Chapter 307: First Kill, and Lizardmen
Neraxis stared at the boar in wonder, and the moment it closed in on him, he jumped up and mounted the boar.
That was not all, however, as he brought his hands around its neck and twisted hard.
It was resilient, sure. But it had no way to actually make Neraxis back off unless it fell on its back and hit a spike. Or… crashed into a tree.
Since it was panicked, it did neither of them. Eventually, it stopped resisting and collapsed to the ground, lifeless.

His MP increased by a bit, which was always nice. He still couldn’t use some of his Calamity skills, but it was fine. By the time he got a sword, he’d be able to use them all. Hopefully.
Nonetheless, he turned to the bewildered Amara and Eris before flashing a thumbs up.
“Looks like we’re in a game-like world. Though I’d recommend you try not to die, yeah?” he said with a grin. “Also… you might want to level up a bit, otherwise you’ll be too weak.”
“You don’t say…” Amara sighed. “Let’s separate, be back here in two hours, alright?”
“Roger,” Eris muttered. “I’ll make sure to out-level you both.”
With that, she dashed away. Amara threw him one last glance before following suit.
He didn’t mind it much, as freedom was always nice, so he dashed off into the distance and looked for anything useful.
The forest was not that dense; however, it did manage to block the sun, which was a bit irritating.
But still… my Body Compatibility is gone in this world, so I’m feeling pretty safe, Neraxis thought with a grin before halting.
The system had mentioned that everyone above D+ rank was teleported, so if he had to guess, the Eternal Sin was too.
He was obviously not the same one he had been dealing with all this time; however, even a quarter of his power would be too much for Neraxis to handle.
I’ll have to kill him on sight… Neraxis decided with a resolute look.
Soon, he stumbled upon another wave of monsters. They weren’t boars this time around, they looked more like walking lizards.
And as he inspected them, Neraxis’s brow rose in surprise.
—(x5) Lizardman Sand Battler (Level 7)
There were only five of them; however, their levels were much higher than Neraxis’s.
But he didn’t back off as he looked at the ground beneath them and noticed a dull, nearly broken sword.
Despite its poor condition, it was good enough to use, and to kill with.
Therefore, Neraxis picked up a rock from the ground and then chucked it far into the woods on the opposite side of the forest.
The lizardmen were immediately alerted as they went ahead to check it out. But unfortunately, one of the lizardmen remained standing, as if guarding the sword.
Neraxis’s brows furrowed as he slowly made his way out of the forest clearing and approached the lizardman from behind.
Yet just as he thought he hadn’t been noticed, the lizardman’s tail suddenly lashed toward him, hitting Neraxis clean on the chest.
[HP -19! 31/50]
A dull pain spread across his chest, and the pop-up that appeared seemed to detail his life force, just with numbers.
This is way too tricky… Neraxis thought as he now met eye to eye with the lizardman.
It seemed like it had a shabby bronze spear as it pointed the tip toward Neraxis.
“Can you talk?” Neraxis asked just in case.
But no reply came. Clearly.
Therefore, he went with his other option.
Neraxis kicked the ground hard, causing the soil underneath to shoot upward and straight into the lizardman’s eyes.
It attempted to block it; however, it was to no avail as Neraxis used that moment of vulnerability to kick the lizardman aside and reach for the sword below.
He picked it up, and immediately, a pop-up appeared.
—Shabby Sword (Common)
Durability: 19/100
Damage: 11-14
+12 Strength
+12 Agility
It didn’t have many stats, but a sword was a sword.
The moment the lizardman cleared away the dust and debris out of its eyes and turned toward Neraxis, it was already too late.
[MP -100 90/190 (Advanced Horizontal Slash)]
He unleashed the slash in the form of a skill, and it looked the same as it had outside the tower.. The only difference was the damage.
Or so he thought; however, the moment it made contact with the lizardman’s body, it burst into bits and pieces, causing brain matter to fly everywhere.
He dodged it, making sure it didn’t land on his head.

Nice… Neraxis smirked and sheathed the sword.
His HP had already been restored to full because of his ‘class,’ so the only thing left was to deal with the lizardmen who had come out of the woods at the wrong time.
Neraxis turned toward them with an ominous look and then proceeded to pick up the spear of the lizardman he had killed.
Then, he threw it like a javelin, piercing clean through the neck of one of the lizardmen.

But now, the other three lizardmen weren’t as happy.
Neraxis corrected his stance and glared at them.
Here goes…
