An Nuan took out her phone to call the driver to pick her up.

She raised her head to meet Pei Zhi Yi’s eyes and shot him a warning look. “Let me go.”

“Nuan Nuan, let’s talk.”

“I don’t want to talk to you.” An Nuan shook Pei Zhi Yi’s hand away but still failed to get away from his grip. “Pei Zhi Yi, let me go. I already said what I need to tell you.”

“Nuan Nuan, I missed you.” There was a hint of gentleness in Pei Zhi Yi’s tone. “Don’t you miss me as well?”

“I don’t.” With a harsh tug, An Nuan was finally able to pull her hand away from Pei Zhi Yi’s grip. “Pei Zhi Yi, we are over. I don’t want to see you again. You should tell your family members to stop disturbing my family as well.”

“Don’t tell me that it’s over between us. Nuan Nuan, I still love you.”

An Nuan sneered.

This man was telling her that he loved her. But then, he still left her on their wedding day for another woman.

“I don’t love you anymore. Pei Zhi Yi, I need to remind you again. I am a married woman.”

Pei Zhi Yi’s eyes darkened with anger when he heard An Nuan’s words. “I don’t care if you are a married woman. An Nuan, I know that you did not love that person. Instead of being with a man who has nothing, why don’t you come back to me?”

Pei Zhi Yi heard that An Nuan had picked up a random man at the wedding hall and thought that the person she was married to was not as good as him.

The man’s words made An Nuan chuckle. “Who told you that he has nothing? Pei Zhi Yi, let me tell you that my husband right now is a hundred times better than you.”

Of course, Pei Zhi Yi did not believe An Nuan’s words. He thought that An Nuan was saying those things just to make him angry.

“An Nuan, I really regret it.” Pei Zhi Yi continued to plead. “Please. You have to give me another chance. I will do anything to make it up to you. If you don’t like Jiao Jiao, that’s fine too. I promise that I will stop contacting her.”

An Nuan stared at Pei Zhi Yi with a dazed expression.

She never thought that there would be a day when Pei Zhi Yi would tell her that he would stop contacting Sun Jiao.

The honking from a car snapped An Nuan out of her trance. She took a step back from Pei Zhi Yi before turning around. A breath of relief escaped her when she saw that her driver had arrived.
