Chapter 546: Chapter 546 I Haven’t Used It Yet
“Nope, I don’t know… I’m new, after all,” Hera said mockingly, her voice dripping with sarcasm as she turned her attention back to her script.
The room fell into a tense silence, the weight of the situation settling in, but no one stepped forward to defend her.
“Ha! I knew it! You think you’ll survive in this industry with that kind of attitude?” one of them sneered, her voice filled with venom.
“Well, you’ve managed to stick around, so I don’t think it’ll be impossible for me,” Hera shot back, her tone amused, as if she were dealing with nothing more than a group of clowns. She was in a good mood today, and didn’t mind putting them in their place.
With her reply, Hera was clearly insinuating just how foolish the women in front of her were.
If they had managed to survive this long with their attitude, surely she, who was simply minding her own business and trying to do a better job, could do the same.
Almost everyone caught the implication, and some couldn’t help but stifle a chuckle, pursing their lips to hold back their laughter.
Though a few were concerned for Hera, they knew better than to play the hero.
After all, most of them were too afraid to offend anyone in the room, unsure who could retaliate in the most ruthless way.
They were all actresses, skilled at hiding their true selves behind facades, and no one knew who might be more dangerous than the others.
However, those who truly understood the situation were few.
Most people only thought about what they could gain from it. If there was a clear benefit to helping, they might step in, but more often than not, they preferred to stay on the sidelines.
For now, they were content, knowing that someone else was dealing with the troublemakers on their behalf.
“You fucking bitch! Are you treating us like fools?” One of them hissed, her veins bulging in fury as she clenched her fists.
“You said it, not me,” Hera replied coolly, a slight smirk tugging at the corner of her lips.
Maybe it was because she’d spent too much time around the male leads, but she’d started picking up Dave’s knack for dealing with these kinds of people.
The thought of him made her smile even more—his attitude, his sarcastic demeanor—she answered in the same way she imagined Dave would.
Meanwhile, in his office, Dave was sipping his black coffee while his assistant reported the latest news.
Out of nowhere, he suddenly sneezed—loud and sudden, causing everyone in the room to jump in surprise.
The sneeze was so forceful that it sent the hot coffee splashing onto his trousers.
“Holy shit! My dick’s gonna burn!” Dave yelled, leaping from his chair as he hastily set his coffee cup down.
It just so happened that the hot coffee spilled exactly where his private part was currently positioned in his trouser, causing Dave to jump in surprise.
Unfortunately, the hot coffee had spilled directly onto his lap, causing a sharp reaction. “Dammit! I haven’t even used this tool to please my woman yet—how could I let it suffer like this?” he muttered, causing his assistant and a few politicians listening in on the meeting to nearly burst into laughter.
The seriousness of the meeting was momentarily forgotten as everyone tried to hold in their amusement.
“Fuck! Who’s cursing me now?! Damn it, they’re trying to end my lineage! What am I supposed to do if I get crippled here? My woman will leave me!” Dave ranted, his voice panicked as he rushed to the nearby bathroom, urgently stripping off his trousers to make sure the hot coffee hadn’t caused any serious damage.
Only after Dave had exited the room, followed by his frantic assistant, did the other politicians burst into laughter, banging on the table in amusement.
They had never seen this side of Dave before.
Usually, he was the charming, scheming fox in the office, but today, he was a flustered mess.
Fortunately, all the people present were close political allies of his family, so they took it as a harmless, funny moment.
One of them, who had been recording the meeting for reference, quickly sent the video to the Carson family patriarch.

Dave’s grandfather, along with the rest of the family, found out that Dave has a woman—who he had yet to touch but he almost got his private’s burn—and they couldn’t stop laughing.
The video was replayed over and over, and they laughed until they couldn’t anymore.
Back on Hera’s side, her sharp retort had successfully enraged the group of troublemakers, and one of them, seething with anger, raised her arm, clearly intending to strike Hera.
“NEXT auditioner, please!” Just then, the person who just finished their audition walked out of the room, accompanied by a member of the filming crew, who promptly called for the next candidate.
Although Hera was sitting near the pillar, she was positioned close to the door, so the crew member immediately noticed the group standing around her.
Hera’s expression shifted, and in an instant, her eyes welled up with tears, as if on cue, turning on the waterworks.
When the crew member saw the group of troublemakers standing in front of Hera, clearly on the verge of causing harm, her attention shifted to the woman sitting nearby.
Hera’s eyes were red, swollen like a rabbit’s, as she desperately held back tears, trying to appear brave while biting her lower lip.
As soon as Hera’s eyes met the crew member’s, she let out a soft, shaky hiccup, as if she had just spotted her savior.
Her eyes, wide with distress, seemed to silently scream for help, pleading with the crew to intervene.
Instantly, the crew’s expression darkened. “What’s going on here?” she asked, her voice sharp as she stepped closer and shut the door behind her.
The troublemakers were caught off guard, unable to process what was happening. They opened their mouths, ready to make excuses.
“We were just asking—” one of them began, but before they could finish, they noticed the crew’s frown deepen. Panic crept in as their eyes instinctively turned toward Hera.
To their shock, Hera’s earlier sarcastic expression had vanished in an instant, replaced by an entirely different demeanor.
In that split second, her previously confident face was now a mask of vulnerability.
The shift was enough to make their limbs feel weak, as a sudden chill ran through their bodies, leaving them unsettled and unsure of what would happen next.
“Didn’t we make ourselves clear already?” The crew’s voice was icy, her gaze unwavering. “Anyone causing trouble will be immediately disqualified.”
The troublemakers’ faces drained of color, but they still scrambled to come up with an excuse. Before they could speak, however, Hera’s voice cut through the air, sharp and firm.
“Sister, I’m okay,” Hera choked out, her voice thick with restrained emotion.
Although the crew member was in her mid-to-late thirties, hearing Hera call her “sister” instantly made her warm to the girl even more.
The sight of Hera’s face, filled with contained grievance, only deepened the crew member’s sympathy.
It made her side with Hera all the more, her gaze sharpening as she turned to the troublemakers.
Despite Hera’s words, her expression told a different story.
The faint tremor in her voice, laced with a hint of fear, spoke volumes—she had clearly been threatened.
The crew member didn’t need to ask further questions. She already knew what was happening.
Intimidation like this wasn’t uncommon in the industry, though it was usually done subtly so as to maintain the aggressor’s public image. But being caught red-handed, as these troublemakers were, was a different matter entirely.
