Chapter 798: Fixing The Cooling Limitations
Many will argue that Rune Magic is the same as modern-day engineering.

Of course, they both involve creating something from complex calculations and symbols. However, runes aren’t just symbols; they are like alphabets that, when put together, can create something meaningful.

You can put rune symbols together to form teleportation gates.

You can also create barriers, weapons, healing arrays, and even use them to build structures (machines) that can think for themselves.

The possibilities are endless.

It all depends on the rune master’s skill and understanding of the runes they use. Aside from the understanding, the application also has a part to play.

Knowing how best to put the runes together can go a long way.

Each rune has a meaning. Just like every alphabet, mathematical symbol, and computer code has a meaning, runes carry the same feel and meaning.

Some are similar in a way, while some are completely different.

In rune magic, some runes represent elements like fire, water, earth, and air. Others represent concepts like speed, strength, healing, or destruction.

When runes are combined carefully, they can create effects far greater than any single rune could achieve.

It’s like writing sentences.

One word alone has meaning, but when you link many words together, you tell a story.

The same principle applies in Rune Magic. But instead of telling a story, you are telling reality what to do.

The concept of creation itself comes from runes. Reality is built using runes.

Of course, this allows one to use runes to bend reality in a way that one understands well; creating something like teleportation wouldn’t be too hard.

So, runes are just a way to tell reality how to work. The core is supposed to burn hotter, but the runes will tell it to burn colder. It’s all in the understanding.

This is why Rune Magic is considered so powerful and dangerous. A single mistake in the arrangement could cause the rune formation to collapse—or worse, explode.

It’s not just about knowledge; it’s about precision, patience, and vision. A rune master must think like an architect, a mathematician, an engineer, and an artist all at once.

Anaki and Inaki understood this better than most. They didn’t just draw runes; they engineered miracles.

Their spaceship project was proof of this. They were trying to create a zero-degree propulsion system, something that would allow a spaceship to break through the limits of traditional travel.

In the past, scientists could only theorize about such a thing. But with Rune Magic, Anaki and Inaki were turning theory into reality.

Still, even with their brilliance, creating a perfect rune core was a monumental challenge. Every new layer of runes added complexity.

Every connection between symbols had to be flawless. One wrong stroke, one misplaced rune, and the entire system could fail.

That’s why Klaus’s ability to understand their work so quickly was shocking. It wasn’t something a normal person could just “pick up.”

It was as if he had spent a lifetime studying rune structures without even realizing it.

And now, standing side by side with two of the world’s greatest minds, Klaus was about to help them finish building a masterpiece that could change everything.

“The first thing we need to change is, like I said, the foundation of the first diagram. That will be the building block of the entire process,” Klaus said.

The twins could only nod and start to follow Klaus’s lead. Klaus took a deep sigh, getting himself ready for the task.

[Just trust your instincts, brat. This is just you harnessing the experience you had from the past. Even though you don’t remember yet, you’ve lived through it.

Follow new episodes on the "N0vel1st.c0m".

You drew millions of runes and perhaps even created new ones. So all those experiences are within you, just buried deep.

So tap into them, and the best way to do that is to trust your instincts and start drawing the runes. Who knows what you might come up with?]

In this aspect, the senior wouldn’t be able to help him simply because he doesn’t know rune magic. However, he could help him understand that this new part of him wasn’t foreign.

It was him.

All the experiences he once had were a part of him. So the best way to do it was to trust himself, and as it stood now, he knew that was exactly what had to be done.

So he started.

He drew the first symbol that came to mind flawlessly.

The twins turned and looked at each other. They were taken aback, but before they could wonder anything, the second rune was done.

Then the third came, and Klaus started getting immersed in what he was doing.

A few minutes into it, a smile appeared on his face, and then he started drawing the runes with a speed both Inaki and her brother could only dream of.

‘Sis, I don’t know about you, but is Klaus a god? I mean, look at what he is doing,’ Inaki asked her sister using a connection they shared.

‘And here I thought he was just a brute like every other warrior out there. Turns out he is much more interesting. If he manages to help us, I say we become his student because I can tell he knows more than we.’

‘I think so too, sis. We must take this opportunity to grow.’

One had to give it to them. Instead of getting angry or brokenhearted because a school dropout who wasn’t even a rune master was drawing runes better than them, they seemed more eager to learn from him.

That showed respect and willingness to learn more.

Klaus, who was immersed in his work, didn’t know he was shocking three people, though Queen Lunara wasn’t showing it.

Klaus was so absorbed in what he was doing that four days passed in the blink of an eye. Anaki and Inaki remained by his side the entire time, while Queen Lunara excused herself.

She didn’t understand a thing the three were working on, so she left to cultivate.

The three left in the room were lost in their work. On the fifth day, Klaus drew the last rune and let out a deep sigh.

“That is the last of them. Now, we have to arrange them,” Klaus said, and the two nodded.

They had been working for the past five days to expand their knowledge, and thanks to their quick learning, they managed to pick up quite a lot.

So when Klaus drew the complex diagram, which would be the foundation for the entire process, they quickly began arranging everything.

Two days later—making it the seventh day since Klaus arrived—they completed the foundation, which was the most complex of all sixteen they would be creating.

But completing the first means the 15 left are just a matter of time. Klaus went ahead and drew the diagrams for the rest.

“I’ll leave the rest to you two,” Klaus said to Anaki and Inaki, causing them to nod.

“We’ll be done within the next five days,” Inaki said.

“Then I’ll come back in six days.” Klaus bid them goodbye and met up with Queen Lunara, and they left the military base.

He had fixed their limitation problem; now, it was up to them to put everything back together. His job now was to prepare for his tribulation.
