work.” George shrugged his shoulders.
“You always push the credit to that man.

We all know your father was a great man but could not reach the potential that was meant for him due to his internal injuries, and that was why he tried to have many children”.
“As he saw you all as his legacies, that would usher in a new beginning and do what he couldn’t, bringing the Gordons family to another level.
Y all were his pride, and he always bragged on how unique all his boys were, and that was why he never thought twice about sacrificing himself for you all back then when that peak Tier space gate was formed near us.
” the moment Bailey said those words it made George flinch.
It was a memory he never wanted to remember, but hearing it from someone else just seemed to stir an unknown storm inside him.
“But we all know you took the Gordons from a family to a clan, and you should not deny yourself credit for that,” Bailey continued.
“I had help from someone more ma.
If it were only me, I would have broken down when my dad died a long time ago, ” George said as he thought of his second brother, the grand elder of the Gordons family, who always did the dirty work and necessary things to make sure the Gordons family stayed alive.
“He would be so proud of what you all have become, eight sons!
Woah, your father was a horse,” Bailey joked in between encouragement.
Just before they could continue their conversation, someone entered the room, allowing all the patriarchs to look up to him.
“Good day, everyone.
I am sorry to have called you all on short notice, but what I want to discuss with you all could not be delayed as it’s of utmost importance that we come up with an answer soon enough.”
“And what is that, Mr.
Dragonmir?” the Patriarch of the Darkbliss clan asked in an eerily voice, making most people look in his direction.
They couldn’t get the shivers away anytime they were close to him; the Darkbliss Patriarch was versed in shadow, dark, and curse elements, which practically made others dread.
“Oh, it’s about which decision we should take on the two Tier 3 Cities who want to stay in our city in the time and merge with us until the capital provides support.” The city lord finally dropped the bomb.
The look on each pa face door differs, but they mainly needed clarification about the development of things.

Alec sat on the roof, watching the gang meditate on their path techniques and the golems crowding over Titan, asking him to summon his minion ice golems that could fight for him.
Alec smiled at the peaceful atmosphere and Placed his two hands behind his head as he leaned on the roof, closed his eyes, and allowed the sun to shine on him.
And the next moment, he found out that his sense of sound seemed to have been disconnected.
He could not hear any single sound at all, and when he opened his eyes, he saw the Grand elder before him.
“We need to talk, boy,” the grand elder said
“Oh…
about what?” Alec asked casually as he looked around and noticed he was still where he was sitting, but the funniest thing was that he Could only hear the voice of the grand elder and no one else, and that scared him shit.
“Don’t bother, as you don’t possess the ability to break out of my domain,” the grand elder said as he caressed his beard while waiting for Alec to be dazzled at his excellent acting, but he was perplexed when Alec asked the following question.
“What is a Domain?
Can it help me get above ranks when fighting,” Alec asked.
Grandelder: “…”
