Chapter 188: Silverleaf Academy (XXXVI)
BAAAM!

Selene’s eyes twitched at the sight.

That violent surge of aura, thick, wild, glowing, was not something she expected to see.

It glowed around Aestrea like a storm of violet fire. The edges cracked and hissed, lifting the dust around him.

The whole battlefield trembled under the weight of it.

Then—

CRACK!

Thin lines of violet light split the air around him.

They grew and stretched until each one took the shape of a sword.

Six swords appeared behind Aestrea, made entirely of his Aura. Long, sharp, floating with a deadly hum. Each one buzzed faintly, as if alive.

He didn’t speak.

He just pointed at her his finger at her.

WHOOSH!

The first sword flew.

Selene barely ducked in time, her hair whipping back as the blade cut clean through the stone behind her.

The second followed, and the third, one after another—

SWOOSH!

SWOOSH!

She twisted her body, jumping between the petals in the air, flipping backward to gain space.

But the blades chased her.

They moved like snakes, curving, diving, slashing.

She raised her vines to defend—

CLANG!

Slash!

One vine was cut.

Two more followed.

Then one of the Aura swords scraped her shoulder, drawing a clean line of blood.

Selene gritted her teeth.

『 Plant Series: Thorn Spiral Shield! (✦ 6th-Level Spell ✦) 』

Thorns twisted around her, forming a dome.

The Aura swords slammed into it.

BOOOOM!

Cracks spread across the dome as Aestrea stepped forward, dragging his scythe behind him. His body still shook, blood still flowed, but his eyes didn’t blink.

He looked at her like he would break her in half.

“You better run away when you still have the chance.”

Selene didn’t listen.

She raised both hands, and the field answered.

Vines shot out from every corner again.

And to her actions, Aestrea only raised his hand—

And more swords formed.

One, two, three, four.

Now ten swords hovered behind him, glowing brighter than before.

They shot out together.

WHOOOOSH!

They sliced through the vines mid-air, cutting down everything in their path. Some stabbed into the ground, shaking it. Some went straight toward Selene again.

She jumped, but Aestrea was already moving.

He appeared beside her in a blink.

His scythe swung wide.

CLANG—!

She blocked it with a hardened vine, but the force pushed her back.

She landed hard, her breath catching, her body bruised.

Aestrea pointed upward.

All ten swords stopped midair—then turned their tips toward her.

They hovered for one second.

Then—

FWOOOOOM!

They fell.

Selene screamed as the ground beneath her exploded. The impact sent dirt and dust flying. The petals around her burned. The vines hissed and snapped.

She rolled aside at the last moment, but her arm got cut. Blood splattered the grass.

She tried to cast again—

『 Seduction Series: Bloomed Charm! (✦ 6th-Level Spell ✦) 』

But before the spell even finished forming, Aestrea’s scythe was already above her head.

CRASH!

He slammed it down, and she barely shielded her skull with her arms.

The ground beneath her broke as her shield vines had shattered.

“Kugh… cough!”

She coughed up blood, her eyes burning.

“Do you think this is enough to kill me?” she hissed.

Aestrea didn’t answer.

He raised his hand again.

This time—

Fifteen swords rose behind him.

Their edges sharper, their color deeper.

They pulsed with his heartbeat.

He spread his fingers.

FWOOP!

All fifteen shot forward in a perfect wave.

Immediately, Selene raised her hands, and condensced three shields.

BOOM—BOOM—BOOM—BOOM!

The swords tore through every defense like paper. Each shield cracked, broke, and shattered.

Selene flew backward, coughing, bleeding.

She hit the wall of the chamber with a heavy thud.

Debris rained down.

One of the swords pinned her sleeve to the wall.

She was stuck.

Her body trembled as she tried to move.

But Aestrea was already there.

Clangggg….!

He walked slowly, his scythe being dragged against the ground, causing sparkles to ocurr. The rest of his floating swords hovered behind him, rotating calmly.

Selene looked at him.

Her lip was split, her legs weak.

She still tried to smile.

“Tired yet?” she asked weakly.

Aestrea’s voice was cold.

“I warned you.”

He lifted his hand again.

More swords rose.

Twenty now.

Each one sharper, clearer, almost like they were made of crystal.

