Chapter 846: Out.
While many students waited eagerly for the Gordons to return to the academy, a week passed with no sign of them.

And it was only then that word spread , that they had sent a letter requesting a few more weeks at their clan before resuming.

Such leave requests were usually difficult to approve, requiring several levels of clearance, but from the mood within the academy, it was clear the Gordons’ request met no resistance. That was thanks to a business agreement Alec had struck with the logistics hall, which had effectively paved his way without obstacles.

Even the faction which is known for opposing anyone linked to the punishment hall chose to back off, as they didn’t want to jeopardize the budding relationship between the logistics department and the Gordons, as it promised benefits for them too.

Meanwhile, contrary to what the academy students believed, the Gordons weren’t enjoying a leisurely break.

Alec had emerged from closed-door cultivation and started issuing commands for one reason, he wanted to lead them into another Blood Moon War.

This time, however, it wasn’t just about harvesting a large amount of experience to boost his power now that the Gordons mages would always be under his command.

But because Alec had realized that by participating in the war, he could extend his clan’s exemption period time to fight further.

Currently, the Gordons have a three-month exemption from any blood moon related battle after being named MVPs in the last battle, earning them an extra month beyond the standard one exemption.

Their performance had been so outstanding that even the City Lord couldn’t force their return to the battlefield if they chose to remain on break.

But Alec had bigger plans, he was determined to lead the Gordons into battle again not just for victory, but to earn another MVP title and stretch their exemption to five months.

And he was confidence enough to make that happen, as he was certain the Gordons Clan could dominate once more with the new strength he and his inner circle had now.

But Alec had no intention of informing the city that he was preparing to fight, not when his clan now held all the leverage and the city lord knows at this moment he was short handed as many clans which fought previously would be taking their break now leaving the city defences group to a bunch of amateur clans with no deep experience.

So Alec preferred to wait and see if the City Lord would attempt to rope them in with a formal plea. Only then would he put his plan into motion.

Though the Blood Moon War was fast approaching, many clans that had won the bidding war still remained confident in case battle comes their way.

This was largely due to the introduction of the Undead Purge Pill, which gave them hope that as long as they stayed alive and endured if they are infected, then survival was assured once they swallowed the pill.

This sense of security and confidence was the direct result of the Gordons’ auction, which had made them the hottest topic in the entire city.

Now, with just a few days left before the Blood Moon, night had fallen over the Gordons Clan.

With most of the clan’s mages, those who had been continuing their training following Alec’s methods despite their daily responsibilities had gone to rest.

Balancing rigorous duties with intense training, even for a short period, was exhausting and they were learning it the hard way.

But Alec and his inner circle weren’t even thinking about sleep. Their secondary training was just beginning.

Alec sat at the center, surrounded by his core team, every one of them radiating the powerful aura of a Tier 6 mage.

No one at the academy could have predicted such a development, no matter if they were given hints.

So since they couldn’t challenge the members of War God Mage team who were currently in the academy, the students of the War God Mage Academy turned their attention to speculating about the strength and realms of the others who had yet to return.

Many assumed that the absent Gordons mages hadn’t even reached Peak Tier 5 yet, believing most were either Mid or High Tier 5 at best.

None of them dared to believe that even a single one among them had stepped into the Tier 6 realm except from Alec .

To them, that level of rapid cultivation was simply unrealistic for youths from a Mid-Tier clan, many even argued that Katie’s position at rank eleven wasn’t justified, suspecting she had already surpassed some of the Gordons who hadn’t resumed yet.

They believed this because she was from a high-ranked clan and that her background gave her an edge over those from mid-tier clans.

But all those assumptions failed as : Agnes, Knight, Endrick, Sophia, Arthur, and Brandon , had each shattered the limits set upon them in the imaginations of the students.

And it was all because of one person: Alec Gordon, the one seated at the center of their formation.

Today, Alec had made it his goal to conquer the second door of the Beast Forest.

At his command, a branch of the Primordial Ancient Tree emerged from the space behind him, firing wooden spikes that impaled the surrounding mages, not to harm them, but to render them unconscious and pull them into the Amulet World.

–

Once inside, they awoke to find the world had once again expanded, the most noticeable change was what Alec no longer called a “mana pool” due to the fact that now it is a vast, flowing “mana river,” wide and teeming with potential.

With Alec’s breakthrough into the Tier 6 realm, new possibilities had opened up to him in the amulet world, expect from the time ratio to the outside world now increasing from 1:10.

Among them was the realization that he could rear fish and other aquatic creatures in this space.

To experiment, Alec halted his usual indoor cultivation and sent someone out to catch ordinary, unranked fish.

Despite their mundane nature, Alec didn’t care. He simply turned to the system spirit and asked if there was any way to transplant them into the Amulet World.

And his request was swiftly granted by the system as he could send the fishes into the Amulet World in exchange for a few system points.

Alec didn’t hesitate; as he was eager to see the results, by nightfall, when he entered the Amulet World, he was astonished to find that the once ordinary fishes had grown tremendously in size after spending time in the mana river. They now radiated a faint aura.

The following day, upon re-entering the Amulet World, Alec noticed the fishes were emitting mana-like energy, placing them firmly in the Tier 1 realm.

Just like that, he had unknowingly created his first set of spirit beasts.

Excited by the development, Alec tried summoning two of the enhanced fishes with his thoughts after leaving the Amulet World.

This time, there was no cost, and he cooked them, the rich aroma that drifted from his house was what caught the attention of his team, who immediately realized he was no longer i

n indoor training and without hesitation, they came to camp with him.
