Chapter 680: Nirvana Rebirth
“What is going on?”
Someone asked among the thousands of battle-ready warriors as they waited for whatever was coming from the moon.
Considering it was now red, and from Earth, they could see two large wings spread out behind the moon.
Nobody knew what was happening, but they knew the two strongest on Earth were away, so it was probably them doing something.
But that was far from the truth.
Queenie and Queen Lunara were indeed on the moon, but aside from sitting back and watching a glowing red crystal hovering in the air, everything seemed fine.
Well, it’s not completely fine.
“The Lunar Beasts are coming,” Queen Lunara turned to her left and said, causing the ladies with her to draw their weapons.
“They are just Tier 8 and 9 Lunar Beasts; let me take the first offense.” Miriam flew into the air and drew the Sword of Tyranny.
She sped toward the beasts, stopping only when she was a few meters away.
There were hundreds of them, but she simply smiled and unleashed a single swing that sent countless sword lights cutting through the bodies of the monsters.
She didn’t stop there; she moved forward again, creating a new gap between herself and Nari, who had now been reduced to a Phoenix Heart.
“You ladies should be ready; we might get a bigger boss soon,” Klaus said, already alert for anything.
Nari’s Phoenix Heart was something that, if he knew nothing about her, he would also try to seize. The Phoenix Heart contains the blood essence of a phoenix.
In fact, aside from their blood essence, it also holds their everything within it. Absorbing it would first turn one into a powerful fire user if the phoenix was of fire.
However, the most important thing that perhaps made it even more valuable was the Phoenix Rebirth.
The Phoenix Heart contains a unique power, allowing a phoenix to rise from the ashes after they die. They call it Pheonix Rebirth.
This means that if a person, beast, or monster were to consume it, they would also gain this ability and experience a rebirth when they die.
This is something anyone would chase after. In fact, even immortals will be hungry for something like this.
Klaus knew the aura emanating from it would attract attention, so he was already a step ahead. This was the main reason he brought two Void Stage experts with him.
“We will be ready for them,” Queenie said, spreading her senses across the entire area, ensuring nothing escaped her detection.
Ten minutes later, Tier 10 beasts began to appear. Miriam, who had been slaughtering them, started to feel overwhelmed, but she refused to back down.
Her sword did the work, and her movements were always a step ahead as if she knew exactly where to move and when to swing her blade.
Her swordsmanship is rather impeccable.
“Hmm,” Klaus smirked when he suddenly sensed something. He took to the skies.
Queenie, Queen Lunara, and Ohema followed him.
A few seconds later, they stopped and gazed at a humanoid figure approaching the crystal in the air.
It was a gray-haired man with two horns on his forehead, a muscular build, and metallic skin. His demeanor is humanlike, but Klaus knows he is no human but a beast.
This Tier 11 Lunar Beast had chosen to make its appearance, aiming for the Phoenix heart.
“That is Hamrix, a Metal-skinned Mountain Goat, one of the Lunar Beasts with whom we have clashed several times over the years.

His minions are the ones dying over there,” Queen Lunara said, making Klaus nod.
“Turn around and go,” Klaus said in a commanding tone.
“The only reason we are warning you is because you are a beast and can reason. So you can tell the odds won’t be in your favor if we were to fight.
We also don’t want to create a scene here. So do well to take this advantage and go back, for it will end badly for you if you do otherwise.
It will be best if you listen to reason and go back”
Hamrix looked at the two ladies behind Klaus, then back at the red crystal, and silently left. He knew that if things were to escalate, it would not end well for him.
Klaus said it, and he could see it; the odds were stacked against him.
“If we come after them, I want to drive my sword through his heart,” Queenie said, watching the hateful Void Stage beast leave.
She had already marked him for targeting her sister during her evolution phase.
“He is not leaving. He is merely going to wait until we can no longer stop him. That is when he will return,” Klaus smirked. “I want them to relax, for today is more important to me than fighting. A battle now won’t end well for any of us.”
“Don’t worry, Klaus, we won’t let them have a chance,” Queen Lunara said. Just like her daughter, she was still standing without her weapon but was ready.
Klaus wanted to see her in action, but he would also be happy if this ended as quietly as possible.
“I will go help Miriam,” Ohema said, knowing things could get chaotic. She moved toward Miriam.
When she landed on the ground, purple poison burst out of her body, instantly reducing all the Lunar Beasts to dust.
“Thank you,” Miriam said, catching her breath before moving again.
Ohema followed, and just like that, they began killing the beasts, who never seemed to learn that the crystal in the air was protected.
Two Void Stage experts, One Ascendent and a transcendent, were protecting the crystal. As for Klaus, he was not someone whose strength could be measured at the moment.
Twelve hours passed, and thousands of beasts had been slaughtered.
Queenie joined in when Miriam and Ohema grew tired. It went on for two whole days, with the three ladies switching every hour to preserve their energy.
Klaus and Queen Lunara didn’t move, remaining alert and ready for the dangers lurking nearby.
Thankfully, none of the six Tier 11 beasts that tried to come after the Phoenix Heart trusted the others enough to form an alliance, so they did not want to face two Void Stage experts.
Klaus noticed all of them were between the 3rd and 6th stages, making them stronger than Queenie and her mother. However, if both of them joined forces, they could handle them.
They were also afraid of being stabbed in the back by the others, so they only came, observed, and then retreated to hide.
A few hours into the second day, powerful red energy shot out of the red crystal and extended to the heavens, bringing with it a presence so strong that it pushed everyone back.
“It’s starting,” Klaus said with a smile as clouds began to form.
“Oh my,” Queen Lunara mouthed as the clouds, engulfed in flames, started burning fiercely. In fact, the heavens were bathed in so much fire that even though it was night on Earth, it appeared as day.
Naturally, many began to panic.
But this was a sight to behold to Klaus and the ladies on the moon, for they could see the phoenix rising from the flames of Nirvana—and it was beautiful.
