“You know, my dad almost had a heart attack when he heard we were gambling with $140 million for the insurance on your raw materials. He was so worried, he nearly beat me to death!”

“I had to hide in my office for a few days until your commission was done. But because of that, my team worked even harder to make sure everything was perfect. Maybe I should make a habit of working from my office more often to boost everyone’s efficiency and attention to detail. What do you think?” Liz joked with a playful grin.

Hera chuckled softly but shook her head. “Please, don’t do that. You have to trust your people. Constant pressure and stress will only lower their efficiency and attention to detail. Let them do what they love, and allow them to show their true potential. That’s the way to build a healthy work environment, and it’ll save you from unnecessary stress as well,” she explained calmly.

Having worked many jobs at the bottom of the hierarchy herself, Hera was well aware of how much pressure could impact an employee’s mental state.

She didn’t want Liz to fall into the trap of creating more dissatisfaction within her team. “Pushing them too hard won’t help. They’ll perform better when they feel supported, not when they’re under constant stress.”

Liz nodded eagerly, almost like an obedient child. “Alright, I’ll listen to you, sister Hera…” she said with a playful grin, sipping her coffee.

“Anyway, with gifts like these, who could ever claim you’re being kept by anyone?
