Chapter 1556: Plunging Into The Supreme Sun
Cloudy cried out once more before he began to shrink, his entire mass converging on the apex of Andar’s staff, and so as the staff rose, Cloudy was continuously compressed into the spark on top of the staff, and with a burst of power that sent a shockwave throughout the Supreme realm and into Reality, Aetherius appeared on Andar’s right hand where its shape took the form of a staff that was his height.

Now rotating on the head of the staff was a floating, ever-changing orb that resembled a miniature galaxy, alternating between blinding brilliance and all-consuming darkness.

This was a representation of Andar’s Will, one that Rowan was extremely proud of, as it showed that Andar, more than any of his children, had inherited the principles of his existence.

As this staff entered Reality for the first time, there was a faint sound all across the Mage realm like the chanting of its name, “Aetherius… Aetherius…” This sound traveled into Reality as all of existence witnessed the birth of the Ruler of Aether. An accomplishment that even Rowan did not have.

Darkness began to pool around his feet, extending towards the sun below, appearing like massive umbral wings. Wings of light appeared behind him, reaching for the stars. The sheer presence of Aetherius had enough weight to shift the authority of the Magus Realm away from Andar, giving him a domain where everything was under his control.

It was unknown what the unveiling of Aetherius would change in Reality because it was already a Source-Level Treasure, yet it was still incomplete. Only this new age that was dawning could begin to hold the weight of a weapon like this.

Holding this staff, Andar could barely lift it, let alone use it to craft delicate spells. Aetherius was made for the end game. It was a weapon that Andar fashioned for the time he became an Old One, and it was not yet completed; there was still much to be done, so much so that he feared it would never be finished.

There were hundreds of millions of delicate spells and craftings that needed to be merged with the staff, and even then, it would not be entirely completed without the dominion of an Old One powering it, but in this situation, Andar did not require all of that delicate elements as are necessary for spells, he only needed power, and in this new age, power was his to take.

Andar raised the staff with both hands as he began to chant, using the runes etched on it as a conductor to his will. Reality shuddered as the presence of Aetherius was broadcast into its core, and following the meaning of its name, all of the Aether in Reality responded to its power.

His wings of light reached the depths of eternity, and the shadows beneath him thickened until they began to cover the light of the Supreme Sun under him. Such a commotion could no longer be blocked as all across the realm, mages who were still growing stronger began to flee the realm, heading into space.

They did not understand everything happening, but the clash between powers that rewrite Reality with their will was nowhere they wanted to be. If this were Andar alone, they would have stayed behind, but Endirius could not be challenged without repercussion, and his reach was mighty and terrible; running was the only option.

Members of the Limit Breakers were leading their retreat, plus numerous Magus organizations, who suddenly found themselves with so much power flowing through Reality that creating miracles was only hindered by the knowledge they held.

A part of Andar’s consciousness was glad when he saw this mass movement of the mages of the realm because the last thing he wanted was for them to be caught in the crossfire. Years ago, he had made plans for such a thing when he knew that Rowan had designs on this realm.

Andar felt that his father was merciful, but sometimes, it was hard for him to conceptualize the existence of mortals. Still, he realized that his actions might be useless as the range of this battle may exceed countless dimensional zones. However, he would never forgive himself if he made no effort to protect the weak.

With that out of the way, he was able to focus on his fight ahead with no hesitation in his heart and aligned his intentions with his staff.

The Primordial Aether filling the air was so potent that Andar did not have to draw from the Aether inside his body. Aetherius trembled as it drew power from Reality.

A vast storm descended from above and was sucked into the swirling orb on top of the staff. It brightened before dimming as a wave of darkness was sent from the orb down the shaft. As it gathered near the end of the staff, Andar pointed the end of the Staff in the direction where he felt the presence of the Supreme Mage, and he let loose.

The darkness below him was suddenly filled by a frightening Will and so much Aether that it gained life as a massive Light Devourer took shape below Andar. Bigger than a star, with wings of pure darkness that could rend through Reality, the Light Devourer shrieked as it erupted towards the Supreme Sun, leaving a trail of nothing behind as its presence ate

through Reality.

Millions of tentacles arising from its wings slammed into the sun, creating a tunnel as the tentacles drained every bit of light they touched, a moment before the Light Devourer followed through the tunnel, heading towards the depths of the Supreme Realm.

A hundred Magus residences built inside the sun by higher-dimensional mages in its path were crushed to pieces, and the Light Devourer grew stronger and faster as it entered deeper into the sun.

Andar had not moved from his position as he unleashed that first attack. A pure beam of darkness blasted out of his staff, following the hole left by the Light Devourer. He conjured a chain of darkness with his left hand, attaching it to the beam of darkness. He was dragged down into the core of the Supreme Realm.
