The world shook violently as the curled space-time of the manifold came undone.

It altered the very fabric of the planet.

The curvature of the world they knew decreased substantially in the blink of an eye.

The horizon grew more distant as the very fabric of space and time unfurled, growing straighter as it would normally have been.

It changed everything.

The atmosphere shifted as tremendously powerful wind currents formed high in the sky.

The Great Nam Ocean shook as it met with the waters of foreign, unknown oceans. The introduction of different biospheres and different waters sent shocks across the entire marine ecosystems of the Great Nam Ocean.

Within the depths of the Great Nam Ocean, a tremendously titanic serpent slumbered.

Its body was of unfathomably enormous proportions, dwarfing every single creature in existence within the ecosystem of the Panama Continent and the Great Nam Ocean.

It had slumbered for a long, long time.

The very fabric of reality unfolded as the geometry of space and time was unstitched.

One moment, the serpent was wrapped around the entire planet.

The very next, it was reduced to a mere circle around a continent in a much larger world.

It was an anomaly of the highest order.

One that not even Jormungandr could ignore.

Within the depths of the Great Nam Ocean, the serpent opened its eyes.

Two silver, moon-sized pupils began to glow within the depths of the ocean as the creature gained awareness for the first time in over a millennium.

The world shook as a titanic maelstrom of wind currents from two isolated chunks of the world collided and mixed, drastically altering the entirety of the geophysics of the True World.

A shocking flow of heat and temperature began, disrupting the patterns and cycles of climate and weather that had persisted in the Panama Continent for a long time. The beasts and monsters of the Beast Domain, who had much sharper senses than human beings, began going haywire.

“ROOOAAARRRR!!!”

“KRRRIIIEEEKKK!!!”

“RAAAWWWRRR!!!”

They began rampaging around in a maddened frenzy as they lost all sense of rationality and the final ounces of self-control. Their senses and their minds appeared to begin spiraling out of control as they directed their senseless aggression at nothing, simply acting out the maelstrom of chaos that had emerged from within their minds.

The beasts and monsters relied on the magnetic field of the planet, or in this case, the folded continent, to gain sensory awareness and a sense of mind.

The Unfolding disrupted all of that.

The immediate shock of the sudden event left all the beasts and monsters of human civilization entirely incapacitated in their directional awareness of the world around them.

And yet, not even these were the most severe consequences of the Unfolding.

The most severe consequence was the complete disruption of the Panamic cycle of day and night. The manifold has stitched space and time in such a manner that the entire continent and the Great Nam Ocean were woven into a single planet with its own cycle of day and night, just as it has been the case in the Mellow Manifold.

That cycle was gone.

One half of the continent, drowned in the darkness of night, was now entirely doused in the light of day.

The other half of the continent, already illuminated in light, had experienced an instantaneous shift in the distribution of sunlight that they received. The light that the Sun directed towards the Panama Continent grew far more uniform than it had been in the past as the curvature of the continent, by virtue of the geometry of curved space and time, drastically reduced.

The heat and light grew more intense in many places of the world around the Panama Continent instantly, sending shocks across the entire region.

Geological activity drastically shifted upon the Unfolding growing more and more intense as the anomaly merged two worlds into one at not just the surface but also the crust and mantle, sending tremors across the entire continent.

What was most stunning was that the gravity affecting the Panama Continent and those upon it remained the same, as it had when the Mellow Manifold unfolded. It was nothing short of a miracle and a boon, for any drastic alterations to the gravitational force acting on the biosphere and the environment would be nothing short of a mass extinction event.

Seismic energy emanating from the Unfolding that occurred within the very depths of the Beast Domain continued washing over the entire world as panic, fear, and despair spread across the people of human civilization.

“HELP!”

“AHHHHH!”

“WHAT’S HAPPENING?!”

Countless riots of chaos and panic and mass civil unrest began spreading across human civilization as the people of humanity lost their cool and composure with the sheer magnitude of the events that consumed their very perception of reality.

This was despite the mental fortitude that human civilization had gained in the past seventeen years.

They had grown accustomed to regular disturbances and regular anomalies.

They were even aware that the tsunami of Water illusion was just an illusion based on previous happenings, allowing them to grit their teeth and weather it out, even though it had lasted much, much longer than it previously ever had.

And yet, the Unfolding was different.

Every single lifeform on the entire planet, from the most powerful of emperors to the most humble of beggars, could sense it.

Every Martial Artist, from the most powerful Masters to the weakest and youngest of Martial novices, could sense it.

They could all intuitively sense the sheer weight of destiny in the rumblings of the world around them.

They could instinctively realize the convergence of fate that was occurring even as this strange and bizarre anomaly altered the very fabric of human civilization.

They could all sense the epoch of the Unfolding changing the future of human civilization forever.

And then, they heard.

They heard the roar of the new King of Beasts.
