The Primordial Record - Chapter 1427
Chapter 1427: Lightning Fast Quips
The voice of Eva suddenly broke through the gloom, “Your problem is that you stopped looking. You climbed the top of the mountain, you looked outside the heavens, and when you did not see him, you allowed despair to enter your heart, but you two are forgetting something very important. Although the path of your father may be extremely narrow and he climbed it extremely fast, he was once like you. He stood upon that mountain, he climbed to the heavens, and he soared outside the heavens. He took the steps that led him to the place, now the question you should be asking yourself is, do I have the heart to follow him to the height that he currently stands, even if it takes all of eternity, or do I see his strength and the resolve in my heart withers?”
Silence prevailed in this space for a while.

Above the dragon, the heavens opened up, and Rowan stepped through. Clad in nothing but black pants and jacket, he looked like an extremely beautiful young man simply coming back from a stroll, and with his hands in the pockets of his pants, this carefree image was only accentuated.
His hair was no longer black. Instead, it was greenish-gold, and so also were his eyes, and when Eva saw the color of his eyes and hair, she understood where Rowan would be leading them next, the Land of Miracles. The forgotten prince of the Elder was finally going home.
Rowan smiled at them, and even as higher dimensional immortals, they were almost stuck in place as they saw him, and only their strong Will prevented them from falling into a permanent daze, “You guys were heading to Booze Palace; let’s continue the meeting over there, shall we.” Rowan looked around, “This universe contains nothing but death; we should leave before it taints our aura.”
Staff stepped forward while looking at Rowan in amazement, ” Is it… is it over, just like that? Drakul, you killed him!”
Rowan nodded, “He was just awakened from death and was still extremely weak, coupled with the fact that his information about this Era is long outdated and his pride was his greatest weapon, his defeat was inevitable; I had some experimentation to run during the battle; that was why I took so long. Come on, let’s go; I miss the taste of good wine, and I hear that Circe has perfected more of your father’s recipes.”
With a wave of his hand, everyone here vanished, and when they reappeared they were above Booze Palace. The tavern that floated through eternity.

Booze Palace was located on an asteroid floating through the void in the higher dimensional realms. At a glance, it did not appear to be anything special; that was because it was faithful to its roots, and its appearance was pulled straight from the lower realms with no visible changes.
Vraegar, looking down at this place, sniffed, “The sense of style of your father never fails to baffle me; which immortal builds a tavern out of a few pieces of wood and nails? I know many mortal dominions that would not be caught dead appearing in a place like this. It would have been a simple thing to create something more… grand.”
” It has its charms,” Eva smiled,
Vraegar looked away in disinterest, ” Yeah, a decrepit one, like the home of a murder hobo; it’s a place that only those with weird tastes would like; at least the drinks are great.”
“Hey, watch your tone; that’s my father’s pride and joy over there. Besides, he built it in a hurry, and Circe claims that this place has a charm that draws customers here.”
“And here I was thinking that you were your father’s pride and joy. Guess the man kept his priorities straight.”
“Keep talking dragon, and I’m going to pull out your fangs slowly.”
“Let’s head down,” Rowan said, breaking up the friendly spat, “We are beginning to draw attention.”
They indeed drew attention, for their appearances were eye-catching, even amongst immortals.
From Rowan to Eva, Andar, and Staff, their appearances were sublime, each carrying a charm that went beyond the physical, and they almost seemed like they had magnets attached to their bodies and everyone else was metal fillings. Vraegar as a powerful white dragon was a rare sight, and what was most eye-catching about them all was that all five of them were fifth-dimensional immortals!
Even though they had become used to seeing higher dimensional immortals in their daily lives, in most of reality that was not the case.
Will Holders were an extremely special branch of immortals who had gained true freedom to roam all of existence for all eternity, and any dimension would be ecstatic if they gained a higher dimensional immortal. The majority of higher dimensional immortals would stop at the fourth-dimensional level, to see multiple immortals that had conquered both time and space in a single location was a rare sight, and most believed that they were looking at the members of Primordial Domains.
This tavern had become popular enough in the last few millennia that some of the scions of Primordial Domains usually came to the tavern for drinks.
Booze Palace was the size of an average two-story building that could be found in any mortal city, made from wood, with a fading signpost near its roof, it was planted firmly in the center of this asteroid and clustered around the building where hundreds of immortals from various races and dimensions who used this place not only as an avenue of relaxation but a way station to other parts of reality.
Various transactions were taking place here, and this place was becoming popular because safety was guaranteed and enforced; plus, there was no additional fee for conducting your business at Booze Palace; you simply had to purchase a drink as the fee for using any of the services here.
Whispers traveled through the crowd as they saw the new arrivals, and there were signs of respect made as any immortal who caught the eye of the five hurriedly bowed. Andar seemed to spot someone in the crowd but he looked away.
He had just seen a member of the Limit Breakers, which was not surprising because they had used this place as a meeting location several times in the past. He no longer tried to reconnect because it would be useless to do so at his level of power, and his attention might draw calamity to this lesser immortal. He would secretly check on him, but for now, it was better that no one here knew that this mage was connected to one of the five higher-dimensional immortals visiting this tavern.
The wooden doors automatically opened up as they neared it, and a pleasant smell of wine drifted out from the opened doorway, filled with so much packed Aether and Essence that everyone here visibly relaxed; of course, Rowan did not feel any difference, this level of energy was too low and he no longer functions with it in any way, but anyone who saw how he acted would not know that.
“Ah, it seems like I have just returned to Trion,” Staff sighed, “No matter how many bad memories I have of that place…”
“…it’s still a home that we all shared,” Rowan said, as he smiled, looking around the place. There were dozens of tables and chairs inside the tavern, with a staircase that led to the upper floors at the center. A black cat with wings was flitting past the tables delivering drinks and taking orders, while delivering wicked quips along the way.

“Hey, Archie,” one of the patrons whom the Lightning Kirin had just flashed past called out, “I said I wanted something strong.”
“That’s why there is a mirror at the bottom of your cup hotshot; deal with yourself!” Archimedes called out without looking at the patron.
The Lightning Kirin suddenly screeched to a halt when she saw the five new arrivals in the tavern; she gave a double take before pointing towards the second floor with a bright white paw and then zoomed towards the back, most likely to inform Circe of their latest arrival, her little wings beating extremely fast as she vanished in a burst of lightning.
Rowan smiled at the specter left behind in the air after the cat disappeared, “I believe she meant we have a spot waiting for us upstairs, let’s go and relax for a while.”
