The Golem Mage - Chapter 797
Chapter 797: Terra Sovereign Set Debut.
Alec might have dashed into the air first, but he wasn’t alone, a split second later, Titan and Legion followed, quickly catching up to him.
The streaks of flames, ice, and jet propulsion cutting through the sky toward the high-rank battlefield left many watching in shock, no one could quite grasp Alec’s intentions.
Below, Alec’s Tier 5 golems, along with those from Titan and Legion squads, surged forward to reinforce the Gordons’ mid-rank mages, increasing their Tier 5 numbers by a staggering twenty-six, the realization that Alec alone could provide the equivalent of twenty-six top-tier 5 realm combatants was a wake-up call for the other forces observing him for the first time.
They were witnessing first-hand the rise of a mage who would soon earn the title One-Man Army.
“Master sent me to deliver a message, he says you don’t have to hold back anymore, the battle is nearing its end, now is the time to unleash chaos.” Oni whispered stealthily beside Brandon.
Brandon’s eyes gleamed at those words, all this time, he had watched Agnes, Arthur, Knight, Sophia, and even Endrick dominate the mid-rank battlefield while he remained in formation, focusing on keeping the mages of his clan alive.
But now, Alec was giving him permission to go all out, it felt like a weight had been lifted from his shoulders, though he had no problem leading his clan mages, ensuring their survival, but deep down, he had realized something after leading for the first time.
He wasn’t a general, he was a fighter, and he had spent too long standing behind others, giving orders, while the enemy constantly tried to take his head, recognizing him as the strategist of the Tier 5 Mage group, but now? Now, it was his turn to fight.
He despised the idea of using others as a shield just so he could issue orders from the safety of formation.
That wasn’t the kind of leader he wanted to be, he didn’t want to stand behind, calculating moves, he wanted to be at the front, leading the charge against the zombies, fighting with his blade, dictating the flow of battle with his own life on the line.
Just like Alec had done against the Tier 7 mutated zombie.
And he wasn’t the only one who felt that way, right now, Alec had become more than just a commander, he was a spiritual leader to the Gordons’ mages on the battlefield, his decisive action in eliminating a high-rank foe had cemented his image in their hearts, as many of them wanted to follow in his footsteps, to fight as he did.
“Ahhhhh!” Brandon roared, as brown tattoos began to surface across his skin, his spirit equipment swiftly materialized, encasing him in the Terra Sovereign Set.
The moment his armour fully formed, a dangerous pulse of mana erupted from his body, drawing attention from nearby zombies, to them, he was now a beacon of high-source vitality.
As five Strength-type zombies—ranging from Low Tier to Peak Tier 5 immediately dashed toward him, the Gordons’ Tier 5 mages instinctively moved to form their shield formation, preparing to intercept.
“Stay clear. These ones are mine.” Brandon’s voice was firm.
The surrounding mages hesitated for only a moment, but Alec had drilled them well to never disobey the Tier sub-leaders unless Alec himself countered their orders, so without hesitation, they spread out, giving Brandon the space he demanded.
This sudden shift in the Gordons’ formation didn’t go unnoticed by those watching, even Arthur and Knight, positioned at the edge of the Gordons formation cutting down strays, glanced back.
The moment they saw Brandon fully clad in his spirit armour, they exchanged knowing smiles.
“Took you long enough,” Arthur commented as he swung his blade, intercepting a Type 2 Agility zombie that lunged at him with dual silver blades.
His strike lodged deep into the creature’s neck, but instead of stopping, he followed up with a swift kick to its knee, the impact shattered the mutated zombie’s kneecap, forcing it to the ground and giving Arthur the perfect opening to complete his swing, decapitating it in a single motion.

Brandon, on the other hand, simply swiped his right hand forward, in response, five massive cones of sand erupted from the ground, their pointed tips locking onto the charging Strength-type zombies, as they dashed forward, the cones mirrored Brandon’s hand movements, spinning at incredible speed.
Bang!
A thunderous explosion shook the battlefield as the attack struck, the cones weren’t just fast, they were devastating.
Two of the Strength-type zombies didn’t even have time to react before their heads were obliterated on impact.
The other three fared only slightly better, one lost a massive chunk of its torso, while another had half its side blown apart, the last, though luckier than the others, only had its left arm completely severed when the cone struck.
Pain rippled through the zombies, since their evolved consciousness registered the damage, one of the remaining zombies moved its muscles throbbing, roared as it charged forward, throwing a punch with its remaining right hand.
The arm visibly swelled, veins bulging as power gathered within it.

Brandon who remained unfazed, raised his left palm to meet the attack head-on.
Boom!
A shockwave blasted outward as their strikes connected, sending dust and debris flying, the mutated Strength zombie’s eyes widened in shock. It had expected a massive explosion upon impact, yet nothing happened, except for the shockwave, it felt a deep, growing dread as it stared at the mage before it.
It knew it had landed a clean hit, but in the last moment, it had felt something… something draining part of the force behind its punch. And whatever power remained, the mage before it had taken it head on like it was nothing.
Its skill wasn’t meant to be easily contained, it didn’t differentiate between friend and foe, and every time it used that attack, the main target would take the brunt of the damage, but the residual energy would always spread outward in a devastating shockwave.
Yet this time, only the shockwave had been released, leaving the surrounding Gordons clan mages and golems completely unscathed, that meant only one thing, the mage before it had absorbed the attack’s full force with ease.
For Strength-type zombies, which prided themselves as the pinnacle of raw power among zombie evolutions, this realization was shattering, as the human before it wasn’t just strong; he was overwhelming it completely.
Recognizing that it had no chance of winning in a direct fight, the zombie resorted to another tactic, it opened its mouth wide, revealing rows of decayed yet dangerously sharp teeth, lunging forward in an attempt to bite Brandon.
But Brandon had already noticed the glow of his Titanbound Hand Guard.
A third of its intricate carvings had lit up, signalling that it had stored energy from his previous block, clad in his Spirit Equipment Set, he felt an immense surge of power so much so that these zombies no longer even seemed like a challenge.
Without hesitation, he swiped his hand, slamming the zombie’s open mouth shut with a forceful slap before it could sink its teeth into him, the dazed creature barely had time to react before Brandon’s fist was already before its eyes.
“Release,” he commanded.
Using his left hand to grip the mutated zombie’s shoulder, he positioned his right hand before its face and unleashed the stored energy absorbed from the zombie’s earlier attack.
Boom!
A ring-shaped blast of kinetic energy erupted from his hand guard, shooting straight through the zombie’s skull, the creature froze, its entire body trembling as the destructive force tore through its head, killing it instantly.
Even as Brandon held onto the lifeless corpse, the remaining zombies watched in horror, a wide, smouldering hole gaped in their fallen comrade’s head, thin wisps of smoke rising from the burnt remains of its brain.
With a small thud, Brandon released his grip, letting the body drop unceremoniously to the ground, then, without hesitation, he turned his gaze toward the last two.
“Three down, two to go.”
Brandon had finally unveiled his true strength, which is further augmented by his new Spirit Equipment.
His display of power instantly placed him on the radar of those keeping an eye on the Gordons clan, after all, someone who could eliminate Tier 5 enemies with such ease had no business remaining an unknown figure in Estonia City.
