The Golem Mage - Chapter 815
Chapter 815: The New Quasi Lords 3.
With the addition of these three breaking into the Tier 6 realm, Alec now had five of his main golems at that level, leaving only three still stuck at Peak Tier 5 realm.
He then ordered them to summon their minion golems and quickly noticed something, Oni no longer needed dead bodies to summon his Oni Shinigami army.
However, there was still a minor issue, while Oni could call on his existing Shinigami, he definitely still needed fresh corpses to create new ones, and at the moment, he only had five subordinates, remnants of the old group, the difference this time was that every single one of them had advanced to Low Tier 5, as their limits of Peak Tier 4 realm had shattered the moment their leader stepped into Tier 6 realm.
Though they were still recognizable as the red and blue Oni Shinigami reapers, they now wore proper body armour, and their spirit weapons seem to have been significantly upgraded to match their new realm.
As for Butcher, his Storm Knights were a legion of iron golems whose bodies were shaped like medieval knights, and each of them possessed a hybrid core, a fusion of lightning and wind elements, this is another successful experiment of the system.
The cores, which were glowing with a bluish-green hue, were embedded in the center of their metallic chests, allowing them to command both elements in battle, while Oni’s Shinigami onis gave off a bloodthirsty, savage aura, Butcher’s knights radiated unity and domination, each wielding different weapons as they encircled Tempest Butcher like a loyal band of knights of the round table surrounding their king, crackling with lightning and wind.
Meanwhile, Hive Queen’s minions struck a different impression altogether, her Arachne spawn were composed, silent, and deadly.
Each one had eight bladed lower limbs and a human-like upper body, their cold stares sharp and unsettling, unlike their queen, their pale, flawless skin resembled delicate porcelain making it looked like they have been created from tempered glass, and their haunting beauty made them appear both ethereal and monstrous all at once.
They all wielded blades that were in strange, unconventional shapes, yet every weapon radiated the same lethal intent.
The Arachne closest to the Hive Queen carried a pair of scimitars, their hooked ends gleaming like fangs dipped in darkness.
The blades were pitch black, as though forged in the depths of some endless abyss, the way they surrounded the Hive Queen was unlike anything Alec had witnessed before, these were her elite guard, after all the system’s name for them were – Queen Guards, and some of them were noticeably bulkier than the others, leading Alec to guess they were the larger spiders once were responsible for her defence during earlier battles.
Now, having evolved into captain-ranked Arachne under the Hive Queen’s command, they still followed their old roles.
The bulkier ones acted as tanks, clad in thick, jagged black armour and wielding massive swords that could cleave a man in two.
Then there were the lean, agile ones dressed in light black armour, carrying short swords, daggers, and other close-range weapons , clearly the assassin class. Alec saw their build, and they made him reminisce about the small bluish-black spiders that drained mana and exploded upon death.
Lastly, there was a new group of five that didn’t quite fit into either category.
They seemed to be a balanced mix of both, neither too bulky like the Tank Arachne nor overly slender like the assassin Arachne, and Alec decided to classify them as the Arachne Warrior Class.
As not only did they possess a blend of strength and agility, but they also radiated a sharper, more commanding presence than the others.
Their armour struck a perfect balance between heavy and light, and though muscular, their builds retained the sleekness of the assassin type. Alec noted that even the Arachne closest to the Hive Queen, her right hand — seems to belonged to this class, reinforcing his suspicion that these warriors were the true leaders of the fifteen.
The warrior Arachne were hybrids, a perfect blend of both classes and all five of them dual-wielded weapons.
Three in particular stood out, each pairing a short blade with a longer one, as if deliberately combining the precision of the assassins with the brute strength of the tanks.
In his mind, he mapped it out clearly, fifteen captain-rank Queen Guards divided into three classes, five in each – Tanks, Assassins, and Warriors. And it was clear to him that when these fifteen moved in unison, they could easily dismantle an entire squad of mid-tier opponents without breaking formation.
Just seeing this made Alec feel a deep sense of pride and satisfaction at how far his golems had progressed, but while he was pleased, he knew the work was far from over, he still needed to help Magnito, Hunter, and Saint break into the Tier 6 realm as well, and there was no time for rest.
And that was without considering his own situation. He’d been intentionally holding back from breaking through to the Tier 6 Mage realm suppressing his Mana flow to a stop and refining his physique instead with the mana in his body, deliberately avoiding even summoning his fire element in the past day for the fear of triggering its evolution into the manipulation stage.
Alec wasn’t ready for that pain yet, for now, the priority was clear – bringing all his golems into the Tier 6 realm was the mission that mattered most.
After having a feast of the sight before him, Alec ordered his golems to recall their summoned minions before storing them back into his spatial pouch.
He returned to his room, ready to surrender himself to sleep, not only was he eager to go back into the amulet world to reap the benefits of having six Tier 6 golems leading their squads through the second level of the Beast Forest hunting, but he was also exceptionally curious about what rewards awaited him from the zombies he’d fed to the Primordial Ancient tree the day before.
It was time to harvest his spoils, and those were the thoughts lingering in Alec’s mind as he drifted off, his consciousness slowly pulled into the world of the amulet, which glowed on his chest silently as Alec connected to it.
