The distance from Monsterland to the No Man’s Land Forbidden Zone was vast. It will take them a little over 3 hours to get there.

Klaus and the others left in one of the combat planes. The plan was to reach the Forbidden Zone, scout it first, and then attack.

The updated report on the zone indicated twelve Tier 10 monsters, each at the peak of their respective stages, and the main target—a Tier 11 monster—about which little was known.

Klaus instinctively knew the danger would be far greater than anticipated, for he understood the forbidden zones were much more perilous than they had initially thought.

“I don’t know what kind of danger we’ll be walking into, but this mission cannot fail, for we cannot afford to fail.

This means we must succeed in killing the Tier 11 monster. If we fail, the chance of it going on a rampage is a risk we cannot afford to take,”

Klaus said to the team, including Queen Lunara, Queenie, and Nari, who would join him in facing the Tier 11 monster.

Klaus secretly hoped the monster would resonate with his star monarch blood, potentially avoiding a battle altogether.

But a part of him also craved the fight, eager to test his abilities and learn how to wield them effectively before becoming a Sovereign.

His ultimate goal was to become a Transcendent before the awakening, and he planned meticulously to achieve this goal.

His chances of forming a soul body right when he becomes a sovereign are very high. So he wants to become Transcendent, and by then, he should be able to form at least 4 soul bodies.

“I have a question, Klaus,” Grand Elder Nyselle called out. Klaus nodded, signaling her to proceed.

“Why did you say we shouldn’t bring any technological weapons? From my perspective, if we can’t kill it, why not use one of those weapons to destroy the entire zone? I’m sure a weapon could deliver the final blow, especially with you and three Void Stage experts fighting it.”

“Because the moment we use such a weapon, the risk of its effects spreading far and wide is something we can’t afford.

The forbidden zones were once human living spaces before the apocalypse, so our goal is to reclaim them. Until we can ensure our weapons are safe, using them on Earth isn’t something we should consider.”

“I understand,” Grand Elder Nyselle nodded.

“But don’t worry too much. Killing a mere Tier 11 monster shouldn’t be cause for concern. I know with these three terrifying beauties facing it, we’ll take it down.”

The Grand Elder smiled, prompting Klaus to smile as well.

“What should we do after handling the Tier 10 monsters, then?” Danny, of course, had to ask.

“Point of correction, Danny. The Tier 11 is the only monster inside that forbidden zone. The rest are true beasts, and while we can’t fully trust the reports, all twelve are said to be on the same level as the Overlords.

This means facing and killing them will be difficult.”

“But if there are twelve of them, even after we enter, wouldn’t that mean we’ll be ganging up on them?” Danny asked.

Klaus laughed.

Just moments ago, he had chosen to spare the Overlords and Grand Elders’ pride by saying the beasts were on their level.

But the truth was, these twelve beasts were incredibly powerful.

A single Overlord or Grand Elder wouldn’t be able to handle one alone. This was why he brought his team, who needed the battle to sharpen their skills.

“If there are indeed twelve Tier 10s, it will be your job to finish them off and ensure no other monsters enter from the outside.

We should all take the battle seriously, but if it turns out to be easy, we can only be grateful for that.

Beyond that, be ready for anything. It’s possible you might face a Tier 10 alone and need to hold it back—or even kill it—by yourself.”

“Don’t worry, Klaus. We’ve dealt with the worst; just some small bugs can’t do much against us,” Danny bragged.

“I hope you maintain that enthusiasm when we get there.”

The flight continued for another three hours before they arrived at the Southern Union, where the War Gods and War Goddesses of the Union came to receive them.

Since they had already been informed of the mission, they were led to the border separating the forbidden zone from human civilization.

“We did as you instructed. All forbidden zones within a four-mile radius have been evacuated, and all houses within a six-mile radius have been cleared as well.

We also have soldiers positioned strategically to ensure no monster tide finds its way to the cities,” War god Liu Yang, one of the finest archers in the world, reported.

Rumors claimed he was the strongest War God in the world, even surpassing Miriam before she awakened her bloodline.

“Very good. For now, make sure nobody comes within ten kilometers of this place,” Klaus instructed, and the War God nodded.

Klaus then turned to his team. “I’ll go check what we’re dealing with. Don’t worry, I’ll be back within the hour, as I don’t plan on venturing deep into the zone.”

After ensuring his ladies were okay, he flew off toward the zone, four miles away. He activated his camouflage to full effect.

Fortunately, his illusion abilities were at their peak, and he now had some affinity for the law of space, allowing him to manipulate both reality and space as he entered the zone.

Once inside, Klaus moved toward a cave and entered after confirming it was unoccupied.

⟦What are you planning, brat?⟧ the senior asked, causing Klaus to smile.

“Nothing serious, senior. I happen to have a skill that allows me to mass-produce illusions of myself,” Klaus said with an evil grin.

⟦I know that, but what’s your plan? The moment your illusion clones appear, the Tier 11 monster will notice. So, what’s your endgame?⟧

“Actually, the endgame is to ensure the beasts and monsters in this zone become aware of my presence. In other words, I want them to kill as many copies of me as they can,”

Klaus said, smiling as dozens of his illusions began to appear.
