Chapter 720: Making of the Seven-Star Paragon Force (20)
Rumbled
Lightning mixed with golden light flashed through the clouds as Danny jumped high into the air, his axe raised over his head.
Despite having only the light element, he now looks like a certain god of thunder but with an axe. The heavens roared to life, and within the clouds, one could have sworn they saw a silhouette of a Giant appear for a moment when the lightning flashed.
Klaus, who was resting on a branch, suddenly sat up and gazed in the direction where Danny was fighting.
“Nadia, move back!”
Klaus shouted, using his Spirit Master abilities to take hold of Nadia and Ling, moving them away from the devastation zone that was about to rock the battlefield.
“This idiot,” Klaus said, watching as Danny’s muscles expanded and his body started to enlarge along with his axe.
This caused him to raise an eyebrow.
By the time Danny was 100 meters high in the air, his body had grown to a staggering 3 meters tall, and his axe had become colossal, extending to 4 meters long.
Nadia quickly pulled back her Puppets and, for a moment, held her breath as Danny descended.
Like he meant to destroy the Earth, his axe slammed into the ground, creating a powerful shockwave that blasted all six Tier 10 Redwing Diamond Body Tyrant Ants.
Their bones and bodies were broken and shattered into countless pieces. The devastation was very powerful, and the results were on a battleground.
The Tier 10 Ants that were supposed to have diamond bodies are now shattered into many pieces.
A huge crater, large enough to bury thousands, was created, and far from the battlefield, the Ant Queen took a deep breath as she watched.
But she wasn’t the only one that took that breath. Every last one of Danny’s teammates took that breath, for they never saw that coming, yet it happened, and the results were bone-shattering.
Danny’s body returned to its original state, and then he fell back, unconscious.
However, before he could hit the ground, Klaus used his Immortal Ice—meant for healing—to encase him in ice and pull him away from the battle.
Nadia and Ling were placed back into the battle as if nothing had happened.
However, something big had happened—Danny had singlehandedly killed six Tier 10 Ants, each at the 8th level of power.
That alone was just too much to handle.
“Nadia, you should go help Aoi and the rest handle the Tier 9 monsters,” Lucy ordered.
Nadia didn’t protest. She moved back into battle and began refilling her soul pot again.
“Ling, you should go help your sister and Choi since you are a team.” Ling also nodded and went back into the battle, now fighting actively instead of standing guard for Nadia.
Meanwhile, Klaus was now standing beside Danny’s body, which was encased in ice, using his Spirit Eyes to scan him.
“There is a foreign energy coming from him,” he said to the senior, considering Nari and Queenie were on the opposite side of the battleground, attending to the situation in case the queen changed her mind and did something stupid.
But even if they were with him, they wouldn’t be of any help since the change that has happened was one that they knew nothing about.
So he decided to comb through his mind to see if he can recognize that he can recognize it. Naturally, he recognized it in a heartbeat, for he had seen it a couple of days and weeks ago.
“This is the Chaos energy. Senior, what can you tell me about what it means to Danny?” Klaus asked. He knew the energy around Danny was Chaos energy; he just didn’t know why.
[That is chaos energy. It was once used by a peculiar race known as the Titans. You now call them Giants.]
“Wait a minute,” Klaus said, looking closely at Danny. “Are you saying beings as huge as a planet once lived in this universe? And that my friend, this Danny is one of them?”

[Yes, Giants, known as Titans, once lived in this universe. However, after the Chaos Era, also known as the Era of the Titans, they were never seen again. There are many reports of them entering a hidden realm due to the deceit of other races.
Naturally, the Titans were a race of kind-hearted beings, but because of the deceit and manipulation of others, they faced an extinction event that left them either wiped out or hidden somewhere.
Of course, if you want to know more, train hard and reach a stage where you can roam the universe.]
“I see. This is great, then. However, it’s also concerning… If the Titans, as you said, are no more, it means they were enemies of other races. That means there are still people out there who are against them.
Now, I know this doesn’t prove everything, but I can boldly say Danny is a Titan. So if that’s the case, doesn’t that mean he’ll be calling enemies onto himself?” Klaus asked.
Though Danny becoming a Titan would be a good thing, the moment they entered the universe, things wouldn’t look good for him. This meant the very existence hidden within him was a danger to him and those around him.
Klaus couldn’t help but worry about his friend.
[You’re forgetting something, brat. Your Star Monarch blood basically gives them something that can easily solve this. You saw it happen with the bird lady and the Great Calamity lady.
Now, why don’t you try with him too? I can already see him becoming a Giant when his bloodline awakens the normal way, so why don’t you solve that by using your blood as the catalyst?]
Klaus nodded. He knew that had to be done, for it would be the best thing for Danny.
He created a dome around Danny before flying away. He knew Danny would be out for a few weeks, if not months.
The fact that his body was exuding chaos energy meant he was wrecked beyond recognition. Now, his Immortal Ice was doing the healing, and with Danny possessing the best healing light element, the process was moving rather smoothly.
Meanwhile, Sofia, who had been holding back the Tier 10 Ant all by herself, was struck hard by the Ant and was thrown through the air by the creature, slamming hard into the ground.
The moment she landed, the Ant moved toward Amelia, who had been preparing the spell they were counting on.
“Do it now, Amelia!” Sofia shouted, causing Amelia to snap her eyes open.
The moment she did, a powerful shockwave burst out of her body, sending the Ant—just a few meters from her—flying backward.
Then she jammed her staff into the ground.
“Chains of the Dark Phoenix!” Thick flaming chains burst from the ground, latching onto the Ant’s legs. The chains were made of fire, yet they looked solid and thick with energy.
They grabbed hold of the eight legs of the Ant and rooted it firmly into the ground.
“Conduit of the Dark Flames!” The already flaming chains became engulfed in dark flames, which traveled up the thick chains and consumed the Ant.
“Rise of the Dark Phoenix!”
From the sea of dark flames, a massive dark phoenix emerged, taking to the skies.
It ascended high, and when it reached its peak, it took a nose dive, shaking the ground as it fell.
Klaus, focusing on this badass move, smiled when he noticed Nari’s gaze fixed on the lady, who was now as pale as a white sheet.
The phoenix descended and swallowed the Ant in a sea of flames, melting its body down to the last bone. Not even the core was spared.
Klaus waved his hand, and Amelia and Sofia were pulled away and immediately placed in a mist of ice. They had done well, and now they could spend a few minutes recovering before going back into battle.
