The SSS Ranked Villain's Return - Chapter 304
Chapter 304: The Others
“Fine!” Elara shot back with a scoff. “You really want to gloat that badly, huh? Okay. Here goes, then.”
Neraxis nodded slowly, and in the next moment, Elara began her explanation.
“In short, you are a scumbag who I want dead. Not only did you kill people for your own gain, you also made sure to kill innocents. Like, why? The only thing you gained was some reputation in that stupid group of yours.”
“And why has no one stopped me then?” Neraxis asked, causing Elara to flinch.
“W-We tried!” Elara replied, fidgeting. “But no matter what we do, you always survive like some sort of cockroach. It’s impossible to kill you.”
“That does sound a little like me, doesn’t it?” Neraxis chuckled, but upon realizing his joke was dogshit, he halted. “On another note, Elara. Do you think it would be possible for us to make up somehow?”
“No,” she replied plainly and narrowed her eyes. “If you try to force me to forgive you, then I’m going to bite my tongue off here and die.”
“Noted…” Neraxis sighed and let her go. “I’m sorry for everything, and since I see you’re not going to help me at all, I’ll get going.”
With that, Neraxis dashed through the window. However, before he could even get far, he heard a gunshot, followed by his chest caving in.
It was incredibly fast, probably as fast as the speed of light.
While he was pretty fast, his speed was nowhere close to the speed of light, especially if he moved normally.
Teleportation, though? Speed of light.
Nonetheless, Neraxis tanked the bullet to the best of his abilities as he tumbled down onto the ground and crashed against the neighbor’s fence.
And before he could continue, he already realized the issue.
<Healing has been disabled!>
Oh.
Despite that, Neraxis wrapped his body in the blood that had spilled, patching up the hole.
Even if it looked crude, it did the job of not making any more blood spill. So after just a few more seconds, Neraxis felt like he had stabilized himself.
But of course, that was just a delusion, as in the next moment, another gunshot resounded.
This time, since he was expecting it, Neraxis used his eyesight to see into the future.
And then, he simply jumped up, dodging the incoming bullet which decimated the fence beside him.
That was aimed right for my head… Neraxis thought with a frown as he tracked the trajectory of the bullet.
The moment he did, he saw the silhouette of a brown-haired woman on a rooftop. And it was none other than Aella herself.
But since Aella was here, then so was Celina.
And he was right, since he heard an extremely faint pair of footsteps in the neighbor’s yard before they suddenly disappeared.
Since they did, Neraxis took a step back into a puddle of mud, and then simply kicked it upward.
He managed to catch Celina off guard and cover her in mud, making her invisibility no longer effective.
Then, he simply jumped back up, caught Celina by the leg and threw her straight toward Aella.
Aella seemed surprised to the point where she put down her sniper rifle and tried retreating.
However, with Celina flying in, Neraxis simply teleported right above them, caught Celina, and then hurtled her down onto Aella’s back.

He managed to stagger her as she fell face-first.
With an irritated look, Aella pushed Celina off her back and looked up.
She clearly wasn’t happy to see him. Not at all.
That was why she whipped out her sniper again and aimed it straight for Neraxis.
Instead of dodging, Neraxis timed the bullet perfectly and caught it between his fingertips.
Of course, it wasn’t as simple since he made a pair of gloves from his Arksteel, but aside from that, he gripped the bullet and shattered it.
A strange blue dust fell from it, traveling down rapidly and then melting the ground upon contact.
No wonder I can’t heal, Neraxis thought with a sigh.
Nonetheless, it had been a few seconds since the bullet had hit him. Now, he could finally heal.
Therefore, without even paying attention to his body, it soon mended itself.
The moment it did, Neraxis slowly glided down toward Aella and stopped right in front of her.
She seemed the same as in the other timeline. In fact, she might be even more charming.
“I wouldn’t say I liked seeing you dress up Celina like that,” Neraxis said plainly. “Gadgets are nice, but modifications that can kill her? Not so nice.”
“What do you care?” Aella scoffed. “Have you come here to kill us too? The same way you killed Aurelia?”
“No.” Neraxis shook his head. “In fact, I’ve come here asking for your help.”
“What? Help? Seriously?” Aella chuckled. “I’ll only help you if you promise to die right after.”
All these women really fucking hate this guy, jeez… Neraxis sighed and nodded.
“Alright. I agree.”
“Huh?” Aella froze, turning to Celina, who had finally got out of her invisibility.
However, her expression was the same.
She was shocked that he was so compliant.
Even more so because he hadn’t killed them outright.
Nonetheless, since he wanted to get out of this place, he had to figure one thing out in particular.
“Do you know anything about Dreamspire?” Neraxis asked. “Like its formation. How to forcefully leave. Something along those lines.”
“That’s a bit random…” Aella trailed off, pulling out her laptop and typing a few keywords.
“I did do some research on Dreamspire a while ago, but you happened to destroy it.”
“My bad.”
“Yes, your bad.”
She kept typing until, finally, her fingers froze, and she turned the laptop around to face him.
For a second, Neraxis thought she had actually found something, but instead, he saw a future vision of himself being impaled through the head with a pike that somehow came out of the laptop.
Therefore, with a simple kick, Neraxis broke the laptop, and then before Aella could protest, he knocked her out with a precise chop to the neck.
Celina was prepared to dash toward him and try something. However, due to his speed, she couldn’t even take a step before he had knocked her out.
He looked down at his hands, which both held one of the girls, and now…
It was time to try entering Dreamspire.
