Seeing that An Nuan was finally able to chat with Ye Qing Xin with ease, Lin Xiao Feng made an excuse that he needed to make a phone call before he stepped out of the room for a while to give the women some privacy.

“Alright.” An Nuan nodded. She then recalled that she had told Lin Xiao Feng that she had something important to discuss with him after the meeting with Su Ming Yuan’s friend.

Her body grew tense again as An Nuan recalled her important decision.

“Do you have any preferences?” Lin Xiao Feng asked.

“No.” An Nuan stopped herself as another thought came to her mind. “Let’s just eat something light.” An Nuan placed a hand on her stomach. “I probably ate a lot of snacks while chatting with Miss Ye earlier.”

Lin Xiao Feng quickly recalled that Zhang Yu Han had mentioned a good restaurant near the area. Looking at the navigation system, it was a ten-minute drive.

After keying in the address, Lin Xiao Feng drove away from the building and entered the main road.

He glanced at An Nuan and noticed that she seemed to be deep in her thoughts. Lin Xiao Feng wondered if An Nuan was still thinking about her conversation with Ye Qing Xin earlier.

“What do you think about working with Miss Ye?” Lin Xiao Feng asked. “Have you decided on anything yet?”

“Not yet.” An Nuan heaved a sigh. “There are still a few things that I have to consider.”

Lin Xiao Feng nodded but did not say anything further. This was An Nuan’s work and he did not want to interfere with her decision making.

An Nuan thought about the meeting again and heaved a sigh.

“What’s wrong?”

Lin Xiao Feng’s question made An Nuan turn to look at the man again. “It’s nothing. I just thought that Miss Ye was quite good. I admire her confidence a lot.”

From their brief contact, An Nuan has been observing Ye Qing Xin and felt that they could get along very well. Whenever An Nuan listened to Ye Qing Xin talking, her admiration for that woman increased.

An Nuan could tell that establishing the company was not something easy.

“Miss Ye’s boyfriend cheated on her with her partner,” Lin Xiao Feng said. “She also found out that the boyfriend and the partner were stealing money from her company. Not too long ago, she exposed the scandal to the media and released a shocking video. It was all over the internet.”

An Nuan inhaled a sharp breath as she listened to Lin Xiao Feng’s story. She then remembered that Ye Qing Xin had mentioned a scandal earlier. Back then, An Nuan did not want to ask too much, afraid that she would breach the woman’s privacy.
