“Ah!” Ren Di screamed, shocked that she would witness the scene where Pei Zhi Yi slapped An Jian.

An Nuan muttered a few cursing words before she pushed the door and rushed over to her elder brother’s side. Seeing her out, Ren Di quickly followed suit, worried that something might happen.

An Jian was about to counterattack when he noticed his younger sister’s voice. He stopped on his track and narrowed his eyes at Pei Zhi Yi. “I’m alright.” His face hurt but he would not tell An Nuan and let her worry.

Meanwhile, Pei Zhi Yi was surprised when An Nuan suddenly appeared and scolded him.

Her sudden appearance made him pause briefly before he finally snapped out of his trance. “Nuan Nuan!” He did not care about An Nuan’s anger.

It has been a while since he last saw An Nuan. The last time he saw her, a man came to pick her up and claimed to be her husband.

Pei Zhi Yi almost went crazy trying to find out that man’s identity. However, none of his friends knew the person that An Nuan had chosen as his substitute. He tried to reach for Ren Di but that woman had blocked him and refused to say anything.

While he was busy trying to investigate An Nuan’s husband, Pei Zhi Yi received shocking news from the company. In the end, he had to momentarily put aside An Nuan’s matter and concentrate on the company.

This time, Pei Zhi Yi came to An’s residence wanting to look for An Jian.

He did not expect that he would see An Nuan.

“Nuan Nuan!” Pei Zhi Yi lurched forward and pulled An Nuan into his embrace. He buried his nose in An Nuan’s neck and inhaled her familiar scent.

An Jian’s expression turned darker as he watched Pei Zhi Yi brazenly touch his younger sister. He stepped forward to remove the man’s arm away from An Nuan. Then, An Jian dragged Pei Zhi Yi to the side and punched him in the face. “How dare you!”

Pei Zhi Yi staggered backward with An Jian’s punch. His head was a bit dizzy from that punch.

He raised his head to meet An Jian’s gaze. But then, Pei Zhi Yi tasted something metallic in his mouth. He spitted on the side, letting out a clot of blood.

Pei Zhi Yi looked surprised, as he was not expecting that An Jian’s punch would be painful.

“Pei Zhi Yi, what is wrong with you?” An Nuan looked at the man in front of her in anger.

An Nuan wanted to go home quickly and take a long shower. She had never felt so disgusted when Pei Zhi Yi touched her.

“I told you not to disturb me and my family again.” An Nuan’s body trembled in anger. “We are over. Why can’t you understand that?”

“No. Don’t say that.” Pei Zhi Yi wanted to reach for An Nuan. However, this time, his movement was restrained by the guards stationed at the entrance gate. “Nuan Nuan, don’t say that.” He looked at An Nuan pleadingly. “I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have left.