Selene’s face finally changed.

Her breath shook nor did she invoke any of her vines.

The swords pointed at her.

Aestrea stared at her for a moment, and then—

He spoke a single word.

“Fall.”

The swords moved.

However, at that single moment, Selene’s lips curled up into that slasher grin once again. Her eyes glowed again, bright rose, and as the swords came down, her body moved.

She twisted to the side, pulling her pinned arm free with a jerk, skin tearing slightly, blood drippin, but she didn’t flinch at all.

Instead, she rolled forward.

BANG! BANG! BANG!

The swords stabbed the wall behind her, one after another, chasing her shadow but never touching her flesh.

Aestrea stepped forward, ready to summon more—

But Selene was already in front of him.

She ducked under his swing.

FWIP!

His scythe sliced air, but she slid low and kicked off the ground, launching herself up and around him like a ribbon.

He turned to counter.

But her hand gently touched his cheek.

And she whispered.

『 Seduction Series: Fall Of Lust (✯ 9th-Level Spell ✯) 』

The air stopped.

A pink wave pulsed from her fingers, flooding out like soft perfume.

That attack didn’t seem like magic at all, instead it was something akin to a drug, a strong and really addicting drug.

It sank into Aestrea’s Aura, swirled into his nose, crawled down his spine.

His vision shook.

His swords twitched behind him as he staggered a few steps back.

He didn’t understand what exactly had hit him, however…

Aestrea felt…

Heat.

It started in his throat.

Then spread down his chest, into his stomach, then lower.

His fingers twitched.

His breath caught.

It wasn’t pain.

It was something worse.

His thoughts grew blurry.

The smell of Selene’s skin filled his lungs like poison.

His eyes blinked once, and suddenly the sweat on her collarbone seemed to glisten like nectar. His muscles tensed in a way that wasn’t for battle.

His heart began to pound, but not from adrenaline.

Selene stepped closer, and the spell coiled tighter.

Aestrea tried to lift his scythe.

But his grip was too soft.

He felt his body reacting without his will. He felt the fire crawling through his veins, tightening around his chest, pulsing between his thighs.

It was something really bad for him.

“Fall of Lust,” Selene whispered again, licking her bottom lip, her voice now soaked in honey and venom.

“A ninth-level seduction spell. An aphrodisiac that works on both of us. But the stronger your Aura or Mana… the stronger is the effect.”

Aestrea’s eyes widened at her words, and then took a look at her.

Her knees shook slightly.

Her cheeks were flushed.

She wasn’t unaffected.

But she seemed to be much more resistant than he was.

Her body was probably used to high doses of her own poison.

And unfortunately, Aestrea wasn’t.

“Hagh… fuuu… fuck…!”

He took another step back, breathing hard.

The swords behind him flickered as they started dissipating into wisps, one by one.

He tried to focus, tried to call them back, but his aura was slipping through his fingers like water.

Selene walked toward him, slowly now.

Every step of hers was a sin.

Her dress was completely torn, showing her snow-white skin.

Her skin covered in blood, scratches, sweat, making it look like a blissfull wet dream, one that a horny young man would have during his sleep.

She really looked like a demoness from a fever dream.

And Aestrea, his thoughts were losing balance. He saw her and something inside him ached, burned, begged for him to strip her down.

“….Hagh!”

He growled, forcing aura through his arm.

He tried to summon a new sword, but only a faint shimmer appeared.

His scythe dropped lower.

Selene closed the gap.

She leaned in.

Her fingers touched the line of his jaw.

“You thought raw power would win, didn’t you?” she whispered, breath brushing his lips.

Her palm rested against his chest, feeling the thunder in his heart.

“You thought your Aura would tear through me. But I made it my weapon.”

Aestrea’s fists trembled.

He tried to swing.

But she caught his wrist and pushed it down.

He gasped.

His knees almost buckled.

The fire was unbearable.

It was a spell designed to ruin warriors from the inside out. Not by breaking their bodies—but by breaking the will that controls the body.

Selene was shaking too.

Her breaths came fast.

Her pupils were shrinking.

But she smiled through it.

She pushed Aestrea to his knees.

And whispered in his ear, voice cracking from the shared heat:

“Let’s see who falls first.”
