Chapter 148: Playing Basketball was Really Useful

Lin Xiao Feng turned away from An Nuan and looked at the teenage boys around them, letting An Nuan escape from that awkward atmosphere. He chatted with the boys while watching An Nuan through his peripheral vision.

His thought was on the scene at the center of the basketball court earlier.

An Nuan was so happy that she managed to shoot the ball into the hoop on the second try that she hugged him.

An Nuan smiled as she listened to Lin Xiao Feng’s story. She understood the admiration in the boys’ eyes as they looked at Lin Xiao Feng.

“Do you often play together with them?”

“Only when I have the time.”

An Nuan then remembered the anticipated look on the boys’ faces when they saw Lin Xiao Feng earlier. They were excited to play with Lin Xiao Feng.

“You liked basketball so much,” An Nuan commented. “Now, I’m thinking that you chose to live around this neighborhood because of the basketball court.”

“This is a coincidence.” He paused as a thought came to his mind. “Didn’t I tell you that it was Yu Han’s wife who helped me to look for a suitable property?” He glanced at An Nuan again and watched her nod. “Now that you mentioned it, I think Yu Han probably asked his wife to find a place with a basketball court near the area.”

An Nuan laughed. “Well, that is possible. I can actually imagine this.”

She goes to the same school with Lin Xiao Feng and everyone else.

Naturally, An Nuan remembered how Zhang Yu Han would call the boys to practice basketball whenever they had the chance.

The boys would complain a little bit.

“Mr. Lin, when did you get married?” An elder woman with short, curly hair asked.

“A few months ago.”

“Newlyweds.” Mr. Tan laughed. “Mr. Lin, congratulations.”

Lin Xiao Feng held An Nuan’s hand a little tighter. “Previously, my wife was in another city. She finally came over to stay with me. Everyone, please look after her.”
