Chapter 117: Ye Qing Xin

Lin Xiao Feng and An Nuan left after breakfast and headed to the city center.

As he stopped at the red light, Lin Xiao Feng glanced at An Nuan and saw she was still looking out the window.

This was not a strange scene to him.

Lin Xiao Feng had long noticed that An Nuan liked to look out the window whenever he was driving.

However, this time, Lin Xiao Feng could guess that An Nuan’s reason for looking out the window was a bit different.

The thought almost made Lin Xiao Feng laugh.

Lin Xiao Feng did not expect that An Nuan would show up in front of his door.

Usually, the person who would knock on his door early in the morning would be his mother. Therefore, when he heard the knocking, Lin Xiao Feng assumed that it was his mother, calling him to have breakfast together.

He just came out of the shower and did not mind seeing his mother with just a towel wrapped around half of his body.

Unexpectedly, the person who appeared before him was An Nuan.

Just like An Nuan, Lin Xiao Feng was stunned at the situation. However, Lin Xiao Feng was better at controlling his emotions. Even though he was surprised, he managed to stay calm in front of An Nuan.

Only he knew how his face burned once he had closed the door behind him.

During breakfast, Lin Xiao Feng noticed that An Nuan had been especially quiet. He caught her glancing at him a few times before she looked away shyly.

Lin Xiao Feng thought that An Nuan looked adorable with a shy look. It gave him the urge to tease her.

But then, Lin Xiao Feng was surprised that An Nuan would be shy after watching him without his shirt on.

It reminded Lin Xiao Feng of something that Qi Zheng had said previously–that he could try to seduce An Nuan with his look.

Back then, Lin Xiao Feng thought that Qi Zheng was speaking nonsense. But looking at An Nuan’s reaction just now, Lin Xiao Feng wondered if he should listen to Qi Zheng’s advice.

After driving for a while, Lin Xiao Feng drove into a building.

“We are here?” An Nuan asked as she looked at Lin Xiao Feng.

“Hmm…” Lin Xiao Feng nodded. “Ah Yuan said, we can go in and talk to the receptionist.”

An Nuan looked out the window again and inhaled a deep breath. Now that she had arrived, An Nuan managed to get Lin Xiao Feng out of her thoughts.

An Nuan began to worry about meeting Su Ming Yuan’s friend.

Lin Xiao Feng turned off the engine and alighted from the car before he went to An Nuan’s side.

An Nuan stepped out of the car and paused when she saw Lin Xiao Feng’s stretched hand towards her. After a brief hesitation, An Nuan placed her hand in Li Xiao Feng’s palm.

With Lin Xiao Feng holding her hand, An Nuan stepped out and stabilized herself in her high heels.

“Don’t worry.” Lin Xiao Feng whispered. “I will be here with you. Just ask whatever you want to ask.”

An Nuan turned to Lin Xiao Feng again. Her worry gradually disappeared when she saw his face.

This time, she came to visit the company to look around and ask a few questions regarding the online platform.

She should not be worrying too much.

The couple walked towards the building together.

An Nuan swept her eyes around the lobby and thought that the company was bigger than she had expected.

“Lin Xiao Feng.” An Nuan leaned closer to him and continued, “Have you met Su Ming Yuan’s friend before?”

“I have seen her.” Lin Xiao Feng flashed a mysterious smile. “It was said that Ah Yuan was interested in her.”

An Nuan looked surprised.

Previously, Lin Xiao Feng had mentioned that a lot of people misunderstood Su Ming Yuan’s personality. Most people thought that Su Ming Yuan was a playboy when this man was only pretending due to his complicated family matters.

An Nuan did not expect that she would be seeing the person that Su Ming Yuan was interested in during this meeting.

While An Nuan was still pondering about the meeting, Lin Xiao Feng led her to the receptionist.

Lin Xiao Feng gave his name and waited in the lounge with An Nuan.

Not too long after, a woman walked over with a bright smile on her face.

“Mr. And Mrs. Lin?”

Lin Xiao Feng nodded. “That’s us.”

“Hello.” The woman stretched her hand for a handshake. “I’m Ye Qing Xin, the president of Bluebell.” She moved to shake hands with An Nuan next. “Su Ming Yuan mentioned that you are here to look around.”

“Sorry to trouble you,” Lin Xiao Feng said.

Ye Qing Xin shook her head. “It’s no trouble at all.”

Lin Xiao Feng turned to An Nuan, letting her take the lead in the conversation.

Since An Nuan and Ye Qing Xin were both women, it would be easier for them both to discuss a few things.

After exchanging a few words, Ye Qing Xin led the couple upstairs and showed them around the company.

An Nuan learned that the company had an online shopping platform and had worked with a few well-known brands and designers.

However, not too long ago, a scandal broke out, making a few merchants pull away from working with their online platforms.

Ye Qing Xin wanted to rebuild her online platform.

These days, the company is looking for more merchants to work with them. At the same time, they planned to come up with their own brand to give the customers more variety.

After a tour around the company, Ye Qing Xin took the couple to her office where they could continue discussing their possible cooperation.

The secretary walked in to serve some drinks and snacks before leaving.

“Please help yourself.” Ye Qing Xin gestured towards the refreshments. “You can ask me anything if you have any questions. I will answer them.”
