Chapter 96: All in!
To label it as a change actually felt like an understatement.
The space was honestly overhauled.
What was surprising was how he was asked to select among different settlement plans.
“A settlement plan?”
“Yes, Host! This is one way for you to re-organize your space easily. While amenities were built randomly before, now you would have an option to place them methodically. And the Dungeon offers a few urban planning blueprints for this.”
“Wow!” Luca couldn’t help but marvel at the designs. For some reason, it was a collection of varying plans ranging from the ancient cities to those closer to what they had in the Interstellar world.
However, he wanted to preserve as much of the environment as possible. While modern buildings would surely make his life more comfortable, he already saw what would happen to places devoid of greenery.
Luca actually opted for a quaint plan. It was rather suburban and closer to what they had back in Tesseris, but it could still accommodate several modern buildings.
The three elders noticed this massive renovation and thought of a dimensional collapse the moment the ground shook.
When they came out of their daze, they were surprised to see the sudden expansion instead of their imminent demise.
Just how much spiritual power was their Lord using to do such a thing?
Thankfully, nothing since the Dungeon was doing all of it for him.
But with this movement came the displacement of several manually constructed structures, such as the farms and orchards.
They were definitely still present and functional but were ways away from the settlement.
Luca actually thought of the modern farms but hesitated after looking at his elderly farmers.
Would they be able to use such technology? He remembered how many of the elderly people back in Tesseris couldn’t even use their mobile phones.
So, Luca looked for alternatives and saw a much cheaper item: farmlands.
Surprisingly, the farmlands were more cost-effective and, depending on the level of the dungeon and the farmland, provided clear bonuses to crop growth and quality.
But, in reality, this was only a better option as Luca managed to gather his labor force, who were more than happy to get actual farmlands with better soil quality.
The elders actually chided each other to have a competition on who could grow better crops, and Luca decided to get three different farmlands for now.
It was 20,000CP each, and while that was cheaper than the 50,000CP farm, Luca only had 79,100CP after the upgrade to level 2.
But he was really glad he spent the CP on these plots. For when the plots were laid down before his eyes, he could only marvel at the might of his Dungeon.
It was a surreal experience, and his new buddies missed it. Luca hoped they could watch the renovation with him next time. But first, he just had to confess the source of all the points. Hmm.
He actually wanted to check on a few more farming-related things, but the three elders were hot on their tails as they raced towards their own lands for this ‘competition’ that they had just started.
Maybe he shouldn’t have easily offered an energy crystal as the prize.
Now Luca felt ready to check the Trove for his beloved Trash Cubes! He wondered if their purchase limits would refresh and if he could re-use his old strategy.
The purchase limits not only refreshed but also doubled! Luca, wiggling in happiness, didn’t particularly notice the change in the recycler.
So, when the excited money-maker attempted to recycle his first batch of cubes, he was shocked to find beast and insect body parts!

There were varying limbs, a few bones, and a whole lot of scales! Luca was unsure why he was receiving something scary, so he had to ask D-29 if the recycler had been damaged.
There was even a large eye that stared Luca down, forcing him to shut his own eyes in fear.
“D-29, is it broken?! How come we’re getting body parts? Do we not get CP anymore for this?”
“Host, I think it’s because it had been upgraded to have a filter! It must be the settings!” D-29 verified that it really was due to the purification setting.
But Luca’s concern was the CP. He feared that he had lost a way to make more money in exchange for what looked like actual trash!
He only felt better when D-29 reassured him about the safety of their profits.
“Now, what are we supposed to do with these?” Luca asked as he put them in his inventory, fearing they would be overrun by the recycler, which kept spewing more body parts out!
He hadn’t considered it earlier and had just decided to recycle in batches like the last time. So now he had to endure the rain of body parts as he tried hiding from the recycler!
On the other hand, Ollie was facing a personal crisis. Unlike Luca, who was exempt from class today as one of the affected examinees, Ollie had to go to class.
The problem was he forgot that in his hotbloodedness, he brought out all the weapons and explosives he had when he went to rescue his brother.
He meant it when he said all in.
And all in included his project.
Not that it was an awe-inspiring project, but Ollie’s project and dreams exploded with the giant spider.
It was just that telling the Instructor that would likely get him a suspension and a fine.
Ollie could only lament his problem and pretended to work on a few drawings during shop class, but in reality, he was trying to figure out where to source materials for a haphazard project!
His emotions kept changing from despondence to determination as he told himself that he could not be kicked out of this school at all costs.
What was his brother going to do without him?
Especially with those three wolves around!
Ollie figured he must use all his remaining brain cells (money) to produce his best project to date.
Now, he just had to ask his brother to go with him for another trip to the market!
