Chapter 3005: The Roar of the Emperor
The world shook violently as the roar emerged from the very depths of the Beast Domain.

It spread across the Beast Domain, the few lifeforms that sought to live within the depths of the Beast Domain despite the Beast Incursion stirred as the roar suffused itself across their entire being.

It infiltrated not just their body, but their minds and souls.

The feral, primal aggression and bloodlust that had flared within the depths of their eyes suddenly lessened.

It disappeared.

They glanced around them with confusion, wondering where they were and what they were doing.

It was as though a switch in their brain had flicked open, allowing them to restore their agency and their self-control.

Of course, they were still beasts and monsters, but they no longer felt the urge to annihilate humanity or the need to breed and reproduce, constantly in heat.

They had been unshackled from the control of the eldritch chimera.

Within the depths of the Beast Domain, in a specific region between the Senior and the Master-level regions of the Beast Domain, lay a different kind of manifold. One conjured by a titanically powerful quasi-Transcendent lifeform with the ability to alter the very fabric of heaven, earth, and space.

The Garden of Salvation.

The Elder Tree shuddered as it slowly woke up from the state of hibernation that it had voluntarily entered more than seventeen years ago. Instantly, the intelligent flora lifeform detected the changes to the very fabric of reality as its mind began clearing up of the fog that the eldritch chimera’s command had caused it.

It beheld the changing world, the unfolding fabric of space and time, and the True World that lay far beyond the boundaries of the known world. It beheld the roar of the new Emperor of the Beast Domain spreading not just across the Beast Domain, but across all of human civilization.

It couldn’t even fathom what had happened.

And yet, it understood one thing.

This is the birth of a new era.

“ROOOAAARRR!!!”

“KRRRIIIEEEKKK!!!”

“RAAAWWWRRR!!!”

RUMBLE!!!!!

The world shook as the roar reached the beasts and monsters across all of human civilization, infiltrating their brain and minds. In the blink of an eye, the primal bloodlust in their eyes disappeared as the feral aggression in their bodies seemed to melt away, as though a simple switch in their bodies had been turned off.

The beasts and monsters began panicking as they ran away from human civilization quickly, as they couldn’t help but grow profoundly confused as to what they were doing so far away from their habitats, where they were most comfortable and prone to spend their entire lives.

The Unfolding deprived them of much of their situational stability while they had yet to acclimate themselves to their surroundings and their situations, leaving them in a discordant and confused panicking rampage, even if they knew to stay away from human civilization.

And just like that, the Beast Incursion came to an end as the new King of Beasts undid the war declared by his successor.

The beasts and monsters across the entire continent subconsciously accepted the new Emperor of the Beast Domain as their ultimate ruler, replacing his predecessor as the ultimate commander-in-chief of the entire biosphere within the Panama Continent, barring human civilization.

Within five minutes of the Unfolding, the world had changed beyond recognition.

An epoch that changed the very world to an extent that dwarfed even the changes brought about by the epoch of the Beast Incursion, that altered the dynamics of the continent and the boundaries of civilization and species, and the topography and geography of the world.

The distribution of sunlight, the disruption of day and night, and the alteration of the curvature of the planet were just the most basic and immediate consequences of the Unfolding.

The true maelstrom of change that the Unfolding would surely bring about had yet to come.

Within the depths of the Beast Domain at its very epicenter stood Rui alone.

Having roared with the final ember of strength he had, his body staggered as a wave of exhaustion washed over him, unlike anything he had ever experienced in his life.

He was tired.

Truly tired.

Not just from the sheer amount of time that he had abused Gigabrain.

Not just from the unfathomable mental stress that the shocking revelations of the true world, or from the stunning truths that the Martial Transcendents had left him with.

Not just because of the burdens that they had placed on him and the promise that he had made to them.

But also because of the seventeen years that he had worked hard to serve as a pillar for human civilization and a symbol of hope and salvation. The wars that he had led and the battles that he had fought for many, many years.

In that moment, he felt more tired than he ever had in his entire life as his body stumbled and his vision blurred.

The world went dark as his body went limp, collapsing to the ground.

And thus, the lone Martial Sage and King of Beasts slumbered after dispelling the Era of Darkness.

None of the other Martial Sages came for him once the battle at the very epicenter of the Beast Domain ended.

For the Martial Sages, too, were incapacitated with the price of the Martial Mind and the Martial Soul, allowing them to get some well-needed rest and solace. However, it also meant that human civilization was deprived of its Martial Sages upon the birth of a new era ushered in by the Unfolding.

They would have faced the crisis, at the very least the initial period of the crisis, by themselves. The leaders of human civilization rushed to tackle the new unknown anomaly that had consumed the entire world and the panicking citizens, entirely unaware of the sheer magnitude of what had truly happened.

The world slowly setted down into a new state and a new equilibrium of geological and planetary stability as heaven and earth took their new shape and form.

And thus, the True World was born.
