The Golem Mage - Chapter 85
Chapter 85: Secret Meeting At The Fridall’s Chapter 85: Secret Meeting At The Fridall’s In the Fridall family’s Ancestral temple, a flame tunnel connected to their ancestor shrine, and the spatial elements in the void were attached to the flame tunnel, and a flash of light appeared.
A man walked out of the flame tunnel; he wore stylish red armor emitting a frightening fire element in energy, and every step the middle-aged man took made the ground melt, leaving scorched foot marks on the ground.
The patriarch of the Fridall family and the Fridall family elders present all bowed their heads to show respect towards the man when they saw him come out from the tunnel.
“Sir Blaze, we humbly welcome you to our clan!” the Fridall patriarch said as he cupped his hand in front of the middle-aged man who only snorted and looked at the elders in disgust as he scanned their realms without restraint and the elders of the Fridall family were all enrage by this but all kept qu when they remembered who was backing him.
“We have learned that you could not finish that small boy.
Are you all so incompetent that killing an ordinary Tier 1 mage is that hard for you, even though you hired others to do your dirty work?” the middle-aged man said in disdain.
“Our apologies, Sir Blaze, but I think your information is quite outdated because that kid is no ordinary Tier 1 mage; he is one of the strongest Tier 1 mages on this continent,” The Fridall patriarch said.
“What do you mean by that?
You all are all frogs inside a well, so you think he is impressive because he can beat a couple of Tier 1 mages ?” the Blaze messenger questioned arrogantly.
“Tier 1 mages?
( chuckles) your information is outdated, and I think you guys from the Blaze outer court family have quite underestimated Alec, who is someone with a pure bloodline of the Ancient Blaze family; just because your patriarch considers him a bastard doesn’t mean he is a weakling also ” one of the elders of the Fridall family who was wearing a robe said back in annoyance as he could not.
Held back in silence again, he was already frustrated at how the message from the Blaze family was treating his patriarch.
He even felt like striking him, but because of the colossal titan behind the messenger, he just had to clear that thought from his mind.
“Sixth!!!
Don’t speak again till the end of this meeting,” the patriarch said as he pointed at the elder who just spoke.
“Please let me apologize on his behalf, and don’t mind him, he is the new elder and does not know a lot of things,” the patriarch said to the Messenger from the Blaze family, in a hurry as he didn’t want the messenger to get angry and attack at all.
“No!!
On the contrary, I do want to hear more of what he has to say,” the messenger from the Blaze family said.
“That kid called Alec participated in the last Blood Moon battle and was exceptional; it was discovered that he even had a golem that could match a (low) Tier 3 goblin in the last battle, and he was also one of the major reasons we won in the last battle against goblins though we don’t know if that golem was lend to him to protect himself but we do know he is crazily strong ”
“You would have known if you had given at least a little attention to him, but you all believed that since he is supposed to be a bastard that does not live in the main clan, then he can’t amount to anything but am sorry to burst your bubbles he is a hazardous element, and am sure that his future reputation would sting the blaze family if anyone checks his past and realize his connection to the Ancient Blaze Family,” the Fridall youngest elder said.
“Oh, more reasons I want you to kill him.
Can’t you get it done?
We can increase the rewards a little more if that is what you wish, ” the messenger from the Blaze family said as he tried to push for more rewards in the hope of getting rid of this problem.
“(laughs out loud) The reward is not the problem, but we can’t kill Alec, or should I say it would take at least three clan experts from another Tier 3 city to settle him once and for all.”
“I can see you are the smart type, but from your suggestion, what makes you think you would succeed this time after you sent someone to do your dirty work once?
Does this not tell you one thing?”
“What?
” the Elder questioned.
“That if you want something done, then do it yourself, ” the Blaze messager replied.
But the Fridall elder shook his head at the suggestion; the Fridall patriarch was already lost.
He was the strongest Fridall and highest ranking member, but the elder he just appointed due to his brilliant mind and the fact that he always gave him good advice has already taken his over his position in negotiating, not that he minded he was just one he would get into something he could not resolve.
“We can’t kill Alec; the Fridall family doesn’t possess the ability to do so!”
“Are you scared of the Gordons family?
I thought you all were Tier clans; you can find a way to stall them till you kill Alec,” the Blaze messenger said.

“Hmm, like I said, your information is outdated; in the eyes of the public, the Gordons family is just an ordinary Mid clan, but we all in this city know they are way much stronger than that since we have fought countless blood moon wars by their sides.”
“They are hiding their main strength.
If you are right, they can contend against even the weakest High Tier clans.
Their patriarchs have already reached Tier 7 mage realm.”
“And apart from that, we need at least a peak Tier 4 mage realm to strike if we want Alec dead since even a Tier 3 mage won’t be able to kill him if he is focused on defending with his golems while he runs.”
“And last but not least, we would need at least four Tier 7 mages to hold the elders of the Gordons family when we go after Alec,” the Fridall elder concluded his explanation.
“That is impossible; that clan could not certainly hold that amount of powers,” the Blaze messenger said surprisedly.
“I have no reason to lie to you, even if you are from the outer court in the Blaze family.
I am sure your network information is better than ours.
Do your research and return when ready to talk to us,” the Fridall elder said.
The Blaze messenger looked to be in thought at all the new information he just received; his earlier arrogance was not to be seen again as he looked toward the patriarch.
“I will let you know our decision in the next four days.
We don’t care about the process.
We want the kid dead before the coming of age of our main young master.”
“So, what is your name?”
“Iván…
Iván Fridall,” The elder answered.
It’s supposed to be a gift; we won’t tolerate any failures again,” the blaze messenger said as he swiped his hand.
Another flame tunnel was created, and he walked inside and disappeared along with the flame tunnel.
“I guess you have an explanation for this too.” The patriarch looked towards the youngest elder, Fridall’s sixth elder.
“Yes, Father,” the elder replied; if the blaze messenger were here, he would have been shocked to realize that the elder was the patriarch’s only son.
