Chapter 834: Rare Minerals on Mars
“What is going on, Queenie?” Klaus’s mom became alarmed when she saw Queenie and Nari take up arms and get ready for battle.

“Someone is coming,” Pickle Berry said, standing before Klaus’s mom ready to defend her, while Lucy got ready to protect everyone if things went wrong.

Crack.

Suddenly, the space cracked, and a frozen portal appeared. Then, from the portal, Tess walked out, looking as beautiful as ever.

However, the moment her eyes landed on the ladies who were ready for battle, she raised both hands and said, “It’s me, Tess.”

That was all Queenie and Narir needed to hear before they lowered their weapons.

They had already met her when she was just a Banshee and knew how she sounded, so the moment she spoke, they recognized her voice despite her complete change in appearance and the fact that she now has eyes.

“Sorry, Tess. We thought it was an enemy.” Queenie and Nari put away their weapons and let Tess fly toward them.

“You have become beautiful, Tess,” Lucy said, walking toward her sister’s Beast Companion.

“You have also become even more beautiful, Lucy,” Tess replied. Then she turned toward Klaus’s mom.

“This is Klaus’s mother,” Nari said, holding Klaus’s mom’s hand. “She is Tess, Anna’s Beast companion.”

“Oh, I see. She is like Kathy,” Klaus’s mom said, walking closer to the lady. She examined her for a few seconds, and then a smile appeared on her face.

“You are beautiful, Tess.” She held her hand. “Why don’t I work on your hair for you?”

Queenie and the others laughed, knowing she had found a new target to play with. Unfortunately for them, Klaus’s mom turned to them next and smiled, “You all would need a hair makeover.”

Pickle Berry jumped off the platform and was about to run for her dear life when a vine latched onto her waist and pulled her back.

“Oh, come on…” She tried to wiggle her way out, but Lucy didn’t let her. She knew the brat wanted to escape, but she didn’t let her. Since they all would be getting a makeover, it was best that she also got one.

Thus, the overly cheerful mother started with Tess.

Meanwhile, Klaus and Lunara had finished exploring one-quarter of the Red Desert but had found nothing.

They divided the land into four, so they first handled one-quarter, leaving three-quarters to go. Thankfully, they were both at home under the hot sun, so they weren’t complaining.

With them both having Perfect Harmony with the fire element, the sun feels like an Air conditioner for them.

A few hours after they started the next quarter, Klaus stopped in front of a small mountain structure. He didn’t move for a few minutes before a smile appeared on his face.

“There are minerals down here,” Klaus said.

She took Lunara’s hand and flew into the air. When they were high enough, he retrieved one of his spirit weapons.

A large sword appeared and loomed over them. Then, with a gesture, he directed the sword down, jamming it into the ground with powerful force.

Klaus controlled it to go underground by pushing it with his mental strength. After a few minutes, the sword blasted out, creating a 5-meter-wide hole deep into the ground.

“Let’s go.” They flew in without any hesitation and slowly descended. After a while, they came to a stop when their eyes landed on some red glowing crystals embedded into the ground and the walls.

The space there was hollow, so they could see far into the distance, and these red crystals lit the place in every direction.

“This is it, this is what I am after.” Klaus laughed, looking at the thousands of red crystals underground.

“Do you know what they are?” Lunara asked, and Klaus nodded.

“They are called Space Crystals. They are mostly found in space, but when they fall onto the planet’s surface, they absorb the natural minerals of the soil, giving them a more purified look and energy.”

He saw and used these crystals back in his life as Fruity. It’s a unique crystal that cultivators will fight over.

“It is shocking how you know all this. But you are Klaus, so I guess it’s normal. However, what are they used for?” Lunara asked with a smile.

“First, they are among the top ten highly explosive minerals in the universe if you know how to use them. But aside from that, forgers can use them to forge weapons, and engineers can use them to make their fancy gadgets.

I want to use them to create weapons, too, but most importantly, I want to use them to create highly explosive spirit weapons.

The best part is that the explosive power is determined by how much energy you can channel into them, and the reactions are in the form of the element you used.

Ice energy will explode ice, and fire energy will explode fire.”

Klaus smiled at Lunara’s lost expression. She was absorbed in Klaus’s speech, wondering whether he had done what he was talking about a million times before.

But remembering it is Klaus she is talking about, she just sighed and let him continue…

“Don’t worry, though you can’t use it actively like how an archer or gunslinger could, I will create a weapon for you that will allow you to harness the explosive might of a space crystal.

With your fire energy, I am sure we can create some booms.”

Lunara smiled, hearing the last part of Klaus’s sentence.

“How do we transport it?” Lunara asked, but the cauldron appeared in Klaus’s palm before she could even finish her sentence.

“I came prepared, my love.”

Lunara just shook her head and stepped back to let the brat work. Klaus activated the cauldron’s sucking power and started extracting the crystals from the ground, sucking them into the pocket space inside the cauldron.

Standing at the back, Lunara couldn’t help but admire Klaus. However, after a few more blushes due to the shameless thoughts that came to her mind, a question entered her thoughts.

‘Why is he trying so hard to prepare for what he called the awakening? For some reason, I feel like he is trying so hard to prevent something he couldn’t in the past.

Just what was it that could follow him to this new life?’

Her heart broke watching Klaus gather the stones. Klaus may try to mask his feelings with a smile, but as people literally holding his heart in place, they knew he was worried. So this sight couldn’t have been more sad.

‘You have us, Klaus. You have friends and allies who will help you when you need it. So don’t carry everything on your shoulders.’

She wanted to hug him, but knowing he was busy, she allowed him to continue working.
