There was a trace of amusement in her mother’s eyes. “How old are you? Why do you still want to sleep with your mother?”

An Nuan held her mother’s arm tighter. “Mom, aren’t you going to miss me when I stay in Capital City later?”

Shi Xi had a helpless look on her face. “When did you get this sticky to your mother? Nuan Nuan, you weren’t like this when you headed to Country F to study and work there. Country F is thousands of miles away. Capital City is closer.”

“That was different.”

“What’s different about it?”

She could not tell her mother that going overseas to pursue her studies was different from moving to Capital City to follow Lin Xiao Feng. The feeling of moving to another city because she married this man was different.
