The Golem Mage - Chapter 805
Chapter 805: The Team’s Progress 2.
Just thinking of sucking blood from a young lady like her was like a drug to them, but as the two Tier 6 noble vampires closed in within thirty meters, the eyes of the flaming swordsman, which had been dull, suddenly lit up with life.
As Colour radiated back into his pupils as Beatrice tapped his shoulder, and a mana string appeared, linking them together.
[> Mid-Tier Spell + Skill – Flaming Arc Slash <]
In one smooth motion, the flaming swordsman unsheathed his sword and performed a swift, mesmerizing sword dance.
As a surge of searing orange flames engulfed the vampires lunging toward him, in the next instant, he stood precisely thirty meters away from his previous position, his blade still ablaze.
Those watching were stunned to see the Tier 6 noble vampires, no less beheaded in an instant with their bodies burning.
They were formidable opponents, yet the flaming swordsman puppet had not only overpowered them but done so effortlessly with the speed they seemed so proud of, his Mid-Tier 6 aura radiating with dominance.
Beatrice tapped on the coffin atop the wooden spider’s back and said,
“It’s time to get a new form.”
—
While Beatrice of the War God Academy team had made a dramatic return to the Northern Kingdom after the incident at the capital, she wasn’t the only one fighting in the Blood Moon Battle at the capital.
On the west gate, another set of War God Mage Academy members dazzled the capital’s forces.
Their names were Pale Zero and Kate Colossus.
Pale, upon returning to the Zero Clan, had been trained like one of their elite, as promised by the clan patriarch, the once-contentious matter of his variant ice had been laid to rest, and the head enforcer no longer sought to remove it after being reprimanded and punished by the zero clan’s Patriarch.
Now, the clan viewed Pale as a future pillar, placing him alongside their most promising young elites.
However, not everyone welcomed him, many core family children, who had trained as elites since birth, resented the sudden inclusion of an outsider in their ranks.
But again, it was the patriarch’s decision, so they could only bottle up their grievances and watch as Pale advanced in leaps and bounds.
Kate, on the other hand, had now been chosen as the heir to her father, surpassing all her once-favoured brothers.
Being a girl in the Colossus Clan meant she had to work twice as hard just to be recognized, yet even then, her father, the patriarch, had dismissed her potential, sending her to the War God Mage Academy instead of an esteemed Royal Mage Academy at the capital, believing she wasn’t worth investing in, and he feared she would bring shame to the clan if she was that close.
But now, when people spoke of the War God Academy team, her name was always mentioned.
And when they asked which clan she hailed from, the answer was always the Colossus Clan.
That alone had thrust a once-deteriorating High-Tier Clan back into the limelight, and clans that had once regarded the Colossus Clan as insignificant were now eager to curry favour, bearing gifts in hopes of aligning themselves with a family that could soon rise in prominence—all because of Kate.
Realizing this, Kate’s father finally turned his focus toward nurturing her, and so, both Kate and Pale stood together, fighting at the west gate.
They battled side by side.
Kate was clad in a Tier 6 spirit equipment set, crafted specifically for her, though it surpassed her current peak Tier 5 Mage Realm, but she proved that she was strong enough to wield it without any major drawbacks.
The only limitation was that she couldn’t access its full augmentation, as she had yet to reach Tier 6.
This set had been custom-made to her preferences, her father sparing no effort in mending their strained relationship.
But to Kate, it didn’t matter, all she wanted was to grow stronger, strong enough to never be a burden again, as she once had been in the War God Mage Academy team.
She still felt like she hadn’t contributed enough, but she never forgot Alec’s last words to them as a team after the capital issue.
“We all accomplished this together, you should all know that without a single one of you, this wouldn’t have been possible. But today, we’ve shown everyone in the capital which academy truly deserves the title of the greatest despite the king’s verdict.”

“So don’t relent, fight harder, grow stronger, and return as mages worthy of the War God Mage Academy.”
Though Alec had meant those words as simple motivation, but even he often underestimated his own charisma.
His speech became a driving force for many, especially Kate, who took his words as a guiding principle.
She pushed herself harder than ever, determined to become strong enough for others to rely on her, even if it meant turning to her narcissistic father, a man who once believed only males were worthy of the Colossus Clan name.
With her super speed and super strength dual special ability, Kate dominated the battlefield.
As the resounding bang of her extra-large gauntlets echoed as she dashed through the chaos, leaving behind a golden blitz.
Watching from a distance, her father shook his head.
“I had such a gem right in front of me, and I was blind to it all this time. Hopefully, she keeps growing stronger, strong enough to lead and elevate our clan’s power even further,” the Colossus Clan patriarch muttered.
The pills Alec had given them had finally taken full effect, their residual energy pushing Pale, Lucas, and Beatrice toward new heights.
But Kate—Kate was a phenomenon, she seemed to have benefited the most, her focus on physical enhancement allowing her to absorb and utilize the energy differently.
She used it to strengthen her muscles, and as a result, she had mastered her newly awakened special abilities with remarkable fluency, her body finally reaching the perfect physical requirement, as she tore through the battlefield, blasting the heads of lizard folks.
Pale was the contrast to her raw power, more magic path than a fighter, as he pursued elegance in every kill.
Behind him loomed about a hundred ice shard spikes, and with just a swipe of his hand, he could send them flying.
After weeks of training, he had become adept at blending the black ice into his regular attacks, creating a hidden type of assault that could evade even the sharpest senses of the most observant mages.
As they would be too preoccupied with parrying the array of ice stakes coming at them to notice the true threat.
Many lizardfolk soldiers close to Pale had been transformed into beautiful black ice statues, after being impaled by the black ice.
The more they used their mana after being impaled, the faster it spread, consuming their energy and making them feel a heavy weight on them until they ultimately gave up and turned into ice figures.
Pale made sure to target those that had been hit specifically which fastened the process of them turning to stature.
A few strong and unique Tier 6 lizardfolk soldiers had managed to close the distance to Pale, but what awaited them was a cold burial as he was not just a magic path Mage but a decent battle mage as well and at close range the percentage of getting hit or scratched by the black ice was higher.
Together, Pale and Katie were swiftly making a name for themselves on the battlefield.
–
Meanwhile, in the central kingdom, the city of Curved edge, controlled by the Blades clan had just concluded its own Blood Moon battle, much like Estonia City.
But the members of the Blade clan appeared relaxed, as if they hadn’t just finished a war, even though they were still splattered with blood.
For them, war was a routine affair, and victories and losses were always left outside their gates, for the past year, the orcs had failed to breach those walls since the new patriarch took charge.
Today, the MVP of the Mid Tier battlefield had been Lucas, a surprise to most of the clan members, cause unlike the elders of the Blades clan, who had gone to watch the competition in the Northern Kingdom, many clan members were still unaware of how strong Lucas is until today, and they were astonished to see a mage as powerful as the Blade Prince and the Ten Blade Stars.
Lucas sat atop a small hill formed by the bodies of orcs, his glaive embedded in the torso of a massive orc, as he supported himself with his right hand while resting his left arm on his knee.
His spirit equipment was stained red with blood, but he paid it no mind as he gazed into the horizon.
He had finally entered the Tier 6 mage realm and felt an eager anticipation to battle Alec soon, not only him, but Beatrice, Pale, and Katie also wanted to face Alec and see how much they had improved compared to their extraordinary captain.
Despite simply sitting there and not concerning himself with the titles bestowed upon the exceptional members of the younger generation of the Blades clan, Lucas was unaware that he was gradually being recognized as one of the Blade Stars.
He had begun to be referred to as the Eleventh Blade Star, known as Lucas the Glaive Berserker.
