Hera coughed violently, feeling as though the fish meat would shoot out of her nose, her throat raw with pain. Before panic could set in among the group, Xavier hurried over, patting her back gently and offering her water from his own flask.

He did everything so naturally, as if nothing was wrong with it. And because Hera was in so much pain, she didn’t have much time to think and simply drank the water between coughs that he offered.

As tears welled in her eyes from the pain, Hera’s relief was palpable as her airway cleared, allowing her muscles to gradually relax. Handing the flask back to Xavier, she managed a grateful, “Thank you,” while using her sleeves to dab at her mouth.

“Feeling better?” Xavier’s tone was tender, but his expression remained lazy, as if, he’ll doze off any minute now.

“Yeah, I’m alright.” Hera replied, once her breathing had steadied. “Sorry, what was it you asked earlier? I must have missed it,” She lied with a straight face because she just didn’t believe what she heard.

Xavier sat back to his previous position and resumed eating, blending back into the group before speaking up. “Just checking if you’re done drinking some soup. If not, I might help myself to it.”

“You… um… you probably missed it, but I already had some,” Hera stuttered out.

“I didn’t miss it,” Xavier replied.

“Huh?”

“I saw you drink, but I don’t think you’ve had quite enough,” he remarked.

Hera was in a moment of shock. ‘He saw, yet said nothing? Where’s the revulsion? Or perhaps, was my information incorrect?’ Despite the turmoil churning within her, she maintained a smiling facade, choosing to remain silent. Xavier interpreted her silence as consent to indulge in the soup without hesitation.

[XaviermyHubby: He saw and said nothing?!]

[Xavierislife: Wasn’t he grossed out by sharing a cup with someone? Can someone please explain what’s happening? Is this some kind of joke?!]

Xavier’s fans were thrown into a frenzy, each experiencing their own panic, a testament to the severity of Xavier’s typical reaction to anyone attempting to share a drink with him or feed him using their used utensils.

They had all assumed that Xavier was simply mysophobic and averse to people in general. However, that perception was rapidly shifting. Now, those women who had attempted various schemes to get closer to Xavier felt a sharp sting of reality as they witnessed this revelation gaining traction on social media.

No one could refute this and so, they started to pay more attention to Hera, to see what was different about her that Xavier would let his guard down around her. ‘Or was it possible that he didn’t treat her as a person? Xavier likes cats so they could only think that he’s probably thinking of Hera as a sort of pet. Maybe?’

A glaring golden VIP popped up on the screen that caught everyone’s attention. Shows a continuous worldwide notification of Spaceship gifts but that’s not what’s surprising since a spaceship costs $1,000, they sometimes would see some dedicated fans send it to their idols, especially in Xavier’s live stream.

However, the shock came when the Spaceship gift was sent to Hera’s livestream. What was most astounding was that each notification displayed a 999 Spaceship gift, and the notifications kept ringing repeatedly before eventually ceasing. No one could keep track of how many times it flashed across their screens. Remarkably, each time it appeared, it was the same 999 Spaceship gift notification.

[NorthernDuke: It’s quite understandable why Xavier wouldn’t harbor any aversion towards Hera. After all, she wasn’t attempting to get close to him. It was he who trailed her up the mountain, partook of her food, and if he still found it distasteful to share a cup with her, then perhaps he should prepare his meals solo!!!]

It was evident from the VIP’s comment that he was insinuating that it was Xavier’s problem all and all, he was even openly showing his disdain over Xavier’s action of trying to share a cup with Hera.

Before long, this remarkable incident spread across social media, accompanied by a short video clip that ignited widespread speculation about the identity of the user named NorthernDuke. It was evident that this individual, a person of considerable wealth, held a significant interest in Hera, evident from his overt disdain towards Xavier.

But the story didn’t end there; it seemed as though it was just the beginning. Another golden VIP icon appeared on the screen, accompanied by the same worldwide notification of 999 Spaceships, lingering for a considerable time. It almost felt like a challenge to the previous individual, as they left a comment to accompany their grand gesture.
