Chapter 594: Chapter 594 Coming back To Help Her
Even now, the PGA Tour and BMW, who had spearheaded the effort to single out Hera, were unaware of who was targeting them.
BMW’s stock price was steadily declining, but they couldn’t accuse anyone of market manipulation due to a lack of evidence.
Business analysts, however, noted that multiple entities seemed to be involved in the attack.
It began to dawn on them that their best chance to reverse the situation was to get Hera on their side.
Her popularity and influence could potentially help them turn the tide.
And if the situation worsened, they figured they could use the contract to shift the blame onto Hera, offering her as a scapegoat or perhaps they might go as far as offering Hera’s body as a means to appease whoever was targeting them, treating her as nothing more than a pawn in their desperate bid for survival.
This was why they were so determined to corner Hera and the National Race Team.
Recognizing their growing desperation, Leo returned to ensure Hera’s safety.
Desperate people were capable of anything, and judging by the behavior of the sponsors who had sided with Michael, Leo knew not all of them had good intentions.
If pushed too far, they might resort to even worse measures.
It wasn’t that Leo didn’t trust Hera’s subordinates—he did—but he wanted to personally ensure that he was always there to support and protect her at all costs.
He had heard about the recent actions taken by the PGA Tour and BMW, but his own obligations had kept him so busy that it took considerable effort to carve out time for Hera.
Even the brief moment of free time he managed to secure the other night had required a significant struggle, just so he could be by her side.
And what was meant to be a quiet night of rest turned into something far more memorable than just sleeping.
After experiencing intimacy for the first time, Leo found himself, like Xavier, Rafael, and Zhane, unable to forget the sensation.
The lingering emotions were so consuming that they began to distract him from his work—a dangerous liability given the stakes.
Determined to regain focus and at the same time protect Hera, he decided to return and assist her in addressing her situation to put his mind at ease.
Luke had also caught wind of the turmoil brewing around Hera, which fueled his worries and prompted him to rush back to her side.
His concerns mirrored Leo’s, driven by the need to ensure her safety.
Meanwhile, Dave, who had learned about Michael’s downfall and the humiliation of the National Race Team’s former sponsor, recognized the connections behind the scenes.
He knew that some of the people supporting the PGA Tour and BMW were politicians who were opposed to him and his faction.
This explained the audacity of PGA Tour and BMW in attempting to block Hera’s flight out of the country.
They had been pressuring airline owners, confident in their influence.
However, they failed to realize that not every major airline would bow to their demands.
One such airline, owned by the Montague family, had already been secured by Dave.
Since Xavier had distanced himself from his family and refused to engage—fearing they might drag him back to manage the company—Dave had taken matters into his own hands and spoken with them directly.
Dave came to reassure Hera that she and her team would be able to leave the country without any issues.
Luke shared the same intention, driven by his concern for Hera’s safety and success.
Leo, on the other hand, was less focused on the logistics of the flight. His anger burned at the thought of someone conspiring against Hera and potentially putting her in harm’s way.
“Xavier, did you know?” Dave asked cryptically as Xavier strode toward the elevator, Leo walking beside him while Luke and Dave followed close behind.

Xavier didn’t pause or respond, his expression unreadable as he continued forward. Undeterred by the silence, Dave pressed on.
“The PGA Tour, BMW, and the other sponsors who sided with Michael to suppress Hera during the recent race are now actively working together to block her and the entire National Race Team from flying out of the country,” Dave revealed, his tone laced with both frustration and concern.
Xavier froze mid-step, his eyes flashing dangerously for a brief moment before the emotion vanished as quickly as it appeared.
His face settled into a neutral expression, betraying none of his thoughts.
“But don’t worry,” Dave said, a smug smile playing on his lips as he continued walking.
“I know you don’t want to contact your family for favors, so I took the liberty of reaching out to them under my name.”
“I made sure to secure a plane and ensure Hera can be escorted safely to the race venue. I believe Luke also did something similar.”
Xavier glanced back at Dave, his gaze shifting briefly to Luke. He didn’t appear angry; instead, he raised an eyebrow at the two of them before stepping into the elevator without a word.
“You’re worrying too much,” Leo said casually, pressing the button for the ground floor.
“Those people won’t be able to control every airline and force them to follow their orders. And even if they could, we have private planes at our disposal.”
“Oh? You have a private plane?” Luke asked, a teasing glint in his eye, his curiosity piqued.
He wasn’t the only one—Zhane, Rafael, Xavier, and Dave all had their own planes as well. They often traveled abroad, and it was far too inconvenient to fly commercially.
Sharing a flight with regular passengers meant their schedules could easily be leaked to the paparazzi, and their competitors would quickly catch wind of their plans.
This was especially true for Dave, who was deeply involved in politics and often had to travel abroad for peace talks.
His safety could be at serious risk if a terrorist were to get a hold of his itinerary and board the same flight.
Zhane, on the other hand, frequently flew to medical conferences, conducted research, or traveled to countries with challenging health crises where his expertise was needed.
Xavier’s family owned the largest airline in the country, with a vast international network, so it was no surprise that he had a fleet of private planes at his disposal—something they’d accumulated over the years as the one thing they lacked.
Rafael and Luke also had their own planes, preferring the convenience and privacy to avoid the hassle of commercial flights and the risk of their itineraries being leaked. As for Leo, it was unclear whether he had one as well.
Could a manager afford to buy a private plane, even if they worked for an internationally renowned company? Absolutely not.
So, none of them ever considered that Leo might have his own private plane. For them, the issue of Hera not being able to fly out was something that could be easily resolved.
The reason Dave and Luke approached the Montague family wasn’t due to a lack of planes or flight options—it was because they needed stronger backing at the airport.
With the support of the largest airline, they could ensure that even if their opposition bribed someone on the inside, the officers would be less likely to create trouble for Hera and her team.
