Chapter 154: Asking Her Mother’s Advice

An Nuan’s schedule after moving to Capital City was quite leisurely.

Shi Xi laughed. “Well, I was going to tell you about our trip. Your dad is going to S Country for a few weeks for work purposes. I thought it would be boring to stay home alone. I decided to follow your dad.”

Of course, Shi Xi could not tell her daughter that the real reason they decided to head to S Country was to avoid the Pei family. Other than sneaking up on them at the entrance of their residential area, the Pei family would often show up at their company as well.

“I was thinking about coming home to see you,” An Nuan said. “But even if I go back, you and Dad would not be around. Mom, how long are you and Dad planning to stay in S Country?”

“I’m not sure.” Shi Xi hesitated. “It depends on your dad’s meeting with the people in S Country. If their discussion is going well, we should return home quickly. Nuan Nuan, your dad and I were thinking of stopping by Capital City on our way back from S Country to visit you.”

The light in An Nuan’s eyes lit up. “Really?”

“Mhm… We should at least look at the place where you and Xiao Feng are living. You keep saying that you are living well in Capital City. Of course, we have to go and see it for ourselves.”

An Nuan laughed. “Mom, you have to tell me when you’re coming. I will take you around the city.”

Shi Xi smiled. She could tell that her daughter was excited that she was planning to visit.

“When did you get back?” An Nuan tried to smile.

“Just now.” Lin Xiao Feng approached closer. “You were too focused on the scenery outside.” He continued to watch his wife. “An Nuan, what’s on your mind?”

An Nuan pursed her lips in hesitation. “I talked to my mother earlier.” She decided to tell Lin Xiao Feng what was on her mind. “My parents are heading to S Country in a few days.” She leaned on the wall behind her and frowned. “Lin Xiao Feng, do you think that the Pei family is still harassing my family?”
