The Primordial Record - Chapter 1437
Chapter 1437: Quick Changes
Seed seemed to be debating on how he was going to respond to Rowan before he simply stated, aware that Rowan was adaptive enough to understand the implications of his words without any unnecessary panic, his grandson had grown into a powerhouse in his own right,
“Power has its cost, and for someone like you whose abilities are a destabilization agent to the current state of things, you would be eliminated, but you have proven that you can be channeled towards an objective that could suit the benefits of those at the top, and for that, you would be protected and given the resources to grow.” Seed sighed, “You are a smart person Rowan, and so you should understand, that a power like yours has to be seen as being under the control of an institution, else you would not be the enemy of one, but all, and trust me boy, that is not a position you want to find yourself. In the Primordial Era, Breakers were given much freedom, and they organized themselves in a force that was so strong it was seen as invincible, yet they all fell, their dominion crushed to dust.”
Rowan chuckled self-deprecatingly, ” So, my reward is the right to exist as long as I’m your weapon and the servants of the Primordials.”
Without blinking Seed replied, “Yes, until you grow strong enough that you will be able to stand on your two feet without fearing retaliation from any other dominion, I would advise that you bow your noble head. There are far worse fates than to be a servant of the Prime, you can choose to become their enemy, but that is an option I will not advise.”
“Do I have any other choice?”
“No, you don’t. You should not see this as a bad thing Rowan, I know coming from the lower dimensions where you are the most powerful being around can make you lose sight of the true might of the Primordials, but you have never been to their domains, you do not know what they are capable of, and in their sight, you are less than dust, in the past, you might have been able to find other powerful Breakers to stand by your side, but not in this time, now the Will of the Primordials are everything. The smart choice would be to become an agent of the Land of Miracles, and all of this…” gesturing to the reality around him, Seed pointed out, “would be your merit.”
“Damned if I do, damned if I don’t.”
“We all have owners, child, and if you want to be under a banner, choose the biggest.”
Rowan considered that there was an implicit threat underneath everything that Seed was saying to him, he never had an option to refuse, and he was sure that if he did, the old man would kill him, it was a good thing then that Rowan was here to serve, he was here to learn, and after he had gained the knowledge that he craved, the Primordial Domains would crumble beneath his feet.
Rowan was silent for a while before he asked, “You say the destruction of the Frozen Road is not just your wish but also of the Land of Miracle, why is that?”
Seed sighed, “You don’t ask the easy questions, do you? What you are asking about deals with the issues that are known mostly by Old Ones and special subsets of immortals, which you should fall under. Ah, this should not have been your burden to bear, you are still too young, but knowing you, the search for that answer would consume you until you do something truly stupid. If that is the case, let us return to the Land of Miracles, there are things that I cannot explain to you until you see a Primordial Domain for yourself.”
“I have seen a Primordial Domain, Seed,”
“Not like this you have not.”
“Do you no longer wish to look at the dimensions?”
“I have had my fill, transformations are arriving, and perhaps it is time to no longer be stuck in the past, everything changes too quickly.”

ALGORTH, HOME BASE OF PRISM.
At one of the central areas that were free of the chaotic internal movements of the great castle that would cause anyone caught within to be lost forever, the seven heads of Prism gathered once more to follow up on the state of affairs as the current developments all over reality, were happening quite quickly, far more than any of them could have anticipated.
Their meetings were now conducted yearly instead of centuries or millennia that was the custom, and this was for good reasons, they were about to become entrenched in a war, one that they would be winning by all means necessary.
In the beginning, the destruction of the Frozen Road was expected to cause chaos all over reality, but they had been poised to take advantage of it. Green, one of the leaders of Prism had brought forth a crazy preposition a thousand years ago, that in the future they were to be given permission to begin taking over vast stretches of the lower realms.
Prism was always looking out for opportunities to extend their dominion over reality and pursuing a course where they would bring more lower realms under their control was always a welcomed option, but this was not seen as a viable strategy because of the presence of the Frozen Road that both aided and hindered every greater power in the higher realms.
This road connected every area of the Great Darkness, overseeing the entire lower realms, making it easy for the immortals of the higher realm to navigate across the Great Darkness, which was the fourth-dimensional space of Primordial Chaos.
Prism could not just seize any lower realms of their choice because in the past all the great powers had already shared the lower realms amongst themselves, and any act of collecting their property would be seen as a call for war, and the holdings of Prism that was in the lower realms would be open for any higher power to seize at their leisure.
With this method, there was a careful balance amongst the higher realm on their treatment of the lower realms, and so when Green brought a proposal forward about taking over vast numbers of universes in the lower realms, Green was not afforded much resources to pursue that agenda until they had implied that the Frozen Road would be coming down in the future.
It was initially not seen as a viable reason to authorize this process because the Frozen Road was a Grand Working of Primordial Chaos and nothing short of the power of another Primordial could disrupt it. Prism served as an extended arm of their various Primordial Domain but none of them here could boast that they could invoke the powers of a Primordial in any of their affairs. The Frozen Road was expected to last for eternity.
However, Green had leveraged their position as a member of the seven to be given the resources they required to engage in sweeping changes across the lower realms the instant that the Frozen Road was destroyed. Not seeing anything wrong in giving Green the resources needed after they pledged their seat if they failed, the leaders of Prism agreed to follow the plan of Green.
When the Frozen Road collapsed, they had all given Green extra resources to pursue their plan and they sat back to reap the benefits of this project but then an unexpected event occurred as the Chaos Bloods went crazy, and Old Ones had not seen since the Primordial Era began to rise.
With the resources of Prism, it did not take long for them to understand that the madness of the Chaos Blood and the resurrection of the Memories of fallen Old Ones was linked.
Green, the proposal of the plan to control the lower realms stood up to begin the meeting and their first words caused the atmosphere to shift,
“The plan to take over the realms associated with the Titans has to be halted, recently several Old Ones numbering in the dozens have reappeared among their domains, and more are expected to rise in the coming years, the Titans are no longer a third-rate force, and their rise this last year alone is alarming. I suggest we slow down our plans and re-evaluate our positions in the state of things, for the Titans are not the only old forces to rise from antiquity, please refer to the messages passed through your Will Chains, something extremely terrible is brewing in the Great Darkness.”
