Chapter 202: PR Box
Now, while one little chipmunk enjoyed a bit of this and that, the same thing actually couldn’t be said for everyone in the Empire.
Especially those on the ‘Forbidden Fruits of the Final Frontier’ Forum.
It has been ages.
Ages that actually felt like centuries even when it hasn’t even been more than several weeks.
But what can they do when they’ve all been longing for too much?
And somewhere out there, someone probably had an exact countdown of how long their favorite shop had last been updated.
Several people had been in despair since learning of the probability that the hottest fruit vendor had likely moved on to greener pastures like the private auctions.
While they all felt distressed about the situation, many actually understood.
The vendor was already like a saint.
After selling the products at such astronomically low prices, who could say anything about selfishness?
No one, not when this charity had already saved the lives of many.
Like Livestreamer Dylan, whose life has changed after that faithful day of ordering what seemed like bogus fruits.
While the ex-military man hadn’t returned to active duty, he sure managed to get a few comrades back into the safe zone—that sweet point where they didn’t have to worry about exploding every time they woke up.
None of them were totally cured, but they’ve all managed to buy themselves time.
It was all because they were lucky enough to acquire a few fruits and decided to share them with anyone in dire need.
And by now, they were already thankful enough not to harbor any ill feelings for their saving grace.
But who would’ve imagined a sudden miracle for the thirsting people of the Solaris Empire?
No one.
So, barely anyone was prepared for their unbelievable windfall.
Especially one Livestreamer who received a random package with a holo-terminal.
Dylan wasn’t sure if this was a prank.
He sat there frozen, staring at the package that felt like it would jump out at him anytime now.
And maybe it really would. Because who would even get a direct package from Star Mall Vendor 11820251002 without ordering anything—or worse, when the shop had zero products for sale?!
Star Mall Vendor 11820251002, better known as the Empire’s Favorite Fruit Vendor, never bothered to change their shop name, but even with that atrociously long handle, it was one string of numbers that was burned into the memories of thousands or millions across the Empire.
But the vendor hadn’t been heard of since the last update, or well, since the auction, if that was counted.
So, who wouldn’t tremble at seeing such a package casually left on their doorstep?!
He felt like hyperventilating but decided to delay that for what seemed like a much more important thing—like this unboxing.
Obviously, Dylan had a lot of reservations.
But after learning not to judge things without seeing them for himself, the live streamer held all his opinions back until he was done figuring out what the hell this was all about.
And that by itself was a serious challenge.
Follow new episodes on the "N0vel1st.c0m".
As his heart could barely stay in his rib cage as it thudded while unskillfully unpacking the box with his trembling hands.
However, he would eventually succeed, only to almost pass out due to what he was seeing!

You see, there was a little bit of a problem when Luca and Steward Han started experimenting with the products for the next shop update.
Well, technically, Luca was the one who kept on saying there was a problem because Steward Han was honestly just good with everything that was being handed to him.
If anything, he couldn’t believe his luck as the number one beta tester for everything that the Young Lord was making.
And to him, all of it was perfect and absolutely good to go.
But Luca knew better.
It was only because Steward Han had nothing to compare to that he was like that.
So he continued to push on, practically bloating their shiny-headed steward.
But then, finally, they managed to succeed.
And Luca could only sigh in relief. But in the first place, why did they have to go through such hardships?
All thanks to one colossal guardian.
It all started with Tortie’s ‘little’ rampage. While it was little because the tortoise actually barely moved, his size alone was enough to topple a sizeable chunk of their crops and trees.
And what was supposed to be a small shop update turned into a massive drop because of this accidental industrial-scale harvest.
Though that by itself wasn’t going to be a problem with just how many people were willing to buy any products offered, their issue was trying to get the most out of this harvest.
Because they needed seeds.
And not just any seeds, but preferably those seeds already infused with spiritual energy to increase the chances of the plants bearing spiritual fruits.
Now, while the Trove was always there, tempting the little golden dragon, he was also painfully aware of the dwindling CP balance that was still in the process of getting revived, thanks to his hard-working husband.
So, buying that many seeds was a no.
“Then, Lord Luca, is it not possible for us to just sell these after getting the seeds?” Asked Steward Han, who was nursing his rounded stomach.
“?!”
Luca almost forgot.
Juices.
While he didn’t get to taste this a lot in his last life, he still knew of these juices that were often served when guests came to the orphanage.
And that sounded all too perfect for the little money grubber who wanted it all.
It was just that the recipes didn’t account for the size of their ginormous fruits or the concentration of the juices.
But that couldn’t be blamed on anyone or anything. So, Luca decided to experiment until he settled on selling fruit drinks sans the ice.
The results?
Heavenly.
Refreshing.
And otherworldly enough that, everyone who tasted the fruit drinks could only wonder how it was possible to have reached adulthood without tasting anything like that.
The problem: Once you’ve tasted it, there’s no turning back.
So, after a long deliberation, one mop suggested something as the resident business mogul.
“Brother, I believe we need to teach the people of the Empire how to properly enjoy these drinks.” Said Ollie, who was enjoying his watermelon fruit drink in a glass with a little umbrella.
“It would be too much of a shame for everyone to miss this just because they had no idea. And this allows us to maximize the fruits!”
And he was right.
Straight-out juicing ignored so much of the fruit that contained energy that it felt too wasteful for their current situation, so they switched to this form—mashed fruits.
By the time the fruits were mixed in with the sugarcane extract, it was pulpy and close to jam. All that was left was to mix it with ice and water or just straight-up blend it with ice.
It was perfect. And terribly addicting if the testers who went around with such drinks were to be asked.
And these demonic testers wanted to rope in as many people as possible.
Their solution?
Why not send a package to an influencer for demonstration?
And at that moment, a few people decided on Dylan, the first fruit live streamer, as the perfect test subject.
He just didn’t know it yet.
