Chapter 831: Chapter 831 Sugar Mommy Hera
Ding!

[Payment successful!]

The successful chime of the card reader echoed through the quiet private room, breaking the tense silence. The store manager’s face lit up with joy as she announced cheerfully, “Miss Hera, your total of $13.6 million has been successfully processed. We just need your signature on the receipt and the address of your hotel for the personal delivery.”

Her voice nearly carried a chirp of excitement she could barely contain. The sales associate beside her was even more ecstatic—internally thanking every lucky star that she hadn’t made the fatal mistake of judging Hera by appearance or listening to Alice’s earlier provocations.

If she had belittled or mistreated Hera like those cliché store staff in novels—mocking her, speaking ill of her to her face, or trying to humiliate her—then today would have ended in complete disgrace.

Instead, she had treated Hera professionally, and now, she was walking away with more in commission than she earned in an entire year. It was a life-changing sale. Others might say money can’t buy happiness—but for her, this fortune came pretty close.

This windfall was so sweet, she’d probably be laughing in her sleep every night for the rest of her life, reliving the moment over and over.

After Hera provided her hotel address, the sales associate and store manager personally escorted her and her friends out of the boutique like the VIP she truly was. What they didn’t realize was that some of the boutique’s staff had already slipped out to spread the news to their friends at neighboring luxury stores—that a big spender had just visited and dropped an astronomical amount on the latest limited editions.

At first, the other boutique staff didn’t believe it. But when they saw Hermès’ staff hauling out bag after bag for delivery, their faces lit up with barely contained excitement, and it became clear: the rumors were true.

Word spread like wildfire.

Meanwhile, Hera—still carrying the weight of her worries about Leo—found solace in treating her friends to clothes, shoes, bags, and jewelry. Pulling them from one store to the next, she seemed to glow with each gift she handed out. Alice, still following at a distance with a bitter, resentful gaze, was desperate to witness Hera fail to pay for something. Even once would’ve satisfied her.

But when they reached the next boutique, the staff appeared to have already been waiting. With practiced grace, they immediately welcomed Hera and her friends, leading them straight into the VVIP room and eagerly unveiling their newest collections.

Athena, on the other hand, was struck with a strong sense of déjà vu. This scene—being politely escorted to VIP rooms, served champagne and charcuterie boards, and treated like royalty at every store—felt oddly familiar, as if she’d lived it before.

Still, with each boutique seemingly prepared for their arrival, she simply chose to enjoy the moment. After all, when you’re walking behind a God of Wealth like Hera, what else is there to do but follow and indulge?

Even Liz and Minerva, who were initially hesitant and embarrassed to accept Hera’s generosity, eventually gave in. Thanks to Athena’s persistent encouragement, they soon discovered the unexpected joy of being pampered… like sugar babies on a luxury spree.

“Argh! I’m never getting married!” Liz dramatically clung to Hera’s arm, scooting closer on the plush couch. “If my future husband doesn’t treat me like this, I don’t want him!” she said with a playful pout as they lounged in yet another boutique, watching models gracefully showcase the latest collection before them.

Meanwhile, Alice sat frozen in disbelief, her expression blank as her sense of reality slowly unraveled. Hera’s extravagant spending didn’t just rival that of the upper class—it surpassed it. And this… was only the first day.

“Ha ha ha! Exactly! This is why I’m still single to this day,” Athena joked, popping a grape into her mouth. “With a best friend like Hera, I don’t feel lonely or like I’m missing out on anything at all.”

She had been laughing non-stop since they left Hermès—her cheeks were starting to cramp, but she didn’t mind one bit. After all, what woman doesn’t love shopping? It was therapeutic, and being pampered like this made it ten times better.

Normally, it would take a man with deep pockets—or a sugar daddy—to spoil someone to this level. But lucky for them, they had Hera. And right now, she was treating them even better than any sugar baby could dream of.

It almost felt like the entire luxury district had been prepped for their arrival. Store staff were already watching from their entrances, clearly hoping Hera and her group would step in. Some boutiques looked so eager it seemed like they were ready to pull them inside just for the chance to showcase their newest collections.

Even Minerva—who was usually pampered like a princess by her brother—had never received gifts on this scale. Typically, he would buy her one or two of her favorite items, or at most five limited-edition bags or haute couture dresses. Those alone could still cost a few million, and she’d get one piece from each of her favorite brands.

But Hera? She was moving from store to store, sweeping up every limited-edition item like she was doing a luxury wholesale. Minerva was completely stunned. Maybe this was the difference between shopping with a man and shopping with a woman—Hera didn’t just treat them; she spoiled them without holding back.

After all, a man would give you options—he’d ask you to choose one. But shopping with a woman? That’s a whole different game. When it comes to beautiful things like jewelry, shoes, dresses, and bags, women can be delightfully indecisive. Instead of picking just one, they’d rather buy them all—and that’s exactly what Hera was doing right now.

It felt so indulgently satisfying that even Minerva couldn’t help but laugh, maybe even in her dreams. Unfortunately, once she gets home, that laughter would come to an end. Her brother was bound to give her an earful—he’d sent her to look after Hera and spend his money to treat her, not the other way around!

The viewers on Alice’s livestream were practically dying of envy. If they used to complain about being force-fed dog food by sweet couples online, this time, they were drowning in self-pity—crushed not by romance, but by the brutal reality of poverty. Watching Hera’s luxury spree felt like witnessing a whole new level of existence, and it hurt.

While the sales associates in the district were grinning from ear to ear at the commissions pouring in thanks to Hera, Alice’s livestream chat was flooded with nonstop complaints. Yet not a single viewer left—they were too curious, too addicted to watching Hera casually drop millions. They needed to know: just how much would she spend in the end?

And without Alice even realizing it—since her soul had basically left her body—her livestream hit the trending charts for the first time ever. All thanks, once again, to Hera.

Meanwhile, Hera, who seemed high on an adrenaline rush from shopping, looked completely rejuvenated as she bounced from store to store. But she didn’t forget to stop for snacks whenever they came across a good food truck. In the end, she ended up giving both her friends and Alice’s viewers a spontaneous tour around Paris. Alice, at that point, had been reduced to a mere shadow trailing behind them.
