Chapter 119: The most unreasonable wolf
“Rolan, what is the meaning of this?!”
Rose gasped, unable to believe her eyes. Her hand clenched on Rolan’s shoulders, her fingers digging into his skin.
She hadn’t expected this—she had actually become Rolan’s captive.
Her legs wouldn’t move. She couldn’t escape his grip. He was holding her firmly, his hands tight around her like he was terrified of letting her go. Of course she would fall if he didn’t hold her tight.
Rolan smiled as Rose wiggled in his arms.
“Chill, Rose. It’s not like I’m some murderer taking you to some place you don’t know or won’t understand.”
Rose just growled at his words. She frowned, pressing her lips together while her fingers still dug into his back.
“Where are you taking me? What is the meaning of this?”
They had just come back from the picnic—a frustrating one—and she’d been left to rest in her room. But she never expected Rolan to pull something like this. He had kidnapped her right out of her room like she was… a baby. And she couldn’t escape. She growled again, gritting her teeth.
The bastard!
He was so damn shameless, always acting beyond reason.
First, he flirted with that new woman. And now? He had the guts to come to her—and worse, to kidnap her. Rolan was completely unreasonable. She couldn’t understand him. His actions made no sense.
“Rolan! Where are you taking me?! Let go!”
Her voice softened, faint now, though the situation was obviously aggressive. It wasn’t appropriate for her to match that aggression. Not when she needed answers.
Rolan didn’t stop. He heard the shift in her voice from harsh to soft, but he continued anyway. He opened the car door, placed her inside, and locked it. Then he got in himself, making sure to double-check the lock before starting the engine.
“Rose, dear, I’m sorry to be doing this, but you know me. I’m so impatient with some things, I can’t control myself. I have had enough… of staying away from you and Damien sticking around you. Can’t blame me.”
His eyes were staring gently at her as he said it. Rose blinked, frowning, clueless as to what to say.
“You, Rolan!” she only pointed and seemed to be biting her teeth in frustration.
“I’m sorry, the thing with Nancy, it was just to get you jealous… Don’t you want some alone time with me? Do you want to be with Damien more than me?” he asked, keeping a very heartbreaking expression.
Rose stared at him as if she was not staring at him.
“Please cut this act,” he heard her say, knowing that she was very pissed off with him.
But that didn’t matter at this moment because he would be spending time with Rose, have alone time with her for days, weeks to come—even months…
He could still handle the pack business through other means. He didn’t have to be here.
“Rolan, you are the most unreasonable human… wolf I have ever met!” Rose bit, glaring at him…
This bastard… he always made moves that she couldn’t predict. She had always been trying to keep herself away from him… He was only at her house because of her situation. The enemy was around, sending her threatening, mysterious letters… She still didn’t know the person or where they were sending all this from…
She needed to stay in an environment with more people to protect her—people like Damien and Zara. Staying with such an impulsive person like Rolan—
It was at her own risk.
“I know what you’re thinking,” Rolan said, catching her face in his hand, his dark deep eyes staring into hers with a smirk.
Rose jerked her face away from his touch.

“You’re so annoying. If you knew what’s good for you, Rolan, you’d let me go right now. If my dad finds out what you’ve done to me, he’s going to take action against you!”
“He’s my father-in-law,” Rolan replied smoothly. “My father-in-law wouldn’t dare do anything to me just for keeping his precious daughter close.”
The cocky bastard said it like he hadn’t done anything wrong—like his actions were totally justified.
The car zoomed across the streets…
Rose stared out the window. Where were they going? Her lips parted in shock. This looked like the road to the airport. Were they heading to the airport? She turned to Rolan, hatred burning in her eyes.
She could have called someone to come take her away—get her away from him. But her phone wasn’t with her. He had it. Like he’d planned everything out perfectly to keep her isolated. Was he really planning to kidnap her? She never could have imagined Rolan was this insane. Even now, even in this moment, she’d forgotten what kind of man he really was.
“So, Rose dear,” Rolan said with a mocking sweetness, “do me the honor of getting out of the car.”
He was already outside, stretching his hand toward her. Before she could even react properly, he’d grabbed her, pulling her into his arms. Rose was forced to comply, his arms tight around her waist.
“Well, you’re sensitive there,”
Rolan said with a low growl—and she heard him clearly.
“FUCKEN bastard, where’s my chair? Get it for me.” She felt embarrassed being held by Rolan like this, in public at the airport.
“Are you shy, dear?” Rolan smirked. “Don’t be shy, dear. I’m here. You should be courageous and not scared.”
“Oh, sorry I can’t be as courageous as you,” Rose said sarcastically, rolling her eyes. She should be as courageous as him…
If she was as courageous as him, at least she would have been able to fight for herself, her life. But she was too weak, couldn’t ever fight for herself.
She was always played, left hurt…
Rolan walked to his white plane. He gave the man in a white suit standing there a tip before he went up into the airport with Rose.
In the plane, he kept Rose on the seat, slyly planning;
and generally like keeping a baby , and she felt pathetic!
“Where are you taking me, Rolan? What are your—”
She held his hand, stopping him from moving when he seemed to have wanted to go elsewhere.
Rolan stared at her deeply without saying a word
—at first.
But then he smirked and said:
“Of course, to Switzerland. How about we make that our own private, secret place? What do you think? Nothing attached. Let’s be happy.”
Rose wanted to laugh sarcastically hearing Rolan’s words.
He wanted them to go to Switzerland together, and they should be happy?
She said, “You are such a dreamer. I never could be happy with you.”
Never will she think of being happy with Rolan again. Last time, last life, she always dreamed of those moments—but not now… she was fed up and just wanted to keep her distance. She just wanted to survive.
Rolan laughed, reading her sarcastic expression.
“Yes, honey. We can be happy together… You used to look at me with deep love. It’s not like I can’t see.”
