Chapter 111: [111 – The Beginning of Hell]
Jaxon sat inside the factory, alone, waiting for his men to bring in those bastards who had assaulted Vivian on Chloe’s command, along with Chloe who was most probably on her way to be delivered to him.
He checked his watch, knowing it would not be long now. Seraphina’s men were efficient, and they would be arriving with Chloe soon. He could already picture the fear in her eyes, the way her bravado, the mask of superiority that she wears, and that no-fear attitude that she carries knowing well that her father would save her in time, would crumble when she would realize where she was and what was about to happen.
The sound of tires crunching on gravel outside signaled the arrival of his guests. Jaxon straightened up, his heart pounding with anticipation. He stepped forward, arms crossed in front of his chest to greet his first batch of guests. First arrived those bastards who had continuously exploited his Vivian and were the reason behind her current state.
Four of them, being carried bye two men each, dragging the sinners to the chairs that awaited them and tied them up before stepping away. Even though there weren’t going to run away because the time that Jaxon had spent playing golf and boxing with those bastards, they were rendered unable to walk, so they were not going to escape anytime soon.
But, precautions are good.
After about 15 minutes later, the moment that Jaxon had been waiting for since years, finally arrived. The doors to the factory opened, bringing in his cherished possession.
Two men entered first, dragging a struggling figure between them. Chloe was blindfolded, her hands bound behind her back, but even in her disheveled state, she kept on struggling and whining about how her father was going to make them pay. She fought against her captors, her muffled cries of protest echoing through the room met only by silence.
“Where do you want her, sir?” one of the men grunted while looking at Jaxon for an answer.
Jaxon pointed out the place where he wanted Chloe to be. He wore a voice modulator device while the men worked on securing Chloe’s wrists and ankles to the chair with metal cuffs keeping the blindfold intact. The chains clinked as they tightened around her, and finally, the men stepped back, leaving Chloe alone in the center of the room.
“Is there anything else you want us to do?” one of the men question, turning to Jaxon.
Jaxon nodded, waving them off, “You can leave now. I’ll take it from here.” his voice sounding odd because of the modulator. He had to add it in because they were going to let Chloe live after all, so he was not going to take the risk of letting her recall his voice and identify him.
The men hesitated for a moment, exchanging glances, but Seraphina’s orders were absolute. They knew better than to question them. With a final nod, they exited the factory, leaving Jaxon and Chloe alone with the criminals whom Chloe had paid to harm Vivian
The silence was heavy, broken only by Chloe’s ragged breathing as she struggled to calm herself. Jaxon waited, enjoying the tension that hung in the air. He could feel her fear radiating off her, but she was still trying to hold on to some semblance of control.
Finally, he stepped forward, making his presence known. The sound of his footsteps made Chloe freeze, her head jerking toward him as if she could see through the blindfold.
“Who’s there?” she demanded, her voice wavering slightly. “What do you want from me?”
Jaxon circled her slowly, savoring the moment. “What I want?” he echoed, his voice a low, mocking drawl, “What do you think I want, little canary?” he asked using the nickname that Seraphina had given to her.
With a soft smile on his face, Jaxon did not wait or saying anything else before picking up a knife from the table where all the weapons were placed and stab it right through the center of Chloe’s hand causing her to scream and cry in pain, “I want you to suffer, Chloe. I want you to experience every ounce of pain and fear that you’ve caused others.” Jaxon added in a gentle voice, that was so unlike his actions while Chloe screamed and continued to cry in pain.
She flinched at the sound of his voice, her heart pounding in her chest as she struggled to move her hand but the knife was still embedded there, “I haven’t done anything to you,” she insisted, shivering because of the pain and fear, desperation creeping into her tone, “You’ve got the wrong person.”
Jaxon chuckled darkly, coming to a stop in front of her, “Oh, I don’t think so,” he replied. “You see, I am a very disciplined guy and I have done my homework well. I know exactly who you are and what you have done. And now, it’s time for you to pay the price.”
With a swift motion, he reached out and ripped the knife from her hand causing Chloe to let out a gut wrenching scream. She could feel her hot, wet blood dripping down her hand but she did not have much time to ponder about it as Jaxon stabbed her other hand the same way.
“Please…” she cried, all pretense of defiance gone, “Please, don’t do this. I promise, I would not tell anybody and my Dad can give you anything you want but please let me go!”
Jaxon’s smile widened, his teeth gleaming in the low light. “Oh, but Chloe, it’s already begun.” and he pulled out the knife from her hand, dropping it on the floor. The knife fell right beside her feet causing Chloe to shake and yelp in fear.
The other captive also shook in fear, knowing that their time was near and that soon they were going to die. No one dared to speak a word, and continued to shiver in silence.
Chuckling, Jaxon turned away, moving toward a small table set up with various instruments of torment, each one carefully chosen for its ability to inflict maximum psychological and physical pain without causing death. This wasn’t about killing her; it was about breaking her.
As he picked up the first tool, a long, thin blade designed for precision cuts, he glanced back at Chloe. She was visibly shaking with terror, her body trembling uncontrollably. She was on the verge of panic, and he relished it. Jaxon could imagine Vivian’s plight, she must have gone through a similar fear that Chloe was experiencing now.
For the first time in years, Jaxon’s heart felt lighter as he continued to inflict pain on those who took away his Vivi from him.
“This is going to be a long night,” he said softly, almost tenderly. “And by the end of it, you will wish you had never been born.”
Chloe’s sobs filled the room as Jaxon approached her, the blade glinting in the faint light. The sound of her despair was music to his ears, and he knew that this was only the beginning. He would make sure that every moment was etched into her memory, that every scream would echo in her mind long after tonight was over.
He began his work with a practiced hand, each cut precise, each word he spoke designed to burrow deep into her psyche. He didn’t need to raise his voice; the calm, methodical way he spoke was far more terrifying. Chloe’s resistance crumbled quickly, her pleas for mercy growing more frantic as the hours wore on.
But Jaxon was patient. He took his time, ensuring that Chloe felt every ounce of the pain she had inflicted on others. And as the night stretched on, he could see the first signs of her sanity beginning to fracture.

By the time he was finished, Chloe was a sobbing, incoherent mess, her mind teetering on the edge of madness. Jaxon stood back, admiring his handiwork. He had followed Seraphina’s instructions perfectly, he hadn’t killed her, but he had done something far worse. And to think, he had just began.
This was going to be fun.
As he wiped the blade clean and placed it back on the table, he felt a deep sense of satisfaction. Seraphina would be pleased, and Chloe, Miss Chloe Grayson would spend the rest of her life in a living hell, tormented by the memories of this night and the nights that were about to follow.
Jaxon walked to the door, casting one last glance at Chloe, who was now slumped in the chair, her sobs reduced to broken whimpers. He instructed his men to keep an eye on Chloe and others and make sure that neither of them dies. Not until he says so.
“Welcome to hell, Miss Chloe Grayson. This is just the beginning, I would make sure that you would beg me for death soon. But like Seraphina said, death is too easy for you.” he said softly to himself while watching Chloe from a distance, his voice filled with cruel amusement.
With that, he stepped out into the night, leaving Chloe alone in the darkness. The factory had claimed another victim, and Jaxon knew that her torment was only just beginning.
