Chapter 675: Klaus Meeting with Earth’s Strongest (2)
“Kathy, can you come closer?” Klaus asked, and Kathy nodded.

She walked closer to where Klaus was and turned to face all the Overlords and Grand Elders.

“She is beautiful, right?” Klaus asked with a smile. His cheeky question was received with smiles that lightened the mood further.

They were all smiling. Klaus wanted to clear the sour mood lingering in the room first before he moved to the next agenda.

Thankfully, it worked, so he asked.

“How many of you know she is not a human but rather a beast?” Klaus’s question and the smiles on the faces of all the overlords and Grand Elders were wiped clean.

The sudden mention of a beast among them made everyone become alert. Even Queen Lunara grew tense.

Perhaps now wasn’t the best time to talk about beasts around people who had just escaped a moon-infested environment.

They are sensitive toward beasts, so even hearing there is a beast among them without them noticing it was enough to shake their hearts.

“Relax, everyone. Kathy is not like the ones out there,” Klaus paused, “I take that back—the current Kathy is not like those out there. The Kathy here is my family and would not harm anyone.”

“How can you be sure of that?” Overlord Mira asked. She had every right to ask that, considering this was a beast they were all talking about.

“Well, she is in a contract of equals with my sister Hanna, so unless she is okay with dying, killing humans would be the last thing she would ever think of.”

“Are you telling us your sister managed to tame a beast at this level?” Grand Elder Ylthia asked, looking closely at Kathy.

“Indeed. And she will not be the last beast that will start walking among us. In fact, in the coming months, more beasts will start walking among us.

And don’t worry, they will not be monsters we all have to fear. I will be in charge of handling that because, although I don’t like to brag, I am the only one who can make beasts appear friendly.

Not even gods can boast of that. I am a one-of-a-kind, you see.”

Klaus smiled, causing Miriam and Queenie to roll their eyes. Even old Lu wanted to slap the back of his head for such a cheeky brag.

“Just who are you?” Queen Lunara asked, finally having enough of Klaus.

For the past week, she had seen and heard so much about Klaus that she started to wonder how someone like him could exist among mortals.

“You will know soon enough. But for now, why don’t we talk about the power of bloodlines?” Klaus said, turning to Kathy. “Do it.”

Kathy nodded, and at once, her body was covered in a golden fur that resembled metal. Then, a pair of metallic golden wings appeared behind her.

Instantly, her aura changed to the point that the Grand Elders and Overlords, who were nearing the peak, felt their strength being suppressed.

Klaus looked around the room and smiled.

“Thank you, Kathy. When you are ready, you can come for your reward,” Klaus said, making Kathy blush and deactivate her bloodline before sitting back down.

“What was that?” one of the Grand Elders asked.

“That, Grand Elders, is the power of a bloodline. I know all of you have your bloodlines locked, but I have no clear reason why.

But if you all were to awaken your bloodlines, then know that the chances of you becoming a better version of yourselves will be realized.

In a way, your bloodline is a part of you that has been locked away. However, just like everything else, I have a fix for that. Of course, I will finally allow you all to unlock your dormant bloodlines

But you will have to work for it first. However, I promise you all will become better versions of yourselves for what is to come.

As I said already, the world as we know it is in danger, and you will need every advantage to liberate it. So, aside from the soul bodies, your bloodlines are next.

Kathy has already awakened her bloodline, and with that, she has awakened her true self. This includes her Heavenly Constitution, which came with her bloodline.

Now, I know you all might start to wonder, so yes, the beautiful lady with the long ears you all saw a week ago has also awakened her bloodline, and even the lady sitting beside that bald monk has awakened hers as well.

Of course, those eyeing her should give up—she is also my woman.”

Klaus smiled along with Miriam, whose smile alone began affecting both the men and women in the room. She was covering her chest, making sure her melons were covered, but one had to admit, the lady was too beautiful.

“This is all good, Klaus, but why do you keep saying this world is in danger?” Queen Lunara asked. The others shared the same thought, so hearing her question, they all began to pay close attention.

“I know you all, at one point, wondered what this apocalypse is and why it came to us. This question can then be asked in a different format:

‘Where did the apocalypse come from, and why?'” Klaus said with a thoughtful expression.

“The answer is actually very simple.

It came from the universe, and the reason was to add this world to the large pool of worlds forming the universe.”

“You’re being serious, right?” Queen Lunara asked.

“I am. Ask yourself, if the lady with the long ears is known as an Elf, then doesn’t that mean there are Elves out there somewhere?” Klaus asked.

“I suppose so.”

“There are millions, if not billions, of worlds out there, most of which have yet to reach our level.

Now, what this means is that when the apocalypse, which was meant to usher us into the path of evolution, arrived, we started taking steps toward joining the universe.

Now, a day is coming when a great calamity will befall us, which, in the universe’s eyes, is a test to see if we are ready to be part of the universe.

I don’t know how it will come or when, but I have already started making plans to ensure all variables that can be weaponized will be neutralized, and that includes clearing the monsters down here and on the moon.

Also, we should make an effort to reach the planets closer to us, for we can never know what is hiding there until we get there.

Now, I won’t ask you all to take me seriously. I just want to share this with you and do my best to raise capable warriors for when the dangers arrive.”

Klaus took a deep sigh, and Queenie gently massaged his shoulder, showing him she had his back in all of this.

“If this was a few years ago, I would have stormed out of here and never returned. But things have changed, and now, I can’t think of any reason to doubt you.

So whatever plans you have, don’t hesitate to bring them on board.

I am a natural-born warrior. It’s in my blood, and so I will not hesitate to raise my scythe when the time comes to march into battle.”

Queen Lunara said, exuding the aura of a warrior.

[She is so sexy right now,] Klaus said to Queenie, Miriam, and Ohema through telepathy, causing them to all cough at the same time.

A smile appeared on his face.
