Chapter 592: Chapter 592 Xavier Under The Radar
There was a brief pause from Xavier’s side as he tried to process what Danny had just said, his mind momentarily lagging.
When Danny didn’t hear a response, he hesitantly probed, his voice tinged with a nervous edge. “Is Miss Hera still asleep?” Xavier picked up on the unease in his tone immediately.
Xavier pulled the phone away from his ear and glanced at the screen, noting it was only 2:30 a.m.
“Hmm, I’ll bring Hera there. Just send me the location,” he said, his words still thick with sleep.
But as soon as he heard that Hera had something important to do, his mind sharpened, catching the key details.
He knew he needed to help Hera prepare, especially since he felt responsible for her being out cold at this moment.
His gaze shifted back to her peaceful face, and a small, rueful smile tugged at the corner of his lips.
“Alright, thank you in advance, sir…” Danny said, unaware of who he was speaking to or the nature of their relationship with Hera.
But considering the time—2:30 a.m.—and the fact that it was too early for a friend to be dropping by, the only logical conclusion was that the man who answered Hera’s phone was her boyfriend.
Given the exhausted tone in Xavier’s voice, Danny didn’t need to ask any further questions. Life had taught him enough to recognize what had likely happened the night before.
So, he said what was necessary and quickly excused himself.
Since Danny wasn’t sure who he was speaking to, he chose to maintain his politeness and refrained from addressing the person by name.
After they hung up, he quickly sent the terminal information for the airport where they would need to check in before boarding the plane.
After sending the information, Danny closed his eyes to rest.
He was equally exhausted, having spent the past few days scrambling to secure a flight to Barcelona, only to be intercepted by PGA Tour, who cornered him and his team.
He’d also been desperately trying to connect with others who might be able to help, leaving him feeling like a spinning top.
Only to find out that the answer had been within his reach all along, but he hadn’t been able to utilize it from the start.
But he never imagined that Hera would be the one to solve his problem so easily.
Now that everything was settled, the weight of exhaustion hit him all at once.
All he wanted was to sleep, and that’s exactly what he did during the ride to the airport.
Xavier stood up from the bed, went to the bathroom and splashed cold water on his face, trying to wake every cell in his body.
He then checked to see if Amy and Hannah had returned, only to find that the penthouse was empty except for him and Hera.
He made his way to the guest room to find a fresh set of clothes.
After getting dressed, he returned to Hera’s room and rummaged through her walk-in closet.
At the far corner, he found a neglected set of sweatpants and a hoodie, tucked away as if forgotten.
Perhaps it was because Hera had so many different styles to choose from that she never got around to trying this set.
He couldn’t help but feel guilty for having exhausted her to this point, but at the same time, a soft chuckle escaped him.
Leaning down, he gently kissed her cheek. “Just sleep and leave everything to me,” he whispered softly.
After a moment, he stood up, moved back to her walk-in closet, and retrieved a pair of long socks and running shoes.
Once Xavier had everything he needed, he returned to Hera and carefully slipped her socks onto her feet.

Even though he was alone, he effortlessly dressed her, gently lifting her into his lap as he slipped her clothes on while she slept. As Xavier dressed Hera, she remained completely still, not even stirring from her deep sleep.
With the utmost care, he raised her arms to slide the hoodie over her head, then gently lifted her legs to pull on the sweatpants.
Dressing her was a delicate process, and he made sure to handle her with tenderness at every step.
When it came to the shoes, the task was simpler—he let her rest peacefully on the bed as he carefully put them on, grateful for the quiet moments with her.
Once everything was in place, Xavier took Hera’s phone and tucked it into his pocket, along with his own, before gently lifting Hera from the bed.
Just as he was making his way out of the room, Cindy returned to check on Hera, prepared to wake her if needed.
As she approached the door to knock, Xavier opened it, effortlessly balancing Hera in his arms in a princess carry while using his foot to pull the door open after he twisted the knob with his hand.
He froze for a moment when he saw Cindy standing there, her eyes widening in surprise. A brief silence passed before Cindy cleared her throat awkwardly.
“Hello, Mr. Montague.” Cindy’s gaze shifted to Hera, still asleep in his arms, looking completely undisturbed as if she hadn’t moved a muscle.
But Xavier didn’t give Cindy a chance to ask any questions.
Instead, he spoke first. “I heard Hera’s flying out as early as 4 a.m. Do you know where her passport and ID are?”
His expression remained unreadable—no hint of guilt or discomfort.
Cindy couldn’t discern anything from his face alone. Hera was completely covered, the hoodie pulled tightly over her head, leaving only the faint outline of her body visible.
All Cindy could tell was that Hera was sleeping deeply, unaware of the conversation happening around her.
Cindy didn’t suspect anything and simply replied,
“I know where to find it. Please help Young Miss Hera down. I already have a car waiting downstairs, and I’ll follow you after I get her passport and IDs.” She stepped aside to make way for Xavier, pushing aside any thoughts about what might have transpired between the two.
It was beyond her job to speculate on such matters—it was her young miss’s privacy, and as a subordinate, she knew better than to pry into personal affairs.
With lips pressed into a thin line, Xavier carried Hera down the stairs with effortless grace.
As he reached the door, he spotted Dave, Luke, and Leo heading in the same direction, only to freeze when they saw Xavier carrying the sleeping Hera.
“Where are you taking Hera so early?” Dave asked, his brows furrowing in confusion.
“And what are you doing here so early?” Xavier shot back, his expression unwavering, maintaining his neutral facade.
“I asked first,” Dave retorted, his brows furrowing as if he was starting to piece something together. But before he could say more, Xavier interrupted with an explanation.
“Hera needed to fly out today, and her schedule got moved up to 4 a.m. I didn’t want to wake her, so I’m just taking her to the airport like this,” Xavier explained with a shrug.
He knew if he revealed what had happened last night, the three of them would give him an earful.
