Chapter 1405: Killing The Light (final)
The Celestial Creator who had been observing reality all these while seemed not to be satisfied with his investigation, he must have detected a discrepancy and was about to move closer to the edge of this broken universe when he paused and turned around, and more quickly than the consciousness could follow he raised his hand and caught the edge of a blade on his wrist.
“Boom!”
A shockwave that spread across millions of light years erupted from his position as the blade was stopped by the hand of the Celestial Creator, but then a penetrating whining sound erupted from the blade like the teeth of a saw blade running across the edge of a glass and the blade cut through the wrist of the Celestial Creator and if not for a quick shuffle backward that he did, the point of the blade would have sliced through his neck.
Another quick series of dodge to the side and downwards and the Celestial Creator escaped close shaves with the blade that thrust and sliced towards him hundreds of times in the blink of an eye leaving deep wounds in reality that were filled with an unknown silverfish light that prevented space from healing, however, his movements were not as fast as the blade made tiny scratches were left on his body, and as he had not recovered from his last maneuvers the blade that was poised over his head slammed down quicker than light.
Death approached him, and an unexpected roar erupted from the Celestial Creator, a blast of pure light shot out from his body like an erupting supernova, and it slammed against the descending blade, blasting it into the distance. This move seemed to take a lot out of him as he staggered backward for a moment as if drunk.
The bright light from the disruptive force from the Celestial Creator was potent enough to reveal the source of the unexpected attack, and it was a glowing whitish blade that resembled the light from the moon reflecting off pale bones, which was not a strange appearance because its creator had crafted it using his body. The hilt of the blade was encircled by a long, thin tail that led to the body of Vyraak, which was still sliced in two and, from all outward appearance, was dead.
With a loud whip-cracking sound, the blade was retracted by the tail, and when it reached the body of the dragon, a slim yet scaly hand with long claws burst out of the flesh covered with gore and held the hilt of the weapon, and a body emerged from the carcass of the dragon. It was Vyraak.
No longer wearing the massive shape of a dragon he had returned back to his previous humanoid form, but now his body had evolved further, becoming a merger between his humanoid form and a dragon.
With two pairs of hands and seven long tails like those of a scorpion, the red eye on Vyraak’s chest was open and blazing bright. Two massive bat-like wings were attached to his back like a cape, and two great horns that circled around his had emerged from his scalp, he almost looked like a Demon, but the shining sword he held gave him a majesty that suppressed any wildness he had in his demeanor, making him resemble a demonic knight.
An aura of pure desolation that was still held under a tight leash erupted from his body, and overhead, a silver moon arose that slowly turned red as if an entire ocean’s worth of blood was being spread across its surface.
Vyraak brought the blade to his eyes looking at it in amazement, as he whispered,
“Death called to me, but you were there in the darkness, and holding onto you I heard a voice in my heart, let us kill the light. My Red Moonlight Blade.”
Vyraak pointed the weapon at the Celestial Creator, “and it shall be so.”

The unknown Celestial Creator was looking at the stump of his hand, and even though Rowan could not read his expression, he was sure that part of what he would be feeling must be disbelief.
Like a growing rot, there were bright silvery veins that had grown over the stump extending up the hand of the Celestial Creator and he seemed to be watching this process with a hint of fascination, not even looking at Vyraak.
Vyraak did not give his enemy the chance to recover, although he had been healed from death itself, and was even stronger than before, that taint inside his soul, he could feel that it was growing and whatever it was, it felt worse than death, and it was slowly claiming him, but if this was the price he would need to pay for his revenge, then he was willing to pay it.
He did not understand the full abilities of the blade he had in his hand, all he knew was that it could collect all the power he could throw at it, and the feeling of danger that was emerging from it would keep growing. This danger reminded Vyraak of the feeling he had the moment he died. The Red Moonlight Blade was Death personified.
Vyraak felt that given enough time to feed this blade, it would become so powerful that it would be able to kill anything in one strike. So he was not holding back and was pushing as much power as he could into the blade as he sensed a growing consciousness that was inside the weapon slowly bonding with him.
Charging towards the Celestial Creator who still seemed engrossed in peering at his stump, Vyraak brought the blade down with all the Will of extinction he had in his heart.
Vyraak’s sharp draconic fangs were bared in expectation, and when he thought his blade was going to sheer through the dazed Celestial Creator from his head down to the crotch, his enemy materialized the halberd that previously killed him and seemed to effortlessly block the blow, and again there was that loud whining sound, and the halberd began to crack, Vyraak grinned and pressed against his enemy with more force but the Celestial Creator simply angled his weapon to the side, breaking Vyraak’s stance and moving so quick that his mind could not catch up to it, he stabbed Vyraak a hundred times, however, the pain that Vyraak expected did not appear.
As if it had a life of its own, the blade moved Vyraak’s arm, perfectly blocking and countering the attacks from the Celestial Creator; Vyraak had no time to be shocked when he saw an opening; he took it.
Pushing his seven tails forward, and although the Celestial Creator, despite being pressed by the blade, was able to cut off three of the tails, the remaining wrapped around his waist and chest, and Vyraak pulled him closer while furiously hacking downwards with his blade.
Two points of light that resembled eyes blazed on the face of the Celestial Creator as a palpable sense of rage erupted from his body, the same explosion of power that had pushed back the blade erupted from him again but it was cut halfway as the Red Moonlight blade tore through the disruptive force and bit into the shoulder of the Celestial Creator, continuing down until it stopped near his waist.
Vyraak roared in exaltation as he opened his mouth wide to bite into the head of the Celestial Creator but still fighting despite his grievous wound, he pushed the stump of his hand into Vyraak’s mouth as another wave of disruptive power arose from him again.
The half-dragon roared and bit through the stump in his mouth, and twisting the blade to the side, he slashed, cutting the Celestial Creator in two; bringing his hand back, he thrust the blade forward and impaled the head of the Celestial Celestial.
Bright light erupted from the body impaled on the blade, and as if hungry for energy, the blade began to feast on the light. Something seemed to break inside the broken body of the Celestial Creator as an angered roar erupted from him before a stupendous eruption of power that would rival the force of a million exploding universes erupted from his body.
For a while, there was nothing but light and heat, and when that vanished, only Vyraak remained, holding the Red Moonlight blade in one hand and, on the other, the dissipating head of the Celestial Creator.
“I have killed the Light.”
